Sinsheimer is a neat place to play disc golf if you want to change it up from Laguna. I believe these are the only 2 courses in SLO. This one has shorter courses than Laguna and is less maintained. All the holes are par 3 and are pretty condensed into a small space. The last time I went, the grass and weeds were quite long and sometimes you have trouble finding your disc in the grass. The scenery is nice though, there’s a little creek that runs through the park and there is the baseball field right next to it. There are multiple ditches and some of the holes are challenging. If you haven’t disc golfed before. It’s pretty much like golfing, but with a disc. The discs are different than your normal frisbee, so you would need to get one from a sports store. It is a great hobby and past time to do with friends and is something pretty unique to slo. Sinsheimer isn’t a bad course for beginners. It is smaller and has shorter holes. The hole order can get confusing if you haven’t been there before. Personally, I’d perfer Laguna Lake, but I like to change it up every once in a while. Enjoy!
