First I came to the store to print 15 pictures, the guy told me he close in 10 minutes (In google it was writtent in 1 hours), so I decided to send an email with my picture and what I wanted exactly, I never get any answer, so I called. The woman was super rude. I told her all my pictures were on the email with what she has to do. She ask me few question as I am french we had a misunderstood so I told her to send me an email to confirm the price. I ask her when I could pick it up she told me 6 pm and I ask nicely if I can 5 pm she said 6 pm like very very badly. I said ok. I decided to come the day after work. I received an email that she print my pictures on glossy paper and in my WRITTING email it was written classical paper. So I call the nasty rude bad woman, and to be very polite this horrible woman told me that it was already printed … SO as a customer I have no choice ??? She told me I said something else on the phone, so I am lying ???
This woman pissed me off. I will never never come again to this store … If you dont like your job madam, you quit, but you dont treat customer like that. And I am not the only one when I read review … She did it with several person … she should get fire. Uncompetent. Rude. Unprofessional. No Patience. pfffffffffffffff

The copy center has messed up many of my online orders. And yet again I am stuck waiting at the counter for my online order. It was supposed to be done yesterday and I have to babysit my order. This is the last time I am waiting for your stupid no good online ordering. I will not use staples again.

Staff is nice, but no one seemed to know how to use an intercom to get help. No one knew where anything was. Worst of all, there were two shopping carts for the entire store. At almost 70 years old, it’s both hard and bad for me to lift a stack of heavy stuff off the floor and carry it to the cashier.
They had what I wanted, but I was in the store for almost an hour and now my back hurts. I won’t be back to Staples anytime soon.

Emil, the GM, did right by me. After I fired off a rather strongly worded complaint last night, he called me around 9am the next morning and profusely apologized for the error. Seems like their associates are new and not well trained in the procedures of the online order pickup. It was actually in the store the whole time, just in another location. To make amends, he actually dropped off a higher end battery charger (what I tried to pick up last night, but a lower end version) personally to my workplace, free of charge. I’ve never seen someone do that for a customer. All in the efforts to win my business back. Definitely didn’t expect that. Based on that, maybe I won’t write this place off completely. Perhaps I’ll just avoid the online ordering and buy in-​store from now on…
This place is abysmal. Two times I’ve ordered online for pickup in-​store. Two times I received an e-​mail informing me the items were ready to be picked up. And two times, they weren’t there when I arrived. This particular establishment seems to not have enough workers to staff the registers when it gets busy, and there was no one in the back available to get my ultimately unavailable item when I got there. The cashier actually had to go back there herself to retrieve it. I waited a good 20 minutes before being informed by the Asst. Manager, without sympathy, the item was not in the store, as previously indicated in the e-​mail I received. Apparently, someone marked it off as being available and picked up already before I arrived, or wrote in the computer it was there, when it wasn’t. I could have waited for them to call me when it arrived (if ever), or cancel the order for a refund. Guess which door I went through? Their lack of compassion made me believe this happens all the time, and I should have expected it. Sorry, when I get a notice something is ready, my first thought is it’s the truth and I go there to get it. Silly me! I thought the first time was a one-​off situation since it was a holiday (President’s Day I believe). Tonight? Now it’s becoming routine. Totally done w/​this place. Avoid this particular location like the plague, I’ll be taking my talents (or rather money) not to South Beach, but Pleasant Hill – at least they fulfill their promises and actually help you.

If you are going in for anything that have to do with their customer service, you will be in for a big dissappointment. Customer Service seemingly does not exist on this store. I went in twice but was treated the same way; not acknowledged or nobody was there to offer any help. The employees who were present then were running around like headless chickens. Check out line was long, the customer service table was unmanned even there were several people standing in line waiting to be helped. We were standing there for at least 20 – 25 mins (for me) but nobody came to help anyone. So I walked out and had my computer fixed else where. I said I went it twice; went in for 2 consecutive days because the first time I gave them the benefit of the doubt alas I was disappointed twice.
So as long as your business does not involve interacting with their customer service, I think the store is acceptable otherwise be warned people. AVOID THIS PLACE.

Stephanie at the copy and print center is the sweetest. She has a great attitude and is patient.

Needed a banner and we all got off to a shaky start when they could not get a file off my Gdrive… HOWEVER, the totally turned this around and delivered an awesome product and did an end run around my concerns. EPIC!

Love how this store is always very clean and have good stock on things I need. The cashier that helped me today was very friendly, her name was Griselda. When we ran into some issues with the printer recycle program… Griselda asked for her manager, and about 2 minutes later Safiyya came to the rescue. I expected to see a grumpy manager… but instead I met Safiyya, who was extremely friendly and patient. Safiyya helped me and made everything correct; she made my day! Thanks Safiyya!

This review goes to the copy center. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! We never had an issue before, but the past two years have been horrendous. It is problem, after problem. I have used them for my business as well as personal and it didn’t matter, every time I come here they never get it right.
I don’t understand how they can have three people working back there and there is only one working, with the others staring aimlessly. In the past two years I have NEVER had a purchase that with smoothly without mistake or problems.

Unless the deal you get for this place is free… it’s really not a good deal. Stay clear from their printing services. Bad service and even worse quality. This review is for late Christmas Cards orders.

I love this particular Staples and the deals online. I have purchased many items cheaper than amazon and ebay with free shipping (which arrived in about 1 – 3 days). The staff at the San Leandro store is very friendly and helpful. I am there at least 2 – 3 times a month getting postcards or flyers and they are very good and convenient.

LaQuinta Berry is AWESOME!!! I came in to have pictures blow up for a craft I am doing for my wedding. She made sure I was very satisfied with my prints. I believe she only works in the am. I would differently come back to her in future. I would recommend to everyone as well. She is very friendly! Not only is she awesome, she is a great multitasker!

Horrible customer service!
I was looking to purchase a new office chair so I came into the store to shop for a new one. First thing I noticed was a Target shopping cart in the furniture department! Really?!! After my initial shock, I started to try the different chairs that they had as 3 – 4 different workers came by without even acknowledging me or the Target shopping cart.
Conclusion: Do not shop here unless you want no assistance.

Every time I come, I’m disappointed.
The copy and print services never seem to have enough people and many of them don’t know what they’re doing. I had a girl help me today (Elizabeth) who didn’t seem to be sure of anything except for the price she wanted to charge me. When I explained that the price should be adjusted due to the print volume because that is what they advertise online, she snubbed me off and told me that it was just for businesses. I checked again when I got home, it wasn’t. Luckily, the manager fixed it after I called.
It also seems that they run out of sale items very quickly.

This is the closest place I can go to recycle my toner and ink cartridges. They have the paper supplies I need and will price match their items.

I wish a can give NO STARS. I used to love coming to this staples when the had friendly employees that were actually knowledgeable about their products and knew how to use their own copy machines. Now they seemed to have hired a brunch of high school drop outs that are unmotivated to work and give terrible customer service.
I went in today to get a few photos printed. The quality of the prints were TERRIBLE. The contrast on their machines are now turned up super high. Everything came out super dark and blown out. «These are no good, it looks like the contrast is turned up too high. Can you fix that and print another set.» The girl ‘helping’ me looked annoyed that I asked her to have them reprinted.
When she finally came back with the other set they were STILL TERRIBLE. «These are still no good.» The girl looked annoyed and rolled her eyes «well, its your photos.» «NO, the same files had been printed many times at professional print shops, office depot and Kinko’s with no problem. Its your set up on the copy machine. I don’t want these.»
Never come here to get anything other than a document printed. The copy center is messy and unorganized. And they’ll probably blame you for their inadequacy.

WORST customer service ever. I ordered online and had it shipped to the store for pickup.
When I went in to pick it up, the cashier asked «What did you order?» I replied «Office supplies, a bunch of stuff» Cashier: «Well you need to tell me what you ordered for me to get it for you.» Me: «That makes no sense, my order was 200 $+ and you need to know every item? Look it up by my name or order number…» Cashier” «UGHH ok fine.»
What do you mean, ok fine?! Wtf. THEN the guy she called to get my order from the back, huffed and puffed, rolled his eyes, clearly did not want to go get my box, until I said «WHAT IS THE PROBLEM? Do you need me to go get it? I’ll go get it from the f***ing back if its THAT hard» (I was pissed at this point, don’t make a pregnant woman angry) Mind you, I’m on my lunch break, and 20 minutes have passed at this time…
It took me yelling at him for him to freak out and say, oh no no problem so sorry, and go get my freaking order from the back.
DO YOUR JOB, DON’T COMPLAIN, AT LEAST NOT IN FRONT OF THE CUSTOMER.

Came in this week to get a laser printer to replace my crappy old regular printer.
I’m glad I came to this particular Staples, because they had a compact laser printer for $ 120 in stock.
The people here are friendly and helped me quickly with my questions and purchase.
Overall I was able to get in and out in under 15 minutes and everyone did a great job working as a team. I’d definitely consider coming back again for my office needs.

Went yesterday to buy some toner for printer. Early Sunday is a great time to go. I also was looking for external hard drive memory for computer and the staff was very helpful and polite. I was able to buy what I wanted and had great cashier service with Stephanie which was very polite and professional. I may look into their tech service to give computer a tune up which the prices are pretty reasonable as well.
