Best tortas ahogadas in town! and the barbacoa tacos are delicious! I highly recommend!

I was introduced to this place by my bf when it was a taco stand. One day we drove by and there was construction where the taco stand was set up, so we drove around the neighborhood in attempts to find it. Then we noticed the sign that they moved and we went to find it. it’s off the 101, alum rock.
It is taco heaven. Delicious delicious tacos. The tacos come with with the soft fluffy tortillas (they can be crunchy if you request it), meat of your choice, grilled onions and jalapeño. Then you can add; fresh diced onions, cilantro, green sauce, red hot sauce, radishes, annnnnd a new avocado sauce (I think it’s that).
The owner is always there working and is very kind. The place is usually clean. When it’s busy, parking can be a pain in that plaza.
The only downside of this place is that the construction around the area… it made the shop hard to find and creates uncertainty if the shop is even opened because the construction blocks
the way…

Absolutley what you need after hours especially after a couple of drinks. The El Pastor taco’s are absolutely delicious and hit’s the spot! My wife had the chicken and the Lengua and I have to admit i was gaurding my plate with my arm and not in a sharing mood. I will definately be back!
