So I got the multipass to sneak in and hangout with the upper elder class. Man what a bubble they live in. If I’m not mistaken they have two, there’s a classy dress code place and then there’s this place after golfing everyday and never having to work why not eat here? It’s alright. I mean yeah there’s better restaurants out there but the point is you have to go out there and leave your bubble. Okay food. My buddy had simple turkey bacon sandwich he looked happy with that. My other friend oh man her Chinese Chicken Salad was wonderful I would definitely recommend that. I got the salmon which looks way better than what happened in my mouth. Meh, my mouth said too dry, eat more of your friend’s salad her dish is better. So I’d say hit or miss, might also depend on chef for the day. 3 stars

We moved into the Villages a few months ago, and The Bistro is terrific for those nights when I get home late from work or I’m just too busy. The wait staff is very friendly and attentive, and do a good job. They have specials on Sundays and other days, which is nice, and breakfasts which are quite good. The only negatives? I’d like to see more healthy, low fat choices(after all the majority here are older and should be watching fat intake etc), and I wish the acoustics were better in the building. One slightly drunken person being loud can ruin the experience.

The Bistro at The Villages is relatively new, but it is great despite minor growing pains that are rapidly being worked through. When it opens up the front windows on a summer day, and you lean back with your sandwich and sipping your drink, wow – it just doesn’t get any better. The view is truly beautiful. What a wonderful addition to this community! The garlic fries are to die for and the sandwiches are abundant and of high quality. The view is wonderful. The marble that makes up the bar is worth looking at for its own sake – what a fine piece of stone! We also enjoy restaurant adjoining the Bistro for a standard but delectable menu and a more formal atmosphere – great food, reasonable prices. Menu varies daily and nightly, but there is always something good. Thank you Villages! Best food in the entire area.

Somewhere between 2 and 3 stars. The burger sliders were actually really nice, but the fried chicken bits tasted floury and the mayonnaise tasted funny.

1. The management needs to learn how to train the wait staff. I am sure the staff is doing their best but they fall short in good customer service. Most of the time they act like they don’t see you. 2. Small item but reflects the apathy of the management. They put in a popcorn machine that is very seldom on. I asked the staff when it would be on they said it was broken, that was two weeks ago. Just get it fixed so we can enjoy it on a consistent basis.
