I love Mongolian grills and this place is really good. Love that it is unlimited. Always end up making mine too spicy and paying for it later. People need to try and use more sauce so they don’t get their noodles watered down. Lots of different things to put in your bowl. Don’t forget to take advantage of two bowls, one for noodles + sauce, and the other bowl for everything else + sauce.

Is disgusting. 2 out of the 3 times I have eaten here, I’ve walked out with the urge to puke and the worst of stomach aches. Maybe because of the quality of the meat being spoiled or cook not cooking it properly and thoroughly. I wouldn’t recommend eating here. However, despite the food, the ambiance of the restaurant seems very awkward. With no music and the employees staring at you while you eat makes it very uncomfortable to enjoy the shitty meal. But the service was really good. The waitresses did a nice job cleaning our plates right when we were done. Overall, I wouldn’t want to eat here again.

Great Gem in San Jose. 1. Clean restaurant 2. Mom is in the back handing the cleaning with the mop dad is up front handling the operations. 3. LOVE mom and pop businesses. They’re a dying breed that depend on the community to love and support their establishment. 4. Cook is excellent at helping the customers and does a great job cooking a preparing the food. 5. Wish it were closer to where I live, but not hat far away. 6. I like the interior colors which are soothing. 7. Fresh meats and produce. 8. Very budget friendly. $ 12.98 a person is a rest deal compared to the $ 72 bill I get hit with when I go get sushi.

Wish I can say I liked something about this place… It’s all you can eat too! So first you pick all the ingredients you want then someone will cook it for you. I chose lots of different meats & spices & usually it turns out decent. This time I found myself trying to finish/force food down my throat since I don’t want to waste food. Can’t really put my finger on what’s missing but for all the spices I put, it was still very bland. Probably won’t be back here, maybe the ingredients weren’t fresh? Sigh…

Similar layout to the Sunnyvale location, which I’ve been to on multiple occasions with pretty decent experiences. The food is so-so. I think I actually prefer the Sunnyvale location better as the food just seems to be cooked better at that location. Otherwise, decent food for a pretty good price.

I can’t think of anything bad about this place, really. I’ve been here about 3 times now. We end up coming here when I don’t feel like cooking and still want to eat somewhat«clean». The best part about this place is that you have full control of what you put in your food. You throw in what you want into 2 little bowls and they cook it for you. If food tastes bad here, then that just means you are not preparing your ingredients well. ;) When you walk in, you first take your table and go to the line to grab your ingredients. They give you two bowls to load up on thin sliced meats, veggies and sauces. The servers will come by to pick up empty plates and bring you water. The rest is self serve. As you may already know this is AYCE and you can go back to get more. Food tastes good and you can put on extra sauces and toppings after they finish cooking. I love that they have a soft serve ice cream machine also. I always look forward to enjoying one after a great meal. The staff here is pleasant and nice. I definitely like coming here for a quick bite to eat during the week!

We went here around 3 P.M. — The selections are limited but what they have are probably good enough for a quick meal. — This is good for people who are on low-carb diets too. Just don’t add the noodles. — Service was friendly and quick. — Some selections won’t be available until after 4 P.M.(They will be covered by lids). — The ice cream is a nice touch.

Don’t be fooLed by the AYCE offering. I payed 30 bucks(without tip) for my niece & I– ALthough I Left fuLL, it was aLso a combination of disgust. So here’s the rundown: you grab 2 bowLs and fiLL them up with whatever your heart desires. The buffet of ingredients incLudes beef, pork, chicken, Lamb, veggies, noodLes, and sauces. The guys standing around a huge round griLL wiLL cook up you’re ingredients and hand it off to you. Great concept(very beneficiaL to the owner since you can onLy eat so much noodLes) but this pLace couLd use some work. The ingredients were Lacking and most of it didn’t Look appeaLing in any way. There are onLy so many different variations of noodLe dishes you can have and they get oLd pretty QuickLy. Meh. I’d pass on Gobi and head to your LocaL maLL’s food court if they offer Great Khans. Food tastes better and you if you’re anything Like me– it wouLd be a better deaL as opposed to paying for AYCE and being over it so QuickLy. Nice try on the soft serve but does it reaLLy need to be THAT damn soft? It was meLting faster than I was abLe to eat it. DoubLe MEH.

OHMANOHMAN! honestly. this place is okay. I come in expecting to eat a lot but soooo many carbs filling me up! one plate got some people in my party full and I had to eat some of their leftovers. the price was roughly $ 12 per person. basically $ 12 for a plate of noodles for some people. MEHHH. Great Khans has a better deal IMO. HOWEVER! I did love their ice cream. fairly creamy and delicious for an AYCE joint. I’ll probably be coming back. MAINLY for the ice cream though heheh.

AYCE Mongolian BBQ! Yes, with the big hot circular grill and essential pile-your-bowl-as-high-as-possible challenge. Two bowls limit per round of all you can eat. Large array of meats, veggies, and sauces make sure you have plenty of choices. It’s easy to end up with a bland bowl, so make sure you sauce generously. Free soft serve ice cream, chicken noodle soup, and rice for dine in patrons. The ice cream cones are stale though. The restaurant is wedged between Sherwin-Williams Paints and AAA, opposite the row where all of the rest of the restaurants are. All in all, nothing to write home about, but beats a strip mall joint when having a Mongolian grill craving.

Dude. this place is the bomb. It’s all you can eat so you never leave unsatisfied which is uhhhmaaaaazzzzingg. You get two bowls that you can fill with whatever you want: veggies, meat, noodles, tofu, teryaki, curry, etc etc. Along with that there is steamed rice and chicken noodle soup as an option as well. For dessert you can even get their soft serve vanilla cones. This place is hidden in the shopping center off brokaw but is definitely one of the most underrated buffet spots! It’s basically a better version of great khans and is seriously the best when I’m craving veggies and noodles cause I can pile my bowls so high AND even go back for seconds if I want to. Okay u get the point have fun pls go and try not to get too fat :-))

GOBI! This place is for sure in the books as one of my favorite Mongolian BBQ joints overall. I love how they have a huge variety of meat and veggie choices for your stir fry. Their crispy wontons add a great crunch factor to your meal and it makes me happy knowing they use special medal sticks to cook your meal, rather than the typical wooden chopsticks you find at other BBQ places. Employees always greet you and give you a table right away. They are always very willing to answer any questions you have. Every time I come here, they keep up the tidy and neat environment. Other places I’ve been to, I really question their level of cleanliness, but for the numerous amount of times I’ve been Gobi’s, they always seem to maintain this expectation. In addition to their typical food offerings, you can also indulge in white rice, chicken noodle soup, and soft serve ice cream — yum! I never leave Gobis disappointed.

For the price you pay for all you can eat(12 dollars), this place is pretty good! You get to pick whatever you want to put in it and they have a good variety of meats and veggies! I also like how they have soup and rice on the side as well if you aren’t feeling the noodles that they have. The service is top-notch here as well and they have a TV that will often show sports games when they are on :) My favorite part about this place is the ice cream, because who doesn’t like to end their meal with ice cream! It’s hard to eat just one… just saying. I like this place and I love it even more every time I come!

Absolutely fantastic! You’ve been to Great Kahn’s right? In the mall? where you shove as much stuff as possible onto one small ass bowl? Yeah don’t do that. You just literally need to go here. It’s affordable as heck and the food is AHMAZING. Consider giving this place a try! The parking absolutely sucks, but what can you do? It sucks in general. So if you’re craving for A LOTOFFOOD. Just go here. It’s affordable, quick, and you will get full quickly.

All you can eat for $ 9.99 during the weekdays for lunch! Ice cream frozen soft serve and rice and soup included. Pay extra for sodas. I follow the sauce recipe on the wall for the most part to make sure my food tastes like something. Remember the more food you have the more sauce you’ll need. To go option is a dollar less. One tv is on. No frills place nothing fancy but good food they cook in front of you and fast. You can use two bowls at one cooking run. Overall I am a fan!

The all-you-can-eat is where it’s all at. Lunch is 10 dollars, and dinner is 2 dollars more, and you also have an option of lamb for the dinner menu. It roughly amounts to about 13 dollars with tax + 15% tip. They have typically everything I look for in a Mongolian spot. Meat, veggies, noodles, and the sauce. The vibe is definitely more of a lunch-time spot. It definitely leans more towards the casual side so great place to be at. It’s typically not too crowded unlike some of the previous restaurants. The chefs did not undercook my food at all, but if they do, I would just ask them directly. The big downer I would say is the parking lot. You’re going to have to come in real early(11AM) or at off-peak hours(2−5PM) to dodge the traffic.

Food is actually just 3 star but for $ 12 its not bad. I usually go to the one in Downtown Mountain View but my friend wanted to take me here. The only bad thing is I made my plate too salty… :(so don’t put too much sauce! The chili is pretty spicy but really good. Again, it is good for the cheap price but nothing amazing.

This was my friend’s idea of a good place for a very long awaited reunion… ugh…I went anyways and was right about being VERY disappointed. Prices are not worth it. Sauces are watered down and flavorless. Soup tasted horrible; I was struggling just to swallow the first sip. Shrimp was tiny and was so bright orange that it looked radioactive. Seriously! The only good thing was the ice cream. But I literally got the LAST drip from the machine. What the heck! It was Sunday dinner and they ran out already?!. They didn’t tell us this before we started our meal. Why do we have to pay the full price then? I wouldn’t have tipped but I didn’t pay… Horrible experience. This place is on its way out… never coming back again …

It’s an all you can eat for 9.99(week day lunches) «Mongolian BBQ». The concept is good: fill up 2 bowls(veggies, frozen meat, noodles…), add sauces/seasoning according to your taste, get it cooked and enjoy! I like the concept. Free soup, rice and ice cream! There is nothing too«Mongolian» in the food though, it’s more about custom fried noodles. Tastes good. especially if you know how to make your sauce. Place is clean. Can eat outdoor.
