Custom desk and hutch from FI Furniture in San Leandro. I brought in my plans on graph paper and Sam made it work. Picked it up a week later in Oakland at the warehouse. The bookcase looked great but was not done quite to the specs I ordered, so the builders are redoing that piece. Review of the desk and hutch: affordable, great quality, custom work, quick turn around, great customer service. Very happy.

Sam is very friendly and helpful! He will provide a catalog for you to thumb through, and if you don’t find anything there, you can create your own design and his father will custom make it for you for a really good price! Furthermore, when you order a custom made piece of furniture, the wood that will be used are actual planks of solid wood, rather than the compressed wood you get at IKEA!
We ordered an entertainment center based off one of the designs in the catalog. We expanded it by a foot in height and a bit in width, and the price quote was just a tad more than what the catalog listed! Definitely a good deal!
I understand why Sam says he get customers from Sacramento to Santa Cruz. This price really can’t be matched anywhere!

I ordered a custom bed, which they delivered for a very reasonable price. When the bed was set-​up, and built exactly as I requested, I realized I had made a mistake. A big mistake which meant I could not use the bed. I called to ask if they could help, and although it was right between Christmas and New Year’s, they returned THAT VERY NIGHT, took my new bed away and returned an hour later with it fixed. I could now sleep in it.
I could not have been more relived and happy. I am recommending them to all of my friends!

Awesome place, their prices are pretty good we got a night stand and a dresser for about 500 or 600 bucks. Customs made with real wood not the fake stuff and many color options. I recommend plus the shipping is fast they make it and get it to you as soon as you need it

My teenage son wanted a modern bedroom set and I had a hard time finding one within our budget. I found FI Furnitures at Craigslist and contacted them for their custom service. Sam was awesome helping us. From returning emails to personal service to make sure we get what we wanted. They custom made a platform bed with side tables and were able to deliver in less than 1 week. We came in on a Thursday, placed the order and his brother Nick made the bed that weekend and was delivered that following Tuesday!!! I added a last minute dinning room table in my order and Sam did everything he can to have his driver re-​route and pick up my dinning set from their other warehouse and was able to deliver the same time my bed was delivered. What a great customer service!!!

My experience with Fi Furniture Plus was very positive. My bed frame came on schedule, and it’s truly a perfect, custom-​made frame. The frame is not only well-​constructed, but solid wood and built to last. They understood what I wanted, and I’m very pleased with my reasonably priced purchase. Their costumer service was excellent as well. I would definitely recommend purchasing your furniture from Fi Furniture Plus.

The customer service is SUPERB! Sam is very helpful with our customized bed frame selection and even suggested the most efficient one. Their price is also reasonable compared to other furniture place.
They also offer financing through Crest Financial which most companies don’t. Another plus!
The guys who delivered our bed frame assembled the parts so fast!

I really like this store. I’ve been coming here for furniture. Bed frames and sofa sets are really good and have reasonable prices, Looks good and the staff here are really approachable… They give free stuff like pillows and snack bars! Very nice! I recommend this place so badly :)

They get one star for having low prices, and one star for being polite although not very helpful. I called them looking for two full size box springs, I inquired about the price and whether he had them and he said YES. I told him «okay, I’m on my way.» I show up 30 min later, and he tells me he doesn’t have them, they’re in the warehouse… but I can pick them up, they’re «only 5 min away.» Frustrated and pushed for time, I go to the warehouse which is no way 5 min away, my gps says 11 min and it took like 20 min because of construction on the road. Also, he sent me to the ghetto. It’s an area in Oakland that you would question even getting out of the car. Is my safety worth 2 cheap box springs? I think not, but since I already paid for it I make myself get out despite being thoroughly annoyed. He should have been honest and said that he didn’t have it or tell me when they would have it or be honest and say I would have to waste time to pick it up, he lied to me to make a sale. C’mon now… when someone tells you they’re on their way you better have it… especially when you say you have it!

The show room was well stocked and lit, but very cold. The young man helping me explained the difference in mattresses, and frames.
Spent a little more than I wanted to but I think I have a quality product that will last for several years.

This is a great company. They provide quality products and excellent, friendly customer service and delivery. It is a family-​run business, and they will custom-​build items to your specifications — always at a great price. Sam and his family do a great job.

I am very satisfied with FI Furniture Plus. I was in the market for a queen-​sized platform bed. I didn’t want to order one online, sight unseen, and have to put it together when it arrived. I saw an ad on Craigslist for FI Furniture, checked out their Unilocal reviews, and decided to take a look. I walked in on Sunday, Sep 15, and saw that they had at least 4 platform bed models in solid wood to choose from. They also offer the choice of about 6 colors. I quickly chose a model and a stain (cherry). There was no pressure from the saleman. The bed cost $ 330.73 ($ 289 for the bed, $ 26.73 in tax, and only $ 15 to deliver it and set it up). I asked when the bed would be ready and was told it would take 2 days to make it. I didn’t need it until Friday, when my husband would be home to receive it. I was excited to come home and see my new bed. It was beautiful… except where the wood meets at the foot of the bed, I could see the original color of the wood, just a sliver on each side. I took some photos and returned to the store the following Saturday. After seeing the photos, I was told that someone would come out and fix it. I made an appointment for the following Saturday (yesterday) and two men showed up promplty to apply some stain. My bed looks wonderful! I highly recommend that you check out this store.

I am extremely pleased with Fi Furniture Plus. They go completely above and beyond and deserve 5 stars.
I found Fi Furniture on Craigslist. I intended on finding good quality furniture at a lower than average price. My mom and I came in and Sam was very helpful. I told him upfront that I wanted the cheapest bed frame/​box they had, and he recommended this beautiful bed frame for $ 130. I spent about $ 100 for a bed frame at Ikea and it was horrible quality and often broke. In my mind, spending $ 30 more is nothing if the quality is amazing. Since they didn’t have the bed frame display in the store, Sam reassured me that it is really nice quality for the price. I appreciated his honesty and decided to order it. While my mom looked for a couch I stumbled across a beautiful faux marble top dining table with 4 chairs for $ 160. I took one look at it, sat down and knew I had to have it. There were other beautiful and larger, more luxurious dining sets, but this one was stunning while remaining in our budget.

The best part was come delivery day, (btw — their delivery for local area is $ 15. and they assemble the furniture!!) my boyfriend and I asked Nick if he could stop by my mom’s house to pick up her couch and bring it along with the furniture we purchased from them. Of course we offered to pay the expense for the delivery and travel. He was very sweet and said that was perfectly fine.
The guy who came to deliver our furniture found out very late notice that he’d have to move our couch, too. My boyfriend and him were able to do it all very quickly and efficiently.
He stayed and built our dining table and bed frame. He realized that we didn’t have a bed box and said he’d be back in 30 minutes with some extra cross beans to hold up our mattress. He totally went out of his way and came back later this evening with it.
My experience with this company was so great! I honestly can’t rave enough about it. I will recommend all my friends and family to go to Fi Furniture Plus to get quality and luxury furniture at a great price. Go support a great family run business that offers both great products, services and customer service.

saw lots of sofas in the $ 200+ range. was. looking for a lamp, not much selection. the few lamps seen had no pricing.

My mom’s been looking for a bedframe for months. and she finally found one at furniture plus. They have some really nice solid would bed frames that you can customize by color and I believe style as well. pricing is great considering everything is made in the USA and highly quality.
As someone who’s a deal hunter, I highly recommend this place. You get the most bang for your buck. And the person who we spoke with, Sam, he was really cool.

Great place to buy furniture. The inventory was fantastic considering that they are able to customize. You can select material, as well as cushion firmness of the sofas.
Much of the selection is made right in their factory in San Leandro. They also have import furniture. I wish I needed more than just a sofa because that’s how great the service and selection was. Sam assisted us. He was very helpful and knowledgable. He answered all our questions and was very accommodating to our requests. My BF is quite particular and he left the store very pleased with the purchase and service.

Nicely priced, very friendly, and customized to your taste! I ordered a dresser & was able to choose the wood and customize the top drawers. Speedy delivery!
