Starbucks

Friendly coffee shop, quick service and great staff. Never had a problem here and I always stop by when running errands at the Safeway next door.
Be prepared to meet all your old high school ‘acquaintances’ and for awkward small talk as this Starbucks seems to be that weird meet up place everyone ends up going to on the holidays when they are in town.

Service is good. The employees are very nice. However, I am boycotting it because they said they will put merry Christmas on their cups and they didn’t do it, for they are misleading people.
BTW: I’m only 12 and in the real world if you don’t do something that is lying.

Throw out your typical undesirable opinion of corporate coffee chains, this Camden/​Almaden location is one of the best Starbucks stores! Love love :) Believe it or not, besides being a boba addict *cough* I mean lover, I’m also a coffee snob teehee. When I was younger, my coffee journey started at Starbucks– I used to work as a barista here! The staff is wonderful and they really care about their customers. I’ve yet to encounter a disgruntled barista but even so, they’re also human. They’re quick to own up to their mistakes and respond positively!
The staff is also genuinely concerned about the drink quality too. They adhere strictly to the timing of crafting their drinks — i.e. espresso within seconds, pump the syrups and chocolate, steaming milk, etc. If it wasn’t made perfectly, they are more than happy to do it again :) Although the location is small, few tables and couches in the front and back with some outdoor patio seating, I always enjoy their fast wifi and there’s usually some free seating. Service is A+! I always tip them every time I come by. Thanks y’all!

Aim for the GOLD Membership/​Card! You get a free drink/​food every 12 Stars/​TRANSACTIONS! So it doesn’t matter if you buy 5 drinks in one transaction, it only counts as 1 star. Make sure to separate them (albeit a hassle) :) Otherwise, you can pay from your phone now and just pick up. Their online app is super useful. Check it out too!

Been here a ton over a decade. Love the baristas who have been great friends through the years!

The staff here are way more personable and friendly that any other Starbucks I have been to! Very glad to live right around the corner… Also, very nice to see so many familiar faces every time I go! Seems to be a local favorite :)

Friendly staff, great local coffee shop. Plan on running into lots of old friends and spending an extra 2 hours there.

Friendly staff here unlike other starbucks ive been to. Good place to hang out. They got the nice comfy couches i can kick back and relax while working on my projects. It does get a bit too rustle and bustle around the area cause of the busy silicon valley peps. Coffee tasted similar :)

Good staff and Duracell phone chargers. cool place to kill some time.

Friendly workers. No lines. A go-​to place for a quick coffee pick me up just off almaden expressway. My order was ready in no time. In and out of there 60 seconds tops. Next to Safeway, there is also always ample parking.

Their service is poor and my drink was poorly made. I expect a standard when I pay six dollars for a drink.

I usually come here once a week to work and dont have any problems. Comfy chairs and wonderful service.
Today the young cashier «K» took my cash and then for change, she overpaid me. I kindly said, actually you only owe me $ 4. She responded, «That’s what I was going to give you until you confused me.» She then stormed into the kitchen and said she needed the till opened because some lady…
I didn’t hear the rest. When she returned and the till was opened she asked, «So what do you want?» I explained that I was just being honest and that I owed her $ 1. When she rebuffed again, I responded, that I didn’t confuse her and that the phone call (during our transaction) was the culprit. I believe she was just doing her job and was interrupted. But then she headed toward passive aggressive mode and said, «Okay sweetie» «I got it honey.»
I think a little training on not making the customer feel horrible when you are on the defense would be beneficial. The customer may indeed not always be right but be professional and take the high road. The customer behind me was livid over all this and another matter and asked to speak to the manager. I sort of shimmied away as I didn’t want the confrontation to escalate.

Came here to get some homework done. I ordered a iced coffee so the barista asked if I’d like sweetener. I said sure, she said regular or would you like something like vanilla or any of our other flavors, vanilla is my favorite. So I went with vanilla. Small gesture to give me a unique and personal experience. Thanks for being nice! She tried to make every customers experience personal, she complimented the lady in front of me on her facial or something like that. I appreciate that in the hospitality world.

Right by my work the staff are all soo friendly and work quickly to move the line during a rush.

This Starbucks is great for grabbing a drink and hanging out with a friend or two. The drinks here are significantly more expensive than other Starbucks around town for some reason, but the store itself is bigger. There are a lot of places to sit with seating available indoor and outdoors. There are also couches with give the place more comfortable and cozy feeling. Drinks are always made correctly, I just wouldn’t want to pay more than $ 5 for a drink when I could go a few miles out to another Starbucks and buy the same drink for less.

Busy is the name at peak hours & these guys don’t break their stride. I like walking here with my dog & getting a latte. Love those chocolate cookies in the purple wrap, !!

I love this Starbucks, the staff is so friendly. They always remember my drink and if they can — have it ready waiting for me. I am in and out in less than 5 minutes. Today I stopped by to re-​order my drink since another Starbucks had messed up my order. They did not even charge me (and they were not the ones that messed up). You have to appreciate the great customer service.

Great Starbucks! Jamel is always very helpful, and social! The seating is usually pretty packed in the morning, and after the schools are out. The staff is always on point with making delicious drinks speedy, and friendly!

This Starbucks is the nicest I have seen. There are actually 2 separate areas to sit, with better small tables than I have seen at any Starbucks, and better chairs, too. This place is in a relatively shaded area so you don’t get too much glare from the sun – most Starbucks are sadly lacking in that area! Lots of outlets, but the wi-​fi is pretty slow here… they haven’t gotten the alleged fast wi-​fi Starbucks is supposed to be
is reasonably good, too, but I wish they had soymilk for the coffee. Tons of outdoor seating – this place doesn’t have that notorious cramped feeling you get at most Starbucks! bathrooms were out of order today – NOT COOL when you’ve had any anoint of caffeine and sugar!

This is the best Starbucks around! The people are always soooo sweet! Today I went in during a rush and they gave me my coffee for free because there was a line! They didn’t need or have to do this but they did as a courtesy! totally unexpected surprise!
