Customer service sucks at this location. Went in yesterday to order a sandwich, and the three Hispanic women working just looked like they were having a really crappy morning or something. I asked for pickles and pepperoncinis on the side and everything else on the sandwich, and the lady making it gave me a dirty look. Come to find out when I got home that she left out the pickles. Lame.

I’ve never been to a togos that charges extra for cheese .75 cents really ? I asked for it to be toasted mass confusion behind the counter at that point. The racist rap on the radio was unsettling also. I will no be returning I had to put one star to many

So pictures can be deceiving because when I snapped my photo of my «sandwich» bowl, I did not see the onions, pickles, tomatoes, and peppers underneath the turkey deli meat. I was in the area for my daughter’s kickboxing class and decided I would use my coupon before it expires; free 6″ classic sandwich w/a purchase of a 20oz drink and a bag of chips. Ordering online was a breeze and I enjoyed spending under $ 4 on dinner. I gave the bag of Sun Chips to my son and I hate to admit it but I did enjoy a Diet Pepsi although my beverage of choice is Diet Coke or Coke Zero. I have reduced my diet soda intake dramatically so 2−3x a month isn’t so bad. Customized my «sandwich» to fit my macros; my turkey and avocado sandwich got made into a salad w/all the fixings that comes w/it except mayonnaise. The order did not take long to make even though I requested my pickup time to be at 5PM but when I got there, they did not have my order. The lettuce was fresh and crisp, the turkey deli meat is subpar but the avocado turned a bit black… maybe it was because I ate it about 2hrs after I picked it up. I used mustard as my dressing. Though it wasn’t the best meal on the planet, it was definitely healthy and cheap. Thank you for the awesome coupon. Oh yeah, friendly service by everyone behind the counter yesterday!

I had a gluten free wrap with meatballs and it was very good. Since I have gluten allergy the TOgO staff took care care of my food. I would highly recommend this place to try out gluten free wrap, if you have gluten allergy.

I typically love Togo’s, they make a mean sandwich and it’s an easy experience overall but the customer service I experienced at this location leaves a lot more to be desired. The cashier was inept at taking my gift card and applying it to my purchase, this process took some time… which defeats the purpose of getting a gift card as it should have been a very painless and easy transaction… My ending balance was under $ 2, so I asked the cashier to cash out the remaining balance(a California law requirement for gift cards under $ 10), I immediately get a «no, we do not return cash to our customers». I ask around for any available manager or person who may better understand this process but it felt like I was talking to a wall. I hope my experience was a 1-off case, but it didn’t seem like anybody was willing to try to help or understand or offer any type of basic customer service. I won’t be visiting this Togo’s again, who wants to get upset right before they are about to eat their dinner? And because of poor staff training? It’s a good thing Chipotle is right next door, who knows how many times I’ve tried to talk my way into getting a bigger burrito but they always go above and beyond and deliver. And to top this whole debacle off, the sandwich wasn’t really good either…

I was here the other day; bought a pastrami sandwich. I guess the guy didn’t hear me when I asked for«no lettuce, no tomatoes, no peppers, no onions» because it had a whole bunch of lettuce and tomatoes and onions… So I went back today, hoping to get the store to make me a replacement. Problem is, between Monday and today(Wednesday) I misplaced the receipt. Of course, the manager’s first question was«do you have your receipt?» at which point I figured I would be feeding my uneaten 2 day-old sandwich to the dog. She doesn’t mind onions and tomatoes. She’ll even eat pickles, just not by themselves. But I digress. Norma, the manager, said she would make me a replacement sandwich without the receipt. Super nice lady. I didn’t expect this, and I was very pleasantly surprised. Ive had a lot of places refuse to help me even when I have returned the next day with the item I had purchased(in the original condition) and the manager has given me the proverbial middle finger. This is why I will never again go to the TacoBell/KFC on Tully Road. Those are some rude managers. Anyway, Norma was a star, and their pastrami sandwiches are super addictive.

Good service! The ladies working were very nice and helpful! Thumbs up the the ladies working the AM shift on Friday around 1045! I ordered the new pulled pork and cheddar, and it was delicious. I used to always get the pastrami, this is my new favorite!

A really nice Togo’s. I like going there with friends or my mom. I like their sandwhiches with sourdough bread.

Best Togo’s in the South Bay! I’ve been coming to this Togo’s for years. Out of all the franchises in the the south Bay Area, I get the best customer service and consistency. I typically get the #9 hot pastrami. Many other Togo’s have mushy or soggy pastrami, but this one always has it perfect. Steve is the owner and is frequently in the store working with the employees. You can tell that he is hardworking and honest. Can’t beat this Togo’s.

The only reason this review gets 2 stars is because my other experiences here weren’t terrible. But this time I went, I had such a bad experience, I felt like I needed to share it. So this evening I sent my sister in to order my sandwich, a large #8, extra mayo, with no produce, which is extremely difficult to screw up. I get home, my sandwich had light mayo, lettuce, tomato, onion, and peppercinis. Come to find out, while the new girl was making my sandwich, she was talking to another customer about how she was from Stockton, so she was distracted while making my sandwich and added a whole bunch of stuff I didn’t want. So I go back to Togo’s, I tell her what happened, and she stares blankly at me and asks«So…do you want me to remake the sandwich?» I looked at her at I said yes. Did she really think I would go all the way back there just to tell her how she screwed up? Anyway, I told her exactly what I wanted, and while she’s making it she asks me «So do you want lettuce?» I lost it, I was so annoyed with her at this point. I told her no, I didn’t want anything on it, but I said it slower this time so she could understand. I finally got my sandwich, got home, started eating it, and there was light mayo again. This is the last time I’ll ever go to that location again, you’re better off getting a sandwich from Subway, at least that sandwich won’t be $ 9.00 because she added a drink I didn’t ask for. Also, if you’re brand new and can’t be trusted to make a sandwich on your own, ask for help.

I enjoy coming to this togos. The employees are very friendly(Diane is always very sweet and helpful =)). The store is nice and clean. Togos sandwiches just outshine the rest! My personal favorite, Hot Pastrami!

I loved it! My sandwich, which was just mayo, lettuce, ham, turkey, and cheese, tasted great, the broccoli cheddar soup was savoury, and I was extremely satisfied with the food quality. The person who made the sandwich and spooned the soup was I believe a man named David, and he was especially friendly and polite.

If I could give no stars, I would. My boyfriend and I came to this location earlier this week and ordered a pastrami sandwich to split. As we were driving home we started to feel a little nauseated. A couple hours later we both became very ill. Unfortunately, we both suffered a nasty case of food poisoning that lasted for almost a week. This isn’t my first time going to this togo’s, but it’s definitely my last.

Togos is just an alright sandwich shop, the roast beef sandwich I had was dry and not enough vegetables. I would prefer and recommend subway, the food at subway is made fresh and to your liking.

Right off the bat I have to knock off 2 stars for the service. The woman making my sandwich asked me the same questions three times and still didn’t get my order right! She was extremely rude about everything and I didn’t appreciate her slamming my card down and walking away after I paid. Sandwich is good and location is convenient but I’m still gonna try to avoid this Togos because the staff isn’t friendly.

I love togos. I know many people have gone to subway. But I still prefer togos. I always get my pastrami or Turkey with avocado as my healthy choice. Togos is from San Jose. Even thought it’s now owned by some big chain I like that it was founded in San Jose. Perhaps it’s not exactly what it use to be but the sandwiches are still very good and that pastrami still rocks. This unit is pretty. There serving is not always super friendly but it’s fast. And thel lines here are not as crazy as the other ones. There is a Starbucks next door so it’s perfect for me. Get my sandwich for lunch and my frap right next door. I’m down with togos.

I think this the best Togo’s in San Jose. I always get roast beef sandwich with everything. The workers here are friendly and helpful. This located in the lucky area by Capitol Exp and Tully Road.

I always feel really bad coming here because I’m one of those obnoxious assholes who look at their phone while they’re making the sandwich that you ordered and miss them asking whether you want mayo and mustard the first and second time :( That being said, they’re still really nice to me. This place is popular as all hell but they still manage to keep things going at a reasonable pace, even during lunch time. The manager is obviously really busy during lunchtime and can be a bit brusque, but you should probably not be offended because he’s far, far busier than you. All their sandwiches are piled high with meat and toasted well. They’re not, you know, Ike’s from down the street, but 5 for a sandwich and drink, their value is really excellent. My personal favorite is their Italian, which is piled high with every kind of meat imaginable, served with yellow pepperoncinis. Toast it for hearty, filling bliss. Of course, their $ 5 special changes every day, so you might not always get what you want. Additionally, their chips are EXPENSIVE. Still, gotta recoup the losses somehow, right? Solid 4⁄5. I’ll be back because of how cheap it is, and my tendency to forget lunch(naturally).
