Anytime I go to starbucks and I ask for a special request, I automatically expect an eye roll from the cashier. This was not the case today. Instead, MarryLee made my morning so much better. I had two kids with me, which isn’t always easy to quickly place an order with. I also made a request to make multiple transactions, and she was more than happy to do so for me. Marrylee was so friendly and welcoming and didn’t make me feel bad or rushed during my order. What a great barista!

This was probably the best Starbucks experience I’ve had. The girl/woman who helped me, rang me up and made my drink was amazing I got 2 drinks and a cookie and it was perfect. She asked if I wanted my cookie warmed and I had never Been asked that which was nice lol, and when I tasted my drink I 2as in heaven, it was made to perfection. I’m sorry I didn’t get your name but you the real MVP, hire more like her!

This was my first time visiting this location. There was no line or wait to order. I ordered the salted caramel mocha, it was prepared just right. This location is very convenient as you can order your drink and enjoy it while you shop at Trader Joe’s or Costco! They have outdoor seating too.

Nice small SB in the Almaden Plaza — it’s great that it’s open early than other stores. Clean and comfortable. Good standard.

This is a shoutout to Lisa, so charming! Thank you for your positive attitude, it’s disarming and a breath of fresh air. I was instantly transported back to when I lived in Atlanta where people were very polite and sweet. I wish more interactions were like this. Thanks again!

This location is much improved over how it used to be. That being said, this location has a HUGE light pollution problem. The windows face east so excessive amounts of light come in in the morning, and you get blinded by the sun. They need to get more umbrellas to protect people’s eyes from the sun coming in. It’s not a pleasant location to be in if it’s a sunny day. There needs to be outlets installed on the wall so you don’t have to plug in your laptop right next to the window., and they need to move the stuff away from the wall near the door so people can use the outlets there. The wi-fi is fast, there is better seating, with plenty outside for people with kids with them, and the inside tables have chargers on them for cell phones. I’m not sure why they don’t have ones that fit laptops and tablets, though. On the minus side, one of the walls that has outlets is completely blocked by all the junk they sell, which I rarely see anyone buying, so it’s pretty much a waste of space. it would be better to put these things in front of the windows, since these would be useful in blocking the glare, especially when someone parks a white vehicle there. This is one area where the location of this Starbucks is a huge drawback. They need to get some real shades here and use them, because it is often blinding in here. They have better music playing than the ‘80s crap they play at Whole Foods most of the time I’m there. The coffee is about the same price as Whole Foods, but the prices of the pastries are sky-high, and the brownies are half the size they used to be, but for the same price!!! There is also little choice of accompaniments to coffee here — no soy or almond milk. The employees were friendly last time I was here. Another downside here is it can get pretty noisy here, and also sometimes people do unsanitary things like place their child on the counter where food or condiments are placed. parents – that’s what CHAIRS are for. For at least a month now the chiars annd tables ooutside hhave been chained together, ostensibly because of the«rainy season», but there is a big overhang to protect from any weather. A group of Pioneer High dance teammembers came wanting to all sit outside, but since the lazies who work there won’t get off their butts to set them up, the girls all had to just stand around inside. Result place is even mmore crowded than normal. Forget trying to study — it get very loud, very early. Avoid this location if you want to enjoy your drink and relax.

This location used to be fine. Lately I’ve noticed a marked deterioration of service. Specifically, the employees who take the orders get the orders wrong. The errors are not from the baristas. This happened to me three times within the past week. Starbucks can do better.

I decided to come to this location after I went to Costco to kill some time before I had my Dr’s appt. It’s definitely a smaller Starbucks with a hand ful of seating inside. Most of the seating looks to be taken up by people who are working or doing homework and taking advantage of the WiFi. The workers there are really friendly and sweet. There’s plenty of parking but you can definitely be competing with all the Costco shoppers trying to get space too!

Nice place to do some work. Not busy and not quiet. A good flowing place. The day I went one of the baristas provided complimentary mini pumpkin latte and a piece of pumpkin bread to all of the patrons at the shop. Definitely very awesome and nice of them to do that.

Awesome Starbucks! Baristas are super friendly. I’ve been a little critical of Starbucks stores lately after encountering some rude baristas at other locations so I am very appreciative to see a Starbucks the way it should be. The line can be a little slow but I prefer this location to the ones that are actually on my way to work. Johnny, who was working bar today, was interactive with customers and would pick up the cup he was about to make and look at you and start a conversation. He knew a few of the frequent flyers by name as well. It’s the small things like this that I would drive out of my way to come to this Starbucks to have a barista that will make my day.

This Starbucks is terrible now. I’ve been going here for 5 years and it’s never been bad service. None of the new girls smile, say ‘hello’, say ‘thank you’, or even apologize when they screw up(not to mention forget) your order. The original employees used to give you a coupon for a free item when they knew that they had messed up. But now it’s an «oh, I’ll get that» with an eye roll. Ever since the new manager, Rebecca, came in the employees are rude and careless. So disappointed.

Wish I didn’t leave so quick and had gotten her name. I had a drink made, they put the wrong topping on and and when I asked to have it remade, the barista used her finger to scrape off the toppings. Couldn’t stand how unsanitary it was and decided to just leave. Should have gotten my money back and reported her! It happened around 5:05 pm Sunday may 11th, if anyone actually monitors these Unilocal reviews and does anything about it.

Such a convenient location! Directly in between both a Costco & a Trader Joes, where I shop weekly. There is rarely a line either, which shows that the staff works FAST because they’re ALWAYS busy. Nice staff & delicious drinks! Couldn’t ask for more from a Starbucks.

The reason I love this location is because I decided to test out one of those crazy«off the menu» Starbucks recipes and they did a great job! Thanks to Coffee Lover On A Mission who introduced me to the Banana Foster Frappé, I decided to try it out. When I told the barista he looked at me really weird but once I offered him the recipe he made it no problem! The drink turned out better than I even imagined it so I’m guessing their other drinks would turn out just as great.

What’s nice about this location is that it’s not too big but yet has a lot of room inside for sitting. So many locations have not enough tables and chairs. This one is just perfect! Friendly staff and nice location right next door to my neighborhood Costco! What’s also cool is they have a big flat screen right over the sugar/cream station that tells you what the current song that’s playing is.

I love this place it is a great place to sit and read the people a nice and willing to help you out with waking up. I did not give a five star because of the way the tables are set up if some one sits by you it make you fell like they are watching every thing you do and they need new sun blinds thank you

My go to Starbucks. The Baristas are always so sweet and they make my drinks just right. Their hours are slightly confusing… I feel like sometimes they close early or don’t open their doors early enough but that could just be me. This location is great to just sit outside with a cup of coffee and watch the psycho Costco customers running over pedestrians.

I came here twice the past month and it’s the same gentleman who works at Front Reg. He’s very nice and polite. I’ve been in retail for so long that I can tell if someone is being fake or not. He’s just very genuine, calm and has great composure. No comments on Bar because my drink is Pike. Shout out to their Retail Professionalism : When it slowed down, the baristas started their cleaning tasks and while they were chit-chatting, they politely lowed their voices down to an appropriate level. From my past experience, not that many people realize how loud they can be. Believe me, thanks to my job, I can eavesdrop very well, but I couldn’t. :-)

Decent Starbucks located in this huge old plaza. They do close quite early on the weekends(8PM on Saturday), and nabbed my free birthday treat here. Chose the Santa Fe chicken panini, and although I was going to save it for later, their grill was already shut down at 7:30PM. Toasting it at home was definitley not the same. However, the baristas here are friendly and helpful. A tad small inside, but some seating outside.
