Not too bad — they could have put out some chai for what they charge.

One of the best restaurants for north indian food! Not too oily and you can actually taste the spices! Quick service too!

We ordered carry out from here, and while the food tastes good, it was very expensive for what we received. For $ 35, we got an average sized bowl of butter chicken and and average size bowl of yellow curry chicken. No rice or naan is included with the main entrée. We won’t be ordering from The Mynt again.

This is my new favorite Indian restaurant. Amazing, complex flavors, not overly hot-spicy, great variety in menu and lunch buffet. Excellent saag paneer, navrattan korma, benghan bartha, delicious lassi. The ambience is lovely: quiet, clean, elegant.

Food: samosas, chicken tikka masala, aloo gobi, rice, plain naan. I liked everything except the samosas and agree with other Unilocalers that they were small and the texture of the wrapper seemed hard and from frozen so I would not order those again. I really liked the CTM and what made it different than other places was that the chicken seemed to have been cooked first with a nice char on it, then cooked it the sauce. It gave it another level of texture and flavor that I thought was elevated and will definitely be back to order this. Ambiance: very nice and seemed on the same level as Amber India. Table cloths, candles, dark wood floors. They also had a lovely glassed off private room that looked very elegant and classy. Good for a small company dinner or party.

Ordered the chicken masala with rice and garlic naan. The garlic naan was lackluster and didn’t have enough flavor. The chicken was very tough, likely overcooked from sitting around in the sauce over heat too long. I know these types of dishes are probably prepared in bulk but they should prepare smaller batches. The flavor of the dish was great and the rice was amazing. For high price I expected far better. I have had better at a $ 10 buffet sadly. I doubt I return unless the prices drop drastically. I think my meal was somewhere around $ 25.

Really good lunch buffet! Everything was fresh and tasty… also really like that the place was nice and bright inside unlike a lot of Indian places that seem to be very dark… Only semi negative was the Naan .didn’t seem as fresh and wasn’t very warm. Would definitely go back again for the lunch buffet.

I’m new to the area and have passed the place several times. I decided to try it at lunch because they have a buffet and you can try a variety of things to get a good idea of what their food is like. I’m so happy I tried this place. The service is prompt and polite. The food is amazing!!! Just the right amount of spice. I don’t like my stuff so spicy hot that I can’t taste the other flavors they achieved just the right balance. The naan was light and not to doughy. Even the chai tea with spiced perfectly I could still taste the tea it wasn’t overwhelmed by spices. Then to top it all off the chef was out at the buffet and I happen to mention how much I loved the little dessert gulab jamun?(sp) so he sent some out to me. Can’t wait to come back for dinner

Mynt is one of those nice Indian places where food is mostly geared towards western palates. Spices are pretty balanced but sometimes leaning towards very mild level. That said they have got some fancy starters. Salmon tikka is yummy and so is amritsari fish. The biryanis are really to die for. Over all the service is good and the place is worth several visits.

When you’re looking for fragrant Indian food, look no further. Mynt, in Saratoga, serves delicious Indian dishes to make any mouth water. Their chicken and veggie dishes never disappoint. My favorite bread here is their assorted basket which comes with onion kulchas, aloo naan, and plain naan. The fluffy bread is exactly what you need to wipe the dal off your plate. Mynt now offers champagne brunch on the weekends!

This place has one of the best buffets in the Bay Area. It has a wide spread of food with variety of starters, main course dishers for both vegetarians and non Vegetarians. Desserts were amazing as well. Ambience is good as well. A lunch buffet comes around $ 17 which is decent as per the quality of food and ambience of the place.

Very good food, but EVERYTHING takes forever. Like… forever. More naan.20 minutes. Dining hall was only half full. Forever.

Ever since all the Tandoori Oven’s closed down I really have had no idea where else to go for good Indian food. At least not close to my home… apparently this restaurant has been here for ages?! My sisters suggested it for a family meal a few nights ago. We had a group of 7 so they sat us in the front room pretty much by ourselves. It was a little annoying how long it took them to finally bring us water and take our order. I think they forgot about us since we were separated from everyone else. We got garlic naan, chicken tikka masala, butter chicken, awadhi biryani with chicken, shaam severa kofta. It was more than enough for all of us and we went home with leftovers. Let me just say the food is so good that I can’t wait to go back. I’m going to take my mom to the lunch buffet even though it is overpriced so we can try a lot more different items! Everything had a ton of flavor and the only thing I thought was lame was the biryani had whole chicken drumsticks which made it a bit hard to eat and scoop out of the serving bowl too. We ended up ordering extra garlic naan — it was probably the best naan I’ve ever had and I’ve had my fair share of naan. My clothes did smell like Indian food after but luckily I have a Swash machine and it got the smell out quick haha!

I haven’t been back in a while, but I have to say, the quality and flavors of the dishes have changed, and not for the better. Used to be, one could order off the menu or choose the buffet on Sunday; now, the buffet is the only option, and it’s expensive($ 16) In fact, I grabbed a menu before being seated and noticed that all of their prices have gone up. The butter chicken is one of my favorites, but the chicken was dry. The goat curry had large chunks of really fatty goat, so I didn’t eat much of that. The naan was extremely bland, and the chicken biryani was dry and contained hardly any chicken. We were there early, so I was surprised that all of the dishes were also merely ‘warm.‘ The service is still great, and the complimentary mimosa was a nice touch, but the Mynt is no longer my go-to place for awesome Indian food.

Really good indian place have been here twice during their buffet .it’s amazing everything tastes really good and very close to I have had back home. service was really good too the only thing I would want them to work on is to serve the food hot or slightly warmer especially buffet. warm food would taste 10x better but overall It’s a great find .I’m vegan and my husband is not so we both get best of both worlds here :)

We had Friday night dinner at Mynt. It was overall good experience. The server was courteous and food was delicious. We ordered fish curry and goat biryani. I am taking 1 star off because of following two things 1) when asked about how much tangy /sour the fish curry is, as it includes tamarind, server said he is not sure. He did not bother to ask the chef. 2) goat biryani was very delicious but goat was very chewy, not properly cooked.

Loved the lunch buffet! Try to go during Mon– Thur when its a little cheaper and it will be definitely worth your money and stomach. They had a great variety including some vegetarian dishes, but for some reason was quite addicted to their saag. Enjoyed their butter chicken, tandoori chicken, salads, sauces… almost everything was on point. I think the things I didn’t enjoy were just too new for my tastebuds. Naan also served with your buffet. Service was superb, timely, and anticipated our needs(including water refills without asking!). Takes card, has a parking lot. Would definitely come back for delicious food.

Good lunch buffet with complimentary mimosas on the weekends. Loved the naan; it was light, soft, and crispy. There was a nice spice level to the chicken curry and butter chicken and the saffron rice was yummy. We went early so the food looked fresh and we certainly had no big complaints. Overall, the Mynt is pretty good. The service was very nice and our water glasses were never empty for long. For the price, the buffet had limited options but what they had was good. If I took anything away from my experience, it would be that I really like their naan.
