Usher Inn

Well, living in the area, I’d like to see this place close. At least once a month there’s serious police action at this bar. It attracts cruddy people from all over the east bay. Gun shots? Really? I’m sick of this place and the riff-​raff it attracts.
Read some of the reviews on here. people going in barefoot, in pj bottoms, etc? Ya, that’s classy.
Come on now. San Lorenzo deserves better. Just because it’s a dive bar doesn’t mean it can’t be tasteful and have a dress code.
As for the underage-​drinking that goes on in this place??? Hmm. A call to the health department might be in order.

So we decided to go out for drinks and good music. Well little did we know we were in for a surprise!! I feel sorry for the bar tenders. The customers were like raging animals that escaped from the jungle!!! They were really loud, rude and just no flippin class! To top it off there were women with all kinds of attire that they wore n weren’t ashamed to be in it! BIG and BOLD! Can u say Ratchet! Hella RATCHET and just No Class! I will say that the drinks were very strong and the two ticket entry fee is a good idea. We tried the «Gummy Bear» drink. So as it hit 12:30, I guess people were loaded and that’s when the drama began. The fights broke out and that was our que to get the hell outta there!!! The security guards carried taser guns, that should’ve been a signal to us. We watched from across the street about 3 – 4 fights popped off as the owners tried to close down this establishment. We also saw ppl gettin tased too! Well Usher Inn, the drinks alone won’t bring us back here!!!

Pretty much only the most awesome people in the world drink here until they are the worst people in the world. Such an environment!

So,
I go to this bar for pure entertainment. You have cool bartender guy who serves great drinks to go along with a very people oriented personality. You have the older asian (korean?) owners walking around policing the place selling some of the most… interesting…for lack of a better term, Jello Shots. Then on Fridays/Saturday’s you have a bunch of young people acting a fool, you got your ratchets, your just turned 21 and never been to a bar before, you got your wanna be thugs, and then you got your actual thugs, you’ve got your drunkies who can’t handle their liquor, the emotional drunks, the horny drunks, the idiot drinks, the bitch drunks, the attitude having drunks — its a shit show of fuckery, decent local bar for when I don’t feel like going far. Drinks are WAY over priced, so… ladies and gentlemen, pre-​game.

Cool dive bar in San Lorenzo, with full bar, pool table, music, and great outdoor patio area. A PINT O’ LAGUNITAS IPA FOR $ 3.50. What more could you ask?
(In checking the reviews, I noticed that one of the bartenders, Britney, keeps posting reviews and then having them yanked as violating Unilocal policies. DUMBASS!!! Come on now, you can’t game the system that way, hunny! But don’t let that alienate you; this is a cool little place, notwithstanding the heavy-​handed dumbassery of certain employees.)

I rarely come here because it’s not really my scene, but seeing Britney is always a plus. She is extremely talented, welcoming, and professional. Plus the drinks are cheap and they have PBR… So no complaints. Perfect dive /​neighborhood bar.

I’ve been to this spot one time and it was hella chill. They have a bartender there named Britney, that was making some great drinks! Everybody at the establishment were pretty cool from what I noticed!

Go to Usher Inn to see Britney the Bartender!!! She makes some great drinks. Britney works Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday nights and is always on the go. She makes a fantastic pomegranate mojito… one of my favorites by her. Always a good time when Britney is bartending!

This is a pretty cool bar to chill out at. The drinks are reasonable and taste great. I love the chill vibe here. I always have a great time with Britney the Bartender. She is so welcoming and full of life. I do wish they weren’t only a cash bar because I hate carrying cash, but other then that, this place is pretty awesome!

Britney is an awesome host! You walk in and instantly feel so welcomed. They play great music, pool table area, outdoor patio spot to mingle and cool off from all the dancing you’re gonna do!!! Great bar selection, too.
If you wanna hangout, feel at home and meet new people, this is the place to be. Britney will make you feel like a Star!

My girl Britney is the best bartender in town. That’s why I go to this bar. Mojito Monday’s is the bomb turned up Tuesday was the shit but any day we go we have a good time.

I had a awesome time at usher inn with britney she made me great drinks. She is the life of the party.

This place has good music and a Korean Owner who follows you around making you buy Jello Shots saying «Hurry Up and Buy.»
Korean lady owner keeps everyone in line and irritates the hell out of everyone. Crowd is Turfed out, which is fun and dangerous. Drinks are overpriced.
THIS PLACE IS COOL IF YOU’RE BORED BUT BE READY ITS CHICKEN HEAD SEASON…

One of my friends just moved closer to me so she’s inkling to explore the neighborhood. Lately, we’ve been driving around after work exploring. She saw this place in a place we didn’t expect. Nice bar, cash only so the first time we only went for a drink. The next time my friend wanted to check it out longer so we did, stayed a bit, watched a baseball game, got some snacks, talked to a lady bartender who seemed to know everybody coming in cause she greeted them like she knew them. The two times we were here seemed like they were locals but older crowd. We came on a weeknight so that’s probably why it was slower. We’ll have to check it out on the weekend, maybe invite some other friends.

It’s a small local bar that gives you that welcoming cheers vibe. Drinks are cheaper but cash only.
Crowds very friendly made really good friends here. They also have fun dance nights during the week with great djs and a juke box on the other nights.
Britney the bartender is a bundle of positive energy. Not only does she make delicious drinks she also puts a smile on your face! She’s the most sweetest person you’ll meet in your life. Go in and ask her to show you her salsa moves.

Its a hole in a wall, if your looking for a night to party this is not the place. You get the ghetto young crowd and some nights you get the quiet older crowd. God was awesome enough to put it right across the street from my job, so after a long day of dealing with peoples cars and their bullshit, this is my spot to drink and wind down with my buds from work. Only thing i hate is it cash only but hey given the area I would do the same, especially with all the identity theft and fake cards going around. Drinks are not outrageous, average prices and dave is pretty chill. The better nights were when i would race over here with my buds to finish watching the games that had been playing while we were at work (football).

This place is cool when the dj is playing here and when Dave is working the bar!
Dislike they only take cash

Typical dive bar with a ghetto twist! Dj is so so. Drinks are cheap and strong. ppl who come here hip hop young croud. It can sometimes get a little roudy. I have seen people show up in hoodys and jeans, house slippers, scarfs on their heads etc. so basically there is no dress code. The owner is a little Chinese lady who sometimes shows up and shows out if she doesn’t like what’s going on. They have a pool table, video arcade game, jukebox, and clean bathrooms.

Last time I was there I saw a guy beat up 4 russians and then drive off in his tiny honda civic which had an Operation Iraqi Freedom sticker on the back yelling «Chinga Tu Madre» = translation = «fuck your mother.» I hope these guys were ok but I left quickly after this. He was also yelling something about how John Mccain should have won the presidency and that in his mind America won Vietnam.
