I regret trying this place out 2 rolls tasted nasty. Fish tasted old. Really disappointed. I could not finish the roll. It almost taste as good as the rolls you buy from grocery stores… I should have known better. Victoria secret and crispy shrimp were disgusting…

Since changing owners they’d be lost a lot of charm. The quality of the fish as well as service has gone down. The server couldn’t be less helpful and«my bad» isn’t a valid excuse. My tea was like warm and the cup tasted of bleach.

Here on Sat night. A bit of a wait. Sit down and find out the sushi boats are running but with no sushi on them. They are all menus, figurines and stuff… Pretty good services though.

There was one guy who was really good waiter, but there was a lady, who wasn’t really that great and wasn’t really paying attention. The dishes weren’t really clean up the dishes. The sushi tasted pretty good, but the sushi was really inconsistent, you would get a lot of cream cheese in one and then barely any in the other piece.

First off, excellent service. The waiter(Noël) made sure we were good to go with our beverages and food periodically throughout the night without having the«stalker» feeling. Food was excellent. Great beer selection(the lucky Buddha has a great bottle) and the sushi was fresh.

This place is under new management I stopped by here for lunch and my server«noel» suggested I try the Poki bowl. The food was good and service was fast.

Great sushi & great atmosphere, especially with the staff. They changed their menu too. A lot more choices and new rolls. The boat is $ 2 a plate now which is awesome. Noël is the best server ! :)

Took a break from Christmas shopping to stop and have some sushi. Lucky for us we were seated right away by the friendly staff. When we get to the sushi boat bar, they informed us that they are no longer using the boats for the«quick sushi» on the conveyer for the night. Which we didn’t have a problem with but it kinda takes away from the whole experience. They have new menus now with new rolls and even poke bowls. Beer drinkers: They serve Lucky Buddha now. I’ve never ordered from the menu here before until my last visit. The rolls that are rolled fresh are actually bigger than expected. Generous portions of fish placed inside and on top of rolls as well. They had the Warriors game playing so that was a plus. We planned to watch it at the restaurant’s bar next door after we finished eating but we were glad since we were so stuffed from the beer and sushi. The manager asked every party if the volume from the TV was bothering them, as he was willing to turn it down. Everyone seemed to be paying attention to it before they even turned it up anyway. Since the last time I’ve been here it seems like they hired a whole different staff except for the sushi chef. They were all very helpful and courteous, and their attitudes really complimented the restaurant. With the changes made to this place I recommend newcomers to disregard the old reviews and give it a try. This place deserves more credit than two stars.

I have to say… even though it isn’t the best sushi place out there, it’s still a great quick stop for sushi if you’re on break from work or just need something to snack on for a little while. The bar is the perfect place to eat at because you can just grab a plate or more to fill up your stomach!

Went here on a Friday afternoon for lunch and sushi wasn’t fresh which I didn’t complain because you get what you pay for for 1.98 sushi. Although, my boyfriend decided to order straight from the menu and when he got his order after two bites there was a bug in the food! Needless to say we left! I recommend this place not to keep their doors open!!! Especially when food is that accessible to bugs that fly! I expected a lot from this place because I love sushi.

For a quick bite to eat this is a good place. $ 1.98 sushi boat. Can’t beat that. A good alternative to mall food. Service was great.

They just started last Monday this 99 cent all sushi on the boat. They come in pairs so it’s 1.98 but there are a lot of selections. No more imitation crab meat. The rolls were filled with spicy tuna and Hamachi and cream cheese and salmon. Definitely recommend to anyone to try. Oh! The owner Jonathan got really creative and made a word search wall so me and my friends spent our time finding the words b

New management. New menu. New interior. So, some rolls to definitely check out is the Two thumbs up! It’s a humungous roll for a not so expensive price like that compared to the other places in the area. They took all the food off the boats and make everything fresh to order. Cool!

Americanized sushi. We came in for lunch and were asked if we wanted to sit at the bar. We said yes, and I guess since we were sitting at the bar, the waitress did not think she needed to bother asking if we wanted to see a regular menu to order any rolls or sashimi. This was the first time that I have been to a sushi restaurant where there wasn’t a single piece of tuna in sight! Just lots of fake crab and mayonnaise. The sushi floating by on the boat were either fried or a version or california roll or philly roll. There was a chef behind the counter, but he never asked us either if we wanted to order any special items. There were fewer than 5 customers there and he didn’t seem all that busy. We took 2 salmon nigiris and called it a day. Prices were not outrageous but the quality of sushi is not worth it. They do offer 40% off deal on Mondays, but I don’t see coming back here.

We always check for Unilocal reviews before eating at any restaurant, I guess we were hungry because we didn’t check, big mistake! Service was ok but food was horrible, I don’t usually give bad reviews but this was awful! Everything was cold, old and tasteless, my wife loves Ikura but here was very old, smelly and tasted bad, we told our server and they didn’t do anything, we asked for the check and they charged us for it even when we didn’t eat it and told them right away that it smelled BAD Never, never, never(did I say never??) coming back… $ 25 bucks to the trash!!!

Sushi is good but they are TINY rolls. Service is bad. Waiters take forever. I ordered the bento box with Salmon Teriyaki and it was ok. Nothing great. Just a 5 out of 10. But If you come here just for sushi because of the tiny size of the rolls the bill adds up.

Not as good as it use to be. Quality of their food is bad. Grilled Mackerel was tuff like it was frozen. I was served sushi on a dirty platter. I won’t ever go back and hope that others see this and don’t try it. They are expensive… go a couple minutes down the street to Ariake Sushi.

This was not awful, it just wasn’t great either. It was pretty much what I expected. I went for lunch on a Friday and sat at the bar. It was my first time at a sushi boat type place. I’ve heard about them and thought it might be cool but it just made me feel squeamish. Premade rolls and sushi and wrapped in plastic and floating around the bar waiting to be selected and eaten. All I could think was«How long have those been there?» «That avocado looks a little brown.» «It doesn’t feel cold enough for those to be at a safe temperature.» Needless to say, I didn’t eat any of the floating fish. I had miso soup and a roll and it was fine. Nothing special. I think with sushi it’s best to stay with the mid to higher end restaurants. Service was good and friendly. I was out the door for $ 17 with tip.

This place is terrible! Bad service bad food! I asked the server to bring us a couple of forks since some of us didn’t know how to eat rice with chopsticks, she gave us a cheap plastic forks!!! Bottom line, don’t wast your money here as I said bad food and bad service I wish I could do no star…

Im a sushi lover but this place deserves no stars. Worst sushi place and bad service. Waited 20+ min just for a check when only our table was occupied at 7ish PM. Ingredients they used on sushi were stale, old, and smelly. Left me a bad after taste when I choked down the sashimi. Not coming back!
