Must be under new management. Went in because I received a coupon in the mailbox. WOW! WHAT A CHANGE! Bread was super fresh, not dry. Long line because everyone got the coupon but the line went fast because a lot of help behind the counter. Paying was a breeze, no excuses like the ATM isn’t working go get cash etc. Chip read, charged accordingly on my way. The sandwich was delicious. Glad things changed!!!

I love Subway sandwiches but the one on bollinger is owned and operated by a really bad business owners with terrible customer service. Not friendly to the local community. Wants to make money from the locals but yet they are hostile towards their customers. They have no concept or idea of how to retain business. I will never go their again. There are other subways in the area that will get my business. Pass on this one.

Horrible staff. Specially the Mexican cashier and others. Nickel and dime over a drink on Xmas. Rude staff.

I went to this Subway earlier today to pick up a simple foot-long pastrami sandwich. After ordering my desired foot-long sandwich, I kindly handed the cashier my coupon that says«Use This Receipt To Get Any Footlong Sub For $ 6». Sounds like a simple and fair transaction, right? But no, the female worker denied my coupon and told me that it doesn’t apply to specifically pastrami sandwiches. Um, what? The coupon literally says that it can be used on ANY sandwich at any Subway location in the San Francisco and Greater Bay Area locations. Also, the coupon was not expired and even both the title and instructions said nothing about how you couldn’t apply this to a pastrami sandwich. I have used coupons like this fine at other locations, but for some reason, this specific Subway did not honor my coupon or the guidelines that came with the coupon. If you look at the other Unilocal reviews, another disappointed customer had the same problem as me. Honestly, I believe that it is absolutely ridiculous that this chain rather save a few bucks on ingredients in exchange for their customers’ happiness. Pretty upset with the customer service at this location and I will not be coming back.

A few days ago, after buying the sandwich here, I’ve got a SmartReceipt to get any footlong sub for $ 6. On 09/20/2015, I tried to redeem it asking to sell me the footlong sub $ 9.95 for $ 6. Both workers told me, «No», then they invited the manager who also told me «No, this receipt doesn’t work.» I answered, «Stop. Lets read it together slowly to get its meaning for sure.» I read it aloud and then asked, «Why they give customers this SmartReceipt, if they refuse to do what they promise?» The answer was very logical, «It doesn’t work because the sub(you want to get) costs more than $ 6.» :))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) Therefore, the SmartReceipt works only for subs with regular price cheaper than $ 6. :))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) It means the SmartReceipt works for idiots only. :))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) I told the manager and the cashier that I am going to write review about what deal the Subway is offering and how they refuse from obligations and responsibility. They responded, «Do it. It’s ok.» What a shame???

*UPDATE* This subway continues to prove just how pathetic it really is. I went in, again(reluctantly) on my way home and the employee, Minerva who was making my sandwich started off my ignoring me for about 4 mins. Then she started making my sandwich, that had chicken in it. The tray of chicken had about 4 pieces left on it and instead of putting it on my sub, she proceeds to throw it away. Absolute BS, then while putting veggies on my sub she puts enough onions for a mouse. I specifically said«lots of pickles please» multiple times. After which she proceeds to put 4 pickles(literally 4 I counted) on my sub. I asked again«can I have more pickles» she then adds 2 pickles, bringing the total up to a whopping 6. I asked again«more pickles please», and at that point she says the most RIDICULOUS thing I have ever heard. She says to me «If I add anymore pickles I will have to charge you EXTRA for more pickles». I mean honestly, an extra charge for pickles. This is definitely the most pathetic, stingy, cheap subway out there. Save your money, and save yourself from having to eat the half-ass’d sandwiches and go somewhere else. This new owner is a useless person. *ORIGINALREVIEW* Absolutely horrible. The food is just like any other subway, but the customer service and preparation is TERRIBLE. It seems the new owner has the employees be EXTREMELY stingy with the ingredients. Seriously, the amount of chicken put on the sandwich is disgraceful. I used to ask for double cheese, but now I don’t because these idiots put barely ½ cheese and then charge for double cheese. When I contest the charge, they give me attitude saying«that was double cheese, you said double cheese» so essentially I get ripped off for less cheese than normal, and yet pay for double cheese. The employees clearly cannot assemble the sandwiches properly because I constantly find myself eating half the sandwich off the plate. I wouldn’t recommend this location to ANYONE. Take my advice and go to ANYOTHER subway. Literally the only reason I go here is because its down the street from my house and there isn’t one closer. Terrible, terrible, terrible, thats all I can say.

On occasion I run into Subway restaurants that seem to follow different«rules». We had a miscommunication already, and I was fine with that. I didn’t want them to toast one of the sandwiches, and usually they ask if you want it toasted. Not this subway, they put everything in the toaster. So, one of the sandwiches just turned into an oily mess. I used so many napkins to pat out the oil from the pepperoni and cheese. They also are skimpy on items you put on the sandwiches too. Unless you ask, they won’t put anymore. Then I realized they charge you extra for certain items to put on your sandwich. One of them was $ 0.40 for extra cheese, and we didn’t even get anything else on our sandwich. I thought that was rather ridiculous. Maybe if we loaded our sandwich with other things on it, being charged would have been more understanding. It was a sandwich with salami and pepperoni with cheese. I now see that it says it on the menu on top that it is extra for cheese, but it would be nice for you to say it cost extra. I don’t always read the menu, and other places will verbally tell you it cost extra. I went here because we were coming home a different way and saw Subway. I regret not going to regular Subway I go to. The regular Subway I go to, the staff is much more friendlier, and they do not talk to each other in front of you in a different language. It’s called customer service, please focus on your customers, and chat later with your co-worker when there isn’t any customers or when you done serving your customers. Maybe they should go to the Tantau Subway, and you can learn from them.

Absolutely horrible is correct. Stingy cheating your customers. Making the sandwich as if nothing is inside it. Great business plan. New owner has failed. Try the other Subways!!! Gets 2 stars due to location by Safeway and a Pure Water.

The new owner TK has excellent customer service! He was very welcoming to my son and I, asked how our meal was and gave my son a cookie. Didn’t like this place much before but hopefully with the new owner it will be a lot better!(This was saved in my drafts from last year so thought I’d post!)

The breakfast breads may be leftovers from previous night. Italian breads are always unavailable early morning. We had to find another branch for my high schoolers to take out breakfast. I wish they will improve because it’s location is very close to schools.

The manager was extremely rude as was the tall gangly caucasian associate. Went in there with my sig other, on bikes. its a small location but there was a father and son in there that was it!!! No lines or anything! Asked if we could bring our small bikes in & the associate sarcastically answers«you can put them outside.» My guy says«obviously watch the attitude» The owner mentions we can’t be blocking the seats… there is one booth which we wanted to sit in and the old coot was sitting in the other with his laptop open on facebook!!! He was taking up a booth and table himself. So after him getting bothered we left. never coming here again, the owner needs to get shut down. Does not know how to treat people & that tall gangly associate is lucky my man is not a ghetto thug!(:

I don’t usually write reviews on Unilocal(this is a first, actually), but: a) I spilled a drink and feel bad. b) They mentioned their Unilocal rating was terrible, which I don’t really understand. Anyways, I come here way too much… power outlet + free wifi + reasonably priced, reasonably good food such a short distance away from my house is often hard to resist. The food isn’t exactly extraordinary(it tastes like Subway), but the service is great! They manage to put up with my rude requests to add extra vegetables and don’t seem to get bothered by the fact that I usually try to get some work done after I finish my food. Manager/owner(korean guy) can come off as somewhat eccentric(read: rude), but is actually a really nice guy. - Bottomline? It’s a Subway. Free wifi, good service. It’s not that hard to ask for more napkins.

I have no idea why this subway has such a low rating. I come here very often: the service, food, and environment deserves an A. Most of the sandwiches are made very quickly, except for those cases when there is a new employee, which is understandable. The dining area is always very clean, and I see employees constantly cleaning up after customers. My friend once spilled a drink, and in a flash, an employee popped out of nowhere to clean it up! The walls are decorated with vivid pictures that will never bore customers. In addition, the veggies are always fresh and clean. Shoutout to Sam and Juan for being such friendly workers!

Quick note: You will ALWAYS get only one napkin when you order your sandwich, so ask for more napkins, because you and I both know that most sandwiches fall apart. Better advice: Save yourself and do not come to this Subway. Since my family lives very near, I have stopped by this location a few times. All of the times, I’ve received the worst customer service in the world. Here’s what happened: I walk into the store, there is absolutely no line and I am standing there thinking about what to order. The manager looks at me like I’m half retarded and asks: «You’ve never been to Subway before?» Wording and tone is everything… I already feel kinda«wtf.» He ends up making my sandwich super slow with minimal ingredients. I could definitely count the number of lettuce shreds being put into my sandwich. Conclusion: Terrible management with absolutely no regard to customer service. Inside this Subway, you may find yourself wondering if you have gone invisible. Be rest assured, you are still there. Go around the corner to Mango Garden and eat a good lunch /dinner with the best service.

Been having lunch here for probably 5 years. For the past 2 years under new management, the customer service has been HORRIBLE! The 2 girls that work here have absolutely no personality at all! I’ve tried talking, cracking jokes asking questions… not a smirk, a smile, nada! Kinda sad cause I’m there all the time and they still ask what kind of veggies I want, really!?! Good customer service, you should know by now. Talk to your customers and maybe try to pretend you like what your doing. Peace out! Hope management reads this :) Sandwiches are delish! Customer service, Salty!

Retarded customer service just plain irks me. Was standing behind this other customer waiting for service for about 3 minutes as there was only one person making sandwiches. This other older Subway lady walks out from the back, barely gives me any eye contact, and then chooses to call out and start helping the other lady customer waiting behind me. WTF?! At first I was completely confused since I thought the person behind me had some special order and that’s why she was being helped first. No, this dumb retarded Subway worker just decided to skip me for no reason. Even the other young Subway sandwich maker gave me a «I don’t know w-t-f just happened» look. At this point I’m pissed and then call out what a stupid retard the other worker was. Luckily the manager came over and apologized a couple of times and made my sandwich for me. Bottom line: Subway $ 5 footlong good deal, retarded worker horrible. If you get the older dark-skinned lady, make sure you protect your place in line because she will screw you. 2.5 stars only because the manager was nice and apologetic.

Location is hidden on the Miller side of the road instead of Bollinger, next to Tong Dumpling Pot(great place for chinese dumplings). Place is owned by a female Indian who looks at you with indifference and worked by several high school kids. I’ve been here several times for the past four years but this review is based off of my experience on 10⁄24(Wednesday) Service: Quick, but I really disliked the look on the manager’s face when she was making my sandwich it was as if she had better things to do. Heard the women behind me ask for Ham and she said they were out… Food: Well it’s Subway, they usually don’t give you too much filling in the sandwiches but for some reason I think this particular place decides to give you even less, I could be wrong of course. Only reason I’d come again is if I was feeling lazy and didn’t want to make the trip to Quiznos, this sub shop is extremely close to home.
