Great phở, my kids love this place. Love the bench seating. Able to watch TV, I don’t miss my wheel or warrior games. I visit twice a month. Love the staff, feel like I’m at home.

Really friendly staff and usually asian joints are not lol. Maybe because I went with asian friends??? Hmmm… The phở bowl is huge! I couldnt finish it(and I can eat like a man!). The soup had goodflavir but the brisket was super fatty more so than other places. Good prices and fast service for lunch break. Down side an open garbage container right in front of the parking making it not so appealing and kinda grose.

Found an ant in my phở. Pretty gross, no offer of a discount or compensation from the manager.

FLIESINTHEIRPHO! I found a fly in my soup? Really that’s just revolting I drank from that bowl. Then shortly after they replaced my bowl, my friend found a fly in her bowl of phở too. AREYOUKIDDINGME? Then their manager comes to us and tells us, «are you sure you didn’t use the wrong sauce or it fell in?» like no we didn’t use anything and if it was your sauce it’s still your problem. I’m going to question ever coming here again. That’s just gross and unsanitary.

I love this place great food and customer service when ever I’m here or order by phone I have to get the fried egg rolls(Mmm) along with P-1 or P-15. P1 comes with extra meat. It is usually inside but if you order it by phone, they will have everything separate. Customers service: They had a new server, when the place started to get full the server seemed nervous and forgot our drinks, in clouding two tables next to ours.

Been working from home doing the telecommute thing a lot these days and to break the mundane I try local restaurants. I’m glad to have gone here today, the Bun Bo Hue is excellent ! If your in the East Bay and craving for some Bun Bo Hue no need to drive to San Jose. I highly recommend in giving this place a go.

I ordered the Phở Tai, it was ok. I had to add more flavoring for taste. What I didn’t like, too many flies flying around. I had to keep putting my hand up to move them from my face.

I have to say, the customer service here is great :) The lady who answered the phone was sweet, and I ordered Grilled Chicken Vermicelli, Shrimp Spring Rolls, and Lemongrass Chicken to go. The food was delicious, and I also decided on getting a Cantaloupe smoothie, which is made with fresh cantaloupe! It was so yummy, I told her it was better than Tapioca Express and she was happy. I am definitely coming back!

I spent my weekend binging out on Netflix and watching Parts Unknown with Anthony Bourdain. His episodes about Vietnam especially appeal to me. After watching a few, naturally I was craving a bowl of hot spicy, beefy noodles like crazy. I came here for dinner not too long ago. A friend of mine who had grown up in the area knew about it. It’s the usual kind of low-key phở spot that you would expect. Not the most upscale appearances but looks are not what matters… it’s all about the food. I ordered the Bun Bo Hue having never, ever tried it before but I knew it had the type of noodles that I specifically wanted. I opted out of the blood sausage cause I suck and I’m not THAT brave. It came with the unusual speediness that usually accompanies these establishments. I tasted it first, straight off without any added condiments. The broth was separating beautifully from the oil, to the hot chili oil, to the beefy broth. It was delicious! I added half a lime and some hoison sauce to deepen the flavors. I don’t think I’ll ever be going back to eating a regular bowl of phở after having this. My taste buds exploded with tantalizing flavors of a long cooked broth, spicy elements, fish sauce, and some other things that I can’t even identify. For $ 7.95, it was packed with some truly complex flavors. Would definitely come back here again!

It was amazing I would definitely recommend this place to anyone really nice and friendly customer service. I’m new to the area and I can say I think I just found my favorite go to place. Definitely try this place out. Wish they delivered

Came here with my step mom and I was very impressed with their quality! We had 2 bowls of phở along with the shrimp spring rolls. The beef tasted fresh and of better quality than other establishments in the area. My only issue was how small my iced coffee was. I was the size of a child’s glass.(minus 1 star). My step mom ordered her coffee with pearls and her cup was at least ½ a size bigger than mine.

I was driving around looking for trouble but got hungry and it was a cold ass day !!! Went on Unilocal and saw this phở place with 4.5 stars ? No fucking way right ! I grew up in the town of Oakland. All the phở places there either not clean, or service just like(eat and get the fuck out) LOL Don’t get me wrong, those phở were always good after a night on turnt up !! So I parked my Bentley on in their parking lot with lot of spaces. I was greeted once I walked from the front. Ordered myself the Bun Bo hue(spicy pork and beef) On hit boy !! I know my phở and my specialty is this Bun Bo hue !! I ate so many places thru the bay and this one can be top 5 hands down! Place is clean, phở is good, service is excellent ! What else u need to be 4.5 stars phở place ! They deserved a 5 from !

Followed the Unilocal reviews and pictures to Phở Anh-Ha to try the Bun Bo Hue. Got there around 2 pm the restaurant was about a third full. It’s in a strip center with parking on both sides of the the establishment. There are two large screen TV’s with sports on and some large padded picnic tables. It seems this place is a mom and pop shop. The service was friendly and good but the food did take a while to come out. We ordered the following: Bun Bo Hue 4 stars large bowl lots of toppings broth was OK. Beef Kabob 4 stars 3 skewers for $ 7 small portions tasted good Sugar Cane wrapped with shrimp 4 stars very good Garlic Noodles 4 stars good portion simple Vietnamese Ice Coffee and Thai Ice with Tapioca total bill $ 43 w/o tip

First time visitor and won’t be my last time for sure. Broth: I think this was a highlight of the meal. It was on the saltier/sweeter side but I really enjoyed it. Usually I am adding in a lot of sauce to brighten up the broth but this time I did not. Noodles: A nice mix of thick and think noodles. They were perfectly done as well. Meat: All meat was very tender and melts in your mouth. Very tasty cuts of meat as well. I ordered P1 large and finished the whole bowl. I usually leave over at least 1 cup of noodles but it was really good. I sat myself right in-front of the TV. I was given the option of hot tea or water right away. Once she brought me the water, I placed my order. I waited about 5 mins, there are that quick. My Phở was piping hot and SO good. I’ll keep my review at 4 stars and try other dishes and will update later. GO get your PHO on!

I used to love this place but I will never return. I called and placed my order and was told 10 minutes. I like to give restaurants extra time so I arrived in 20. They didn’t have my order and told me I must’ve called the wrong place and repeatedly told me I was wrong. UMMM… This is the only place I have ever ordered Phở from in San Leandro! I have a short fuse for shitty service so peace out.

This is our go-to Viet spot in San Leandro. Decent portions. Yummy, of course. TV’s so you can watch the game. A little more expensive than Viet spots in Oakland, but that’s expected. My suggestion if you’re buying drinks(milk tea, Viet coffee, smoothies): Ask for them to put it in a to-go cup right when you order it(even if you plan on eating in). The cups they use for in-house consumption are much smaller. You get more bang for your buck when they make it to-go.

This place was alright! The service was friendly and the restaurant looked fairly clean. The phở was just … Kind of bland. But hey next time I’ll just try their spring rolls and vermicelli. There’s gotta be something more worthwhile!
