This review is just for the fat lady in the apron. So rude! If you don’t like your job why don’t you work somewhere else but no need to be rude to the customers!

Vallco is on it’s death kneel as of June 2014, and is in dire need of rejuvenation. With the pending presence of APPLE in the neighborhood, there’s a solid opportunity for this mall to reinvent itself, get a facelift and emerge as a top notch place to go. Currently, if you go to Vallco, there’s a half dozen options in the Food Court, a Mexican, a Japanese, 2 other ethnic spots, a Subway Sandwiches and a Burger King. Burger King is okay, it’s good for the area and a solid option, offering known quality and a good value. Parking is easy, ‘tho the cornerstone of the mall is the AMC movie theater, so it can be slightly difficult to find parking, but not hard at all if you look.

Service was slow and they forgot to give me the sauce for the nuggets. I had to ask for it. They were very disorganized. The nuggets were meh.

The food court at Vallco is just like the rest of this sad mall… lots of spaces with a few survivors. BK and Subway are two places that we go to. There’s a Teriyaki place, a Veggie place, and that’s pretty much it. It’s totally sad. I went to the Teriyaki place once and it was not a good experience, so have never been back. BK is good, predictable food and my kid eats pretty much all of what I order so this always wins.

I adore their onion rings with their zesty sauce. It’s fairly quiet since this BK is located inside of Vallco Mall.

Ordered breakfast and it took 15 min. The lady working did not seem to know what she was doing. Food tasted okay.

After hearing for weeks on the radio station that the new food court was open at Vallco, we decided to give it a try. On Friday night 19 December 2008 my friend and I went there. We decided to try their new steak sandwiches. He ordered the Loaded One and I the Mushroom and Swiss both as combo meals. The guy at the registered, who from what we could tell had a hard time understanding English, or at least comprehending what we wanted to ordered because he keep ringing us up for thing that were much cheaper than what they should of been. I also ordered their cheesy potatoes. We were able to watch the lady make our food, our steak patties went into the microwave to be cooked, I guess they do not flame-broil the meat anymore there. Then she started preparing the buns, and it was as if she didn’t know what she was doing. At first she was putting American cheese on it verses Swiss cheese, and little things like that, all in all we ordered at 9:39 pm and got our food at 9:57 pm. They gave me chicken fry’s instead of cheesy potatoes, so either the guy didn’t understand me, or he didn’t know how to ring them up. I did on Saturday call to find out if it was a Corporate or Franchisee store, and the gentleman who answered the phone said he was the Franchisee owner. I did explain to him what happened, he seemed to be interested, and was offering me a free meal in return. I am rating this store a one still as this is a chain restaurant, the layout and preparation designed by the main company allows for this to be for perfect service with no mistakes. They couldn’t even get the order right, and used a microwave to cook the meat, if you are going to do that, at least do it so the customer can’t see it!
