Surf City Squeeze

They have the worst customer service out of any beverage place I’ve ever been to, but man, these rude teenagers know how to make a smoothie!!! I can’t get enough of their orange, pineapple, coconut smoothie! It is worth every penny.
Not only does it have the perfect smoothie consistency, but it’s also creamy like ice cream, and full of coconutty surprises in each sip

So far I have not been impressed with Surf City Squeeze. I got mango milk tea with pearls there recently and it was rather unappetizing. The worst pearl milk tea I have had. I was really craving tea with pearls and was extremely disappointed and even considered throwing it out after the first sip.
I also got a smoothie maybe a year or so back and I can faintly remember being disappointed then as well. I will be giving Surf City one more shot for a smoothie, but the odds aren’t looking good.
If you want decent pearl tea at the mall-​go to Quickly.

I always saw this spot when I went to the movies but never really gave them a try. My boyfriend decided to get one and we’ve been going ever since. I love the blueberry pineapple smoothie. Soo delicous. I wish they had more locations!

I ALWAYS stop by Surf City Squeeze whenever I’m at the Eastridge Mall.
Bigger-​than-​normal Large cups, and their smoothies/​bubbles teas always have the right mixture and texture.

Their large drinks are about $ 5 and yes they mean it when they say large! Totally worth it. Service is always friendly and quick. The only con is that there is a charge when using your debit/​credit card, so it’s best to have cash on you. Otherwise they make great smoothies :)

Average smoothies at best. I’ve been here many times and brought smoothies into the movie theaters (I try to not drink soda).
Mango Tango — pretty good in small quantities. It doesn’t seem to have real mangos in it. I saw them put only a small amount, the rest is juice and ice. Average.
Pina Colada — tasty, but again lacking the real fruit freshness.
Strawberry Banana — their best flavor, though you can’t really mess it up.
Come here for a simple smoothie, but I still prefer Jamba’s real fruit and sherbert over Surf City powder and concentrate.

Whenever I am eastridge mall, I always have to pass by Surf City to get a drink from this place. This is located in the food court in East Ridge mall, right across the AMC movie theatres. Which is convenient, when I want to sneak in a drink before I watch a movie.
The usual drink that me and my BFF have been ordering for over 10 years, is the cookies and crème. It’s yummy! I think Surf City puts in some special distinct taste or powder? because when I try to duplicate cookies and cremes drinks at home, it’s not the same.
One day, I searched on the net, what makes their drinks so special, I found they have this special mixture, and I think you can order it online. I’ve ordered and have a can at home and tried to duplicate the drinks and they are pretty close. I don’t have the shaved ice they use, so that might be the difference. This is better then no Surf CIty Cookies N Crème drink!
Anyways, I still love these drinks and I crave for these drinks here. They have many selections in drinks and I think you can add pearls too.

I like SCS but I far from love them. They do make some pretty decent drinks however they almost melt instantly after they’re made. The other thing I don’t like is their serving size is really small. Like almost dixie-​like. A coworker of mine told me down in SoCal SCS is a bit hit. Well too bad fella, up here we are Jamba Juice people and we like our drinks large and long lasting.

Sury City has the BEST smoothies ever!!! I always have to get a smoothie there whenever I pass one of their stands. I would only recommend their smoothies though if you like super sweet smoothies since they use condensed milk. I’ve only gotten the strawberry banana smoothie but I love it so much that I kind of don’t want to try another kind! I’m sure all of their smoothies are excellent though!
