The beer and the mash potatos were the only thing good at this visit. Steak was horrible calamari was just beyond disgusting. The beer was good not cold enough but good. They should chill the glasses for beers on tap and bottle.

Best fricken chicken in the Bay area! Fun family friendly environment. Great prices, excellent wait staff, clean and comfortable dining area. What more can you expect?

Stopped in here the night before our flight, interesting system they had designed which seemed to cut out having to have any wait staff(as I imagine the minimum wage in California is too high for most businesses) but it worked very smooth as you are given a buzzer for when your food is ready. Very pretty set up and quick service. I could sum up this restaurant in saying its sit-down quality food in a fast food environment. I got the Garlic Chicken Alfredo, and it was pretty nice as well as the molten cheese(which wasn’t really molten, but still good.) the pasta was about as good as any Olive Garden(which I think is great) and the molten cheese was more like a bruschetta than cheese stick that I thought they were. Other people in my party got hamburgers and steaks which looked equally as good and they raved about. So good stop if your headed for a long flight!

I’ve been quite a few times now, as I live and work very close by. It’s fast, convenient, and there are a great deal of options. Furthermore, the food is not bad and it is very reasonably priced for the large portions! I especially like all of the different chicken entrees, the salads, and the bread pudding with ice cream. I wouldn’t go there for the pizza or spaghetti and meatballs. They have a solid happy hour as well — ½ off all drinks. I only wish it could go the same for the appetizers during that time too! There’s ample indoor and outdoor seating, televisions, sometimes live music, and a pretty relaxed atmosphere.

Jessica bartender extraordinaire! Makes the best –Old Fashion– Evah! Super attentive, made sure my drink was right before she handed it to me. Lesson learned always ask your bartender what their«Drink Specialty» is if you’re willing to try something new… or a favorite with THEIR twist on it. Thank you Jessica! Cheers! Oh yeah and the calamari was pretty good.

I needed to make a reservation for about 25~30 people on a Thursday Night and they were so accommodating. I called at around 8pm to make a reservation for 9pm and they were willing to accommodate such a large party. I checked Unilocaled and it said that they were closed at 9pm, which got me confused. I clearly heard, «as long as you guys order all the food by 10pm you guys are fine» on the phone, so I wasn’t too worried. When we all arrived, we were told that we were going to have the whole upstairs, but we got a whole room for ourselves with 2 big tables. I love how Sonoma is like a fast-food type of sit down restaurant. You order your food, get a beeper and wait for your food. I got the Chicken Piccata dish and it was very yummy! I love me some lemon + capers ^_^! One of the waiters also came up to our party and random put a Chocolate Fondue order on our table. I asked him… «Who is this for?» Then he replied, «we make an extra one on accident and didn’t want to leave it to waste, so here you guys go!» I thought that was pretty awesome which made our experience even better! Service, food, atmosphere = Alll good! Food could be better, but it was still good for our situation lol.

It’s 6 pm it’s not that packed but the service. Sucks. Martinis are less than stick with beer and we’ll see about the food.

This is a great place for large group gatherings. I got introduced to this particular location because of my work. The food itself is okay… there’s not a ton of great options for vegetarians. The grilled veggie pizza is pretty great! I’ve had a portobello mushroom with pasta and it was ok.

FOOD I always get their half chicken for $ 12.95 which to me sounds like a decent price for being at a restaurant. I like the warm vinaigrette better than the BBQ sauce and there’s one other sauce option. Comes with a slice of cheese pizza and a side of your choice. Grilled veggies comes with zucchini, onion, red yellow and green bell peppers. You can add another side for an additional $ 2.00. Chicken is pretty good. Calamari half dish is decently portioned and good. Comes with red sauce. Crispy wings were good. DRINKS Soda fountain drinks available. Bar stocked with a lot of wine. Stella was on tap last time I was here. DEALS they seem to always have some Groupon deal going on but it’s not always a good deal at least from what I’ve seen because without the deal I end up spending less money than the Groupon. VENUE outside seating is always laid out, but due to the cold and rain the outside area is wet and nobody sits out there. Two level joint with private party reservations available upstairs. If there’s a sign that it’s reserved then you can’t eat upstairs. Upstairs has fountain drink and to go container station so you don’t have to walk all the way downstairs again. Tvs are on too. There are parties going on downstairs too. Plus side having parties here is that your guests pay for their own food at the register. Get a pager. Then pick up their own food when it’s ready. Bathrooms are nice. PARKING available in the outside lot or there is a parking structure garage a little ways away. Sometimes if you get lucky there’s sidewalk parking by their outside eating area. OVERALL3 stars for A OK for me, but it’s not bad either. The food isn’t absolutely amazing. I don’t crave it if you know what I mean so 3 stars in my book. They closed down the downtown San Jose and downtown Campbell location. I heard they filed for bankruptcy so not sure if this one will close too.

I’m officially a regular! Woo-Hoo! I enjoy coming here and feeling the good vibes from the place and the people. The service is always pleasant and the portions of food are always decently sized. The bar area is a great place to hang out as well as the patio. Thanks for having me(=

Not a fan, tbh. I came here because my parents got a Groupon. I saw all the Unilocal reviews about huge portions, but maybe what we got just doesn’t come in big portions? My parents and cousin ordered two cioppinos, and I got the chicken parm(subbed the pesto pasta for leeky mashed potatoes). The place is spacious and you order at the front, take a pager, and pick a table to wait for your pager to buzz to pick the food up. Not much of a service kind of joint. It’s a nice place for appetizers and drinks. We went there and watched the Warriors vs. Spurs game. They turned off the volume, but we just adjusted it ourselves. Not super HD, but it does the job. They have an upstairs which they use for private parties. As for the food, I wasn’t super impressed. The chicken parm was a decent(but not overwhelming) portion. I was surprised it didn’t come with focaccia like I thought it would, maybe it was the subbed mashed potatoes? The mashed potatoes weren’t piping hot. But they came drizzled in gravy. Not bad, the texture of the leeks was interesting. Chicken parm wasn’t super cheesy, the tomato sauce was too citrusy. I added a lot of pepper flakes for flavor. My parents weren’t really impressed with the cioppino. Although it came with a decent amount of seafood, the amount of pasta was miniscule. Meh, there are other places to visit near by. If looking for a place to watch sports games, I’d recommend somewhere else.

If it weren’t for my friends who wanted to treat us to dinner here, I wouldn’t have eaten here. Although SCC offers a variety of food that sound wonderful, I’m always disappointed by their execution. For example, I had their Bacon Burger which includes grass fed beef with a chunk of blue cheese, lettuce, tomato, onions, pepperoncini, and bacon, of course. Doesn’t that sound like a great burger? Unfortunately, my burger was dry and tasteless. However, the fries were very good so I made that my dinner. Also, my dining companions ordered calamari and BBQ chicken wings to share which were good. Since beverages are self serve, I like to get plain soda water and sliced lemon. It makes me happy.

This place is okay. It gets really busy here during lunch time and I think it’s really nice how they give you a free drink with your lunch. I got the flash fried chicken. I thought the plating was really weird and sloppy. I had some chicken, some mashed potato, a random corn and a random slice of «flatbread» that looked like a slice of cheese pizza on top of everything. It definetely did not look like a restaurant quality plate but rather it looked like a buffet plate, you know how you just slap on a bit of everything whenever you go to a buffet? Yeah, it straight up looked like that. The food here is really mediocre and it’s nothing special. I stole some chips off my BF’s plates and I must say that their homemade chips are really good though! Perhaps I will come to their happy hour and grab a beer and some a plate of their homemade chips.

Only Sonoma Chicken Coop in the area. I really like this location because it is very spacious, meals are always delicious(and I do not feel guilty eating. Lots of healthy choices). Upstairs can be used to host your event. I have been here for countless birthday parties and baby showers. The bar downstairs offers a great happy hour with amazing drink deals. Lots of television screens to watch your favorite team play and tons of tables to chose from. Parking is a bummer but the garage near the coop does its job. I really hope this coop stays open for a very long time. One of my favorite places to eat and hang out.

While visiting friends in Cali, we came here for lunch. This place reminds me of The Cheesecake factory. Their menu is extensive and offers variety. There was ample amouny of parking, but was limited to one hour. Although, i stayed longer than an hour. So im not sure if the one hour limit is strictly enforced. When i got inside the restaurant, it was a pay first and wait for your food so thay you can take it to your table. I can imagine that this is perfect for people working ans on their lunch break. You can get in and out of this place without much wait. I ended up getting the streak dish that came with asparagus and leek mash potatoes. It wasn’t high end steak but it was still tasty. Overall, I would definitely come back and eat here again.

I never really thought I’d find anything I’d really like here to be honest however when my company did a lunch activity here, I finally decided to try it and got the lime grilled chicken — and it was delicious. The chicken breasts were super juicy, rice was an herb butter pilaf mixture and it came with steamed green beans. Service is quick and efficient. Only small downside is parking seems to be hard but I don’t think people wait too long to get a spot.

Stayed at a hotel close to her and was looking for dinner. I wanted a burrito really bad, but everything was too far away and I wanted food now! This place looked interesting, with everyone sitting outside and eating and the name alone. I knew I was getting it to go and bring back to the hotel, so I didn’t want anything really fried, but the fried chicken looked and sounded really good. I went with a garlicky spaghetti with olive oil and grilled chicken. The chicken was charred like I like it, with a hot spiciness to it like a jerk chicken. It was very garlicky which I love. They threw in two little pizza slices which surprised me, but they were good nonetheless. I’d like to go back here and try some of the other dishes I saw people getting, which all looked very good.

The wait was terrible! Order a half portion of calamari and an order of lobster mac and cheese. Got our buzzer and sat down. 25 mins went by and nothing. Decided to see what was taking so long so I went to the counter and saw my food. It has been sitting there. When I got there the person gave me my food. Not once even bothering to buzz me. Calamari — always get a full! For a buck or two more, you definitely get a lot more. Ours was not hot so it did not taste as good. Probably because they didn’t buzz us. Lobster mac and cheese — not hot either. It was luke warm. Pretty that they added a full lobster tail but that’s the only lobster you get. They add imitation crab to the Mac and cheese. I was not impressed. Definitely not coming back!

Solid Drinks, Solid Food, Casual Ambience = Great Meet-Up Joint SITREP My buddy Lance was celebrating his local birthday shindig here(hella convenient for him & wife Carrie since they live merely walking blocks away). THESETUP Coming from out-of-town, it was easy to find via GPS and the parking was very easy as well. The place is spacious with upstairs and downstairs dining options. What I like about this place is that it is an order-first counter, and then you find your tables. When your number is called, your little plast square lights up and you go grab your food. The Bar stands towards the back — where we were actually seated — and so there is no bottle-neck of congestion as there is, for example, at Burgers N’ Brew in Sacramento. THEFOOD Absolutely hearty and delicious! We shared: * Clam Chowders * Caesar Salads * Steak & Prawns dinners * Fish & Chips dinners * Basket of Fries * Etc. etc. PRICES, SINGLEBILLS&NOTIPHEADACHES The prices are as reasonable as you would find at any Outback, BJs, etc., style of sit-down place, BUT without the hassle of one large bill — since we ordered at the counter, everyone paid for themselves, and no one gets stiffed with paying for more than is their fair share. In addition, there isn’t the hassle of trying to figure out a tip since we ordered, picked-up and brought back the food ourselves. THELOWDOWN If you prefer to be waited on hand & foot, than this place is NOT for you. But if you like great food without having to deal with all the embedded server-tips on parties of 6 or more, breaking-down-bills-for-individuals-per-order, nor getting-stiffed-by-others-crap, than this place is for you! ;)
