I would give this place a negative star if I could. WORST customer service I’ve ever seen. I would file a corporate complaint but they said they were closing the business soon. Serves them right for having the horrible attitude towards their customers. Togo will be my next best friend. Goodbye from a once loyal customer!

one of the worst service I’ve ever had. Before I could even put in my order I was repeatedly rushed multiple times. when my family decided to leave the owner harassed us and even called security. if you love horrible service feel free to stop by this subway. haha

I just had a very horrible experience here(as you can see from other people’s review here) First of all they charge more than other subways for same item And when I asked for more than 2 Napkins the lady said it’s only 2 napkins per foot long. How ridiculous ? Also when she was putting veggies on the sub she was putting so little as if I am asking the sub for free. Very horrible place. But since it’s in Vallco Mall not many options are there

This is the only restaurant I’ve been to that doesn’t provide complimentary water. So much for Subway claiming to be the healthy restaurant(clearly $$ trumps public health … they will certainly sell you a bottle of water)!!! They will give you a cup, but won’t actually fill it with water. They are at the location farthest from the bathroom in the pathetic food court at Vallco, yet they make you walk to the drinking fountain near the restrooms to go fill your own water cup. Ridiculous!!! Never again, Subway!!!

This place is horrible. owner is so cheap and rude(as well as his employees). If you ask for a cup of water they just simply say that the water fountain is next to the restroom!!! i asked for some extra olives on my sandwich and they put 4 olives on my sandwich. she was counting them! unbelievable!!! wish i could give them less than 1 star, they don’t even deserve that. I DONOTRECOMMENDTHISPLACE!

Just ate here. Subway is Subway, but service is unethical here. Subway has a promotion this month for $ 26 inch meatball or cold cut trio subs. I order a 6 inch cold cut, and hand my credit card to pay. I notice when I get my receipt that they charged me to $ 4.35. When I ask about the promotion, the lady told me that they only do that if you tell them when you order the sandwich. The manager is sitting right next to her and asks what the problem is. She tells him and he says well return it to him. She explains she already charged the card, so he tells me that they are exempt since the are a mall store and don’t have to honor the promotion. Right after he told his employee to honor it! So shady.

I’m a little bit happier. The employees have changed their personality around completely. Nice staff. Except for the lady who wears the black shirt

I enjoy the service here — that’s why I keep coming back each time I roam this particular mall. I work in the area and the this mall is a lot less crowded than Valley Fair or Santana Row(which is within a few miles from here). Reyna knows my face and each time she recognizes me she already knows what I’ll order. She looks, she giggles, and then she starts prepping my pepperoni flattiza with swift expertise. friendly faces

I had a similar experience to one of the tippers below. The service was terrible. When I asked for olives, they gave me onions. I clarified the difference by pointing and the employee begrudgingly removed the onions as though it was my fault. She sprinkled on about six chopped olive pieces and told me they’d have to charge me for more than that. Same with the spinach. Four pieces. I asked for water, and they said they don’t give anything but bottled. Since I know they have a sink, and cups for soda, this is pretty sketchy. And also illegal by California state law, especially since I was a paying customer. Food quality was standard, but I got a lot less of everything. Unfortunately there isn’t much choice in this food court so I can’t say I’ll never return, but I won’t be happy about it.

I currently work in the Valco mall and have come to this subway a few times for my lunch break. My experiences here have been half good and the other half terrible. One of those terrible times consisted of the employee managing to burn my sandwich in the oven and the having the audacity to try and sell me a burned black sandwich. When I asked the lady politely to make me a new sandwich she rolled her eyes multiple times and proceeded to make my new sandwich with some attitude. You have no reason to be a rude lady, you were the one who burne the sandwich in the first place. SMH

Well, it appears that I am in the minority… I work in the mall so I come here a lot, since there’s no where else. I really haven’t had much of a problem with this subway. The employees are always nice to me, and are pretty quick. I wouldn’t eat the mayonnaise from here, since it always seems like it’s been sitting out, but other than that, I like it! Don’t know why it has so many bad comments…

The owner of this subway is so rude! I tried to use a coupon that I was sent in the mail and was totally ripped off by the manager because he said that the coupon doesn’t apply to one of the meals(which it totally did, he didn’t even read what was written on the coupon). He was very condescending and rude. Do not recommend this place Horrible customer service

This location is the best! I have gone to very fancy restaurants that didn’t treat me this good. The Manager and the team treat me like a VIP. They make my sandwich perfect every time and treat me as if I was one of their best friends. Josefina, Adriana and Renya suggested I purchase a gift card, since I eat there twice a day. Great idea that earned me 2 free six inch subs… Thank you mucho. I have never been treated rudely or felt they were rude to any of their other customers. Every time I go they look like they’re having a blast, always smiling and laughing with the customers. Josefina used to ask me the same question, «how do you like your sandwich?»(which is not rude) before she memorized my sandwich, now she simply says«6 inch or foot long?» she has a little bit of a language barrier, but I feel she is one of their best. Every person’s experience is different, but in my opinion This team is like no other… seriously, I love them. go to subway in vallco… you get star treatment… every time.

They charge sales tax on both cooked and uncooked subs. Uncooked subs usually aren’t subject to sales tax. They said it was a mall rule, which seems untrue because other food vendors don’t charge. Same comment about the water. Seriously: smile(or not), fill a courtesy cup, and encourage them to come back to this empty shell of a mall. If people want to buy a drink, they’ll buy a drink. If not, consider the water a marketing cost. Oh, and about the rude worker named in the other review. She’s the reason I’d rather overpay at the Burger King 50 feet away. I’ve «met» her a few times and — to be polite — she seems very secure in her job for a person who’s not good at it.

Josephina is so rude. I only ordered a salad, and asked for just veggies. The amount of spinach they put in the salad is so scant. I asked for a bit more and she grabbed 3 whole leaves. Yes. That’s exactly what I wanted, thanks. Not. And instead of waiting to hear everything I wanted in the salad, she went single veggies at a time. She had to refill 2 of the containers of the items I wanted and I stead of refilling both at the same time, she did it separately and then acted like I was wasting her time. No one was behind me. I wasn’t holding anyone up. It’s not my fault she’s inefficient. I paid and instead of handing me back my card, she put it on the counter right in front of HER. Which(from working in the food industry) is the passive aggressive way of just being a flat out bitch. I won’t come back and discourage you not to go at all.

Not only are these people morons, they’re rude. «What would you like on your sandwich?» «Could I get the lite mayonase on first before my toppings?» (He gets the mayo and puts on enough for 3 sandwiches) Once my sandwich is good and caked with mayo, I point to the spinach and tell them«Next, I’d like spinach…» He responded to with«Lettuce?» “No lettuce please, spinach” «Yeah, but do you want lettuce?» «No, spinach» «Lettuce?»(This time much louder) I finally had to ask him why there was some reason he was refusing to put spinach on the sandwich, to which he replied«YOUARENOTFOLLOWINGPROCESS! I ASKYOUIFYOUWANTLETTUCEANDYOUSAYYESORNO!!!» So, let me get this straigh… Me telling you the 3 things I want on my sandwich is slower than you pointing to every single topping you offer and asking me yes or no? Seriously? Your process sucks, and it’s not like that at ANYOTHERSUBWAY I’VEEVERBEENTOONTHESURFACEOFPLANETEARTH. Good luck with your failing business. You’ve earned it.

Before watching a movie at the Cupertino AMC, my friend and I rushed to the food court to grab a quick lunch to go to eat during the movie. It’s been decades since I’ve been on this side of the mall, and had no idea there was even a food court near JC Penney. There were quite a few people in line, so the line moved slowly but surely. But they put tons of meat in my spicy italian, that I almost wanted to stop her from putting in more! So not sure why people say they skimp no the meat. I did have to ask for more veggies though. Got a combo with a bottled soda and chips, and it seemed like he charged me for the regular price as a fountain soda, so that was pretty nice of him. Didn’t get food poisoning so I must’ve been lucky compared to the past customers.

I dunno. I didn’t get food poisoning, maybe I should bump it up a star? I ended up buying a sandwich from Subway instead of 360 burrito since one look at their back area made me cringe. The sandwich bread was dried out and there was almost no meat. In fact there was probably more lettuce than turkey in the entirety of the sandwich. I didn’t get sick, so two stars.

I work in the mall so when I heard subway was opening I was very excited. My excitement quickly dissipated when I got a chance to talk to the manager. He was very rude and tried to make me buy a drink instead of giving me a cup of water. He said there’s water fountains near the bathroom but they don’t even work! I talked to the workers and they said the reason they don’t serve water or only give an employee discount unless you purchase a meal is because it was the managers orders. Also if you like to have your sandwich not toasted, you are still charged 5.46 for a regular footlong. I know some subways within Cupertino will only charge you 5.00. Due to the management of this subway I eat only at Chiarmontes who are friendly, give large portions, and actually give me a mall discount. Sometimes I eat at subway when the manager is not working though.
