The UPS Store

Well I’m here right now on a Saturday morning because I needed to get some things laminated. Website says it opens at 9am so got here at 9am only to find out it really opens at 10am. So I come back at 10:05am and still not opened…
But once it finally opened (10:10am) the guy got my stuff laminated pretty quick.

Always greeted with a smile and asked how I’m doing today. They are helpful and efficient and will make sure you have everything you need. Receipts are given for all packages dropped off and they accept USPS packages.

I come here so often that they recognize me. Kind of embarrassing how much stuff I return. o_​o
I prefer this UPS location over the Berryessa one because it’s clean, the service is very friendly and fast. They also took my USPS mail so I don’t have to go to two locations. One place to mail all my stuff! The only thing I don’t like is the parking. It can get pretty crowded during gym time.

Extremely bad service with client… From the manager to employees. They think they are high level but low income so they don’t need to respect their clients

Came in to drop off a package but was refused: «We charge $ 2 for drop-​off tape.»

I came in to deposit some checks for USAA. Most UPS Stores are set up are to accept it, but some do not. I don’t blame them for that, but it was the manner in which the employees acted that warranted the review. They were standing towards the back of the store talking. They didn’t greet me when I came in. When I said I needed to deposit some checks, they looked at me like I was stupid and responded «We don’t do deposit brah.» Call me old fashioned, but I think the appropriate response would’ve been «I’m sorry, sir, we don’t offer that service here. Let me find the closest store that does.»

Great customer service and easy to process orders. They have boxes of varying sizes and a retail space for office and shipping supplies. This will always be MY UPS store.

I came here a few times to drop off packages; the store is small but bright and clean.
The employees here are all very nice and friendly; they greeted me and assured me that the packages will be picked up the same day.

Not very friendly. They will try to charge you $ 2 for 6 inches of tape to seal a package. What tight wads

I needed to buy a box. The box is on display list the dimensions. However, they have more boxes in the back with different dimensions. The box is on display did not list any prices. So I had to ask the guy what other dimensions they have. It makes it kind of difficult because then you don’t know what those prices are on those boxes either and have to imagine the dimensions as he disappears to bring out the size you ask for. He looked on the price sheet to let me know which was cheaper for what I needed to pack.
The associate was not friendly but he was also not rude. Clean store overall. Three stars for A OK.

I came by here a few days ago to drop off 7 pre-​paid UPS packages and to mail one out.
Joe, the gentleman working that day, was friendly, professional, and helpful. He provided a receipt for all my packages as proof of drop off.
The one box I mailed out from here was 33% more expensive than if I had purchased the label online. $ 20 for a 4lb box via UPS ground from SJC to Utah. Online it was less than $ 15. I guess they have to make something to stay in business and for the convenience.
The parking in that wing of the shopping plaza can be limited with a gym right there.

This store is a rip off! I got my passport photos taken at the UPS store on 3^rd street in san jose (great store!) and paid $ 10.95 for the first set, and $ 5 for each additional set. My husband went to this Brokaw store, and they charged him $ 13.95 for the first set and $ 13.95 each for each of the next two sets– for a total of $ 45 (with tax). $ 45 for six 2″ by 2″ pictures– absurd! If you don’t want to be ripped off– AVOID this location! Go to the third street location– they are awesome.

Big mistake, I used UPS stores everywhere I lived, no problems, until I end up at this location.
There’s never parking available at this location, be ready to waste at least 15 minutes or more if you are picking up your email after work. But that doesn’t stop there, this is the kind of customer service you”ll get:
Me: Hi, I need to pick up me mail but I don’t remember my box number.
Associate: How am I supposed to know which one is your mailbox ?
Me: …how about you try searching in your system the same drivers license you asked when I signed my contract :-)
To makes things more painful (but this is my fault) I went not for 3 not for 6 but for a 12 months contract !!

Not sure why they are getting really good reviews and some really bad ones. I came into this store twice to drop off packages to be shipped out. On both occasions the clerk was very nice when I came in and offered a receipt with my package drop off. Both packages made it to their destination so I have no complaints.

I came here for their notary services and after specifically requesting the employee to sign and seal my form he insisted that he couldn’t and would do it on a separate piece of paper instead. He guaranteed that it would be acceptable so I paid the 10 $ and received the extra paper. I found out later my form was unacceptable the way the employee guaranteed it would be so I went back for a solution to my problem. I confronted the person there about the lies that were told to me and even though she admitted fault she still refused to compensate my for my wasted time and money. Someone should open up a business to compete with these idiots because I’m sure that whoever would, would also drive this business where it deserves to be, in the ground.

Very rude workers here. The lady working in the front was very rude and spoke foul language to me. You think I didn’t hear that? Better watch your language. You’re supposed to serve customers and treat them with respect regardless. I wanted to know how much is the shipping price and how is it calculated since it cost me $ 12.00 just to ship a small package… Ridiculous.

I had a good experience when I stopped in to mail a package. I noticed that they were understaffed, and was waiting in line for a bit, so I almost left. However, the girl running the store was eventually able to help the 3 of us at the same time by getting us set up with what we needed. She was very helpful and conscientious of the time people were spending in line. I had a good experience and will be back.

Do not do business with this store.
I opened up a P.O. Box with them over about 9 months ago for a 6 month term. Around November when my term was up one of the associates (Christine I believe) gave me a call to remind me I would need to renew my box. I told them at that time I did not want to renew as I was using the box for a business and that business was now closed. They said that was fine but I had until the next day if I changed my mind.
I did not change my mind but continued to receive calls from them regarding the box. I figured they wanted me to renew so I didn’t field the calls. My girlfriend, who is also an account holder on the box, spoke with them and they gave her no information as to why they were calling. I figured the box was closed out as I had some mail sent to the box afterwards and was returned to me undeliverable.
Fast forward to February: I get a call from the same associate. She said they needed my key and there were late fees on the box from December, January, and February. This information would have been nice in November when I said I was not going to renew. She denied talking to me in November (great customer service…) and that I would have to come in to drop off the key and pay the late charges. I told her I wouldn’t pay any late charges since I told you over the phone I wasn’t going to renew. Repeat this back and forth a few more times and she said her manager was going to call me the next day.
I thought the associate was rude, but this manager takes the cake. She immediately denies the store ever called me back in November and that they sent me numerous notices and calls. I received one email in November, which is when I spoke to them over the phone. My girlfriend (another account holder) spoke to them over the phone thereafter and they gave her no information about why they were calling. Next she THREATENS TO TAKE ME TO COLLECTIONS.
Very unprofessional location. The two ladies (associate and manager) working the P.O. Boxes are rude. Signing up was easy, but of course, when they’re taking your money. However, there was a guy that helped me there on another occasion and he seemed pretty cool. That’s about the only positive aspect I could see.

Joe the associate at the UPS Store was very patient … Some dude walked in and change his shipping method 3 times while cutting in line each time and finally after closing he bust the door open so hard I almost broke and demand a refund the same time he have pissed off just about everyone in that store. Joe The UPS associate in the office kept his cool and keep helping everyone well he manage these outrageous I’m grateful customer I just stand in line watching this happen try not to punch the guy out. Joe what’s the definition of customer service at its best

Very convenient if you’re out on your lunch break. It’s surrounded by some good grubs like Noah’s Bagels and Five Guys Burgers to mention a few.
The guy that was working there today was very personable and helpful. I love that This place offers you a one stop Shop kind of deal. From a mailbox if you need one to packaging materials and of course any type of mailing solutions.
