Chicago Pizza

Moving from the East Coast originally to the West Coast — I have to be honest — has it’s own variety of taste. To each his own — so that does not mean that it’s bad by any means — different would be more like it… and I like different.
Chicago Pizza however is very much like the Pizza I remember in the East and Mid-​West too, now that I think of it, but — more East Coast! Yum, yummy — for SHO (play on words there)!!
No longer in the Bay Area, but when there remembered it to be quick when ordered, pleasant delivery employees and also tasty Wings! Deep Dish recommended!

Tried this for the first time today. I was tired after a long day of work and decided to order their delivery. The estimated delivery time was between 45 – 60 mins; they were very fast! My delivery was delivered to me after about 25 minutes. Everything was in place and very yummy! I was very pleased that they followed my «special» instructions (most places usually get stuff wrong). Great service, will definitely be ordering again soon!

The Pizza may be good, but the restaurant itself is filthy. Order delivery or find another place to eat. Unless you hate your family.

This place has become my «go-​to» for delivery pizza. They make a very tasty pie. Way better than anything you can get at a chain store– yes, I’m looking at you Mountain Mike. The Chicago deep dish is as close to a very good Chicago pie as can be found on the West Coast. Actually, there are places in Chicago that serve pies not quite as good. On top of that reasonable prices and good delivery service. The chicken wings were not very good. But, that is consistent as Chicago people don’t make good wings. Haven’t tried much else but I highly recommend the Chicago deep dish pie.

Love this place, love these guys. The crust is amazing. Nicest people around. Love that they kept the name from the bar that used to be there. Great local spot.

The Chicago pizza isn’t Chicago pizza. With that said, it’s a pretty darn good thick crust!

Super fast delivery! Got my pizza in 27 mins. Pizza was great too. Delivery guy was cool also

We use to order pizza from this place all the time for our dealership. Today was the last time we order a pizza from them. So I called to order 2 large pizzas and some wings so first time the guy tells me that it will be 47 dollars I tell him that he is crazy and I was going to hang up so he said wait a secondary and adjust it to 37 dollars ok that’s fine. So I sent my guy to pick up those pizzas from them and they over charge my guy because they knew I am not there. So pizza quality of pizza went down service is really really bad. So I called right after that and the owner goes to me it is what is it is. OK I will charge my card back for full amount because pizza is not good and I will never order again from that and on top you get one more bad review so Unilocalers read it and make sure order somewhere else don’t give them any business. I deleted my original review back from 2012 which was 5 star…

If you’re in the mood for some tasty pizza (delivery). This is the place!
Prices are decent and menu is simple.
Fast and friendly service.
Not the place to go if you wanna sit down and bring your family though. The counter reminds me of a auto shop — bit dusty. Few tables and chairs are greasy… The place needs some TLC.

even tho ive been ordering here for the past year or so and had my order messed with the last time i ordered. i still didn’t give them bull crap and for her to act like that she’s one rude ass lady get her fired asap

I picked up a Medium size Combination pizza. I rate it a 4 star for taste, but I worry about the quality and cleanliness about this place.
The price are fair you get tons of toppings. It is not ridiculous to the point where its overwhelming but you do not feel that you are being skimped out. The pizza is cooked well and taste good. There is something to be concern of that I should mention, I had a serious stomach ache and a couple trips to the toilet for a day. Not too bad but just something to note.
The cleanliness and the hygiene of this place concerns me. The lady does not wear gloves, she walks in and out of the back room (kitchen) and goes through the the cash and coins with her bare hands. The calculator that is being used in the front is filthy. And yes, this is used as well without gloves!
Because of this I may probably not come back. If they do a little cleaning and maybe spend $ 50 on a printing calculator then they would have me as a returning customer and a 4 star reviiew

I am very picky with pizza and this definitely lived up to expectations not only was the food good delivery was FREE! Plus staff was friendly and helpful

sorry had the extra large Chicago supreme pizza, I found it to be extremely boring and bland. where was the flavour? who knows! I found the crust to be weak. chicago deep dish? hell no this was more like a Pheonix Arizona pizza was so disappointed this was nothing like a Chicago style pizza. the pizza was loaded with meat but lacked spice and flavor. sorry guys but your perpetrating a fraud. maybe you should rename yourself pizza joint on East 14^th that would be more honest.

Who ever the lady is that answers the phone, she is terrible! Don’t get me wrong, good/​decent pizza, great price, but horrible customer service. It’s so bad, it makes me not want to order from there. Smh somebody should have a talk with her. 3 – 4 stars for the pizza 1 star for customer service…

(Side-​note) they delivered me the wrong pizza 1 night, no big deal. But when I told the lady about it, she gave off this attitude/​vibe like «get over it you f***ing idiot, it’s pizza!!! Lol not cool tho

Just finished a couple pieces of my first pizza here. Very fast delivery, like a 30 minute wait and nice driver. Unfortunately this isn’t a true deep dish Chicago pizza though. It’s just a lot of dough, but it’s good.
Wouldn’t order this again if I wanted deep dish, but I would for pizza in general.

I’ve never gave a review but figured I try this out.
So tonight we order a special which includes a two topping large pizza, 6 wings and garlic bread with a soda. Total came to about $ 18.70. So i was like Damm that’s a good deal…
Twenty minutes later we go and pick up the pizza and I ask my people what type of soda they want… before they can even answer the employees say it’s only two can sodas… I’m like wtf, two can sodas… really!!! I thought we get a two liter, I look back there way (the workers) and there looking the opposite direction now… Damm well that’s hella janky we get two CAN SODAS, I mean I guess it’s koo we get two different flavors but really… so whatever I grab the two we all laugh and cut.
Once we get home we open the boxes and see that the garlic bread is on a hot dog bun lol… least it had sesame seeds in it… lol hella boosie… pizza and wings are decent but there’s more crust then pizza. Never again I’m sorry

This is not Chicago style pizza. It’s just regular pan pizza they charge you more for.
One of the folks from work went a really far way too get this and we were terribly disappointed.

I keep ordering from here and it’s super-​reliable, the best value around, and really good! Using the Unilocal app keeps my recent orders so it’s incredibly easy to tap tap and have food quickly on its way.
We get deep dish every now and then, normal crust if feeling for something lighter. Hawaiian rocks, so do the cheese sticks.

Not Chicago Pizza.
OK sure the pizza was fine, the crust was fine and it was better than other places we’ve tried in San Leandro, what you get here is not what any Chicagoan would call Chicago Pizza. It’s «thick» crust conveyor belt pizza just like Dominoes or any other chain. Do not expect deep dish pan pizza going in, and look at the pictures in the other reviews. If you do that, you might like it.
The one nice thing was they were open until 10. San Leandro gets a little sleepy after 9PM.
edit: It seems from the online menu that Deep Dish pizza is only offered if you order a large. We ordered a medium over the phone with no menu. Chalk it up to the bad customer service others mention. Maybe we will try again someday.

Great food!!! I love the cheese bread sticks and the spicy wings its really tasty. I also ordered the Chicago supreme pizza, its huge and overflowing with toppings. The only complaint i have is the delivery time. They confirmed 50 mins but the guy came in 1hr21mins (i ordered thru eat24 app) i will probably order again, hopefully they’ll be faster next time.
