Went to get a manicure from Lisa and LOVED IT. She never disappoints. The girls in my family have been going to Lisa for years now and have followed her to a few salons she has worked in. She does such a great job and takes time to make sure your nails look great. Lisa is very sweet and knowledgable about nail polishes, styles and designs. She gives hand/​arm massage with a basic manicure which is always nice! I would recommend Lisa to anyone.

Dayna has colored and cut my hair over ten years. She has gotten to know my likes and dislikes during this time and is always open to ideas which I appreciate so much in a hairstylist.
Parking is usually not an issue. There’s a parking lot next to the salon and also street parking available.
Leave the kiddos at home though. Unless you’ve got someone else watching them during your appt. there’s a huge toy store across the street to pass the time away.
Get to San Mateo a few minutes early and you can walk to nearby Draegers and grab a pastry and coffee before your appointment.

I love this place! I was walking by and decided to stop in and she knew exactly what I wanted without me having to get too detailed. A true professional! I have super long hair and have always been very cautious about who cuts and styles it for me. Not only did my hair look and feel soft and refreshed, but I felt great. I felt welcomed and comfortable. It’s an awesome salon with good vibes :). I’ll definitely be coming back and bring my family with me! Thank you ladies!

Annette and Natalie are a twin-​duo that have both done my hair for over a decade — I’ve never been disappointed! And now that I have 2 daughters, they do a great job with them, too! Whatever you need; a cut, color, blowout, prom hair, wedding hair… They’ll take care of you! Highly recommend.

Call and schedule an appointment with Annette or Natalie and you will be happy you did. I alternate between these two stylists and I am always happy with how they take care of me. Both are super friendly and are experts in their field. I bring in pictures of looks I am interested in and they discuss how they can make it work for my hair. They are awesome! I can’t than them enough.

Dayna is the best hair stylist I’ve ever gone too! Been going to her now for about 15 + years! She is the best for color, cuts, keratin treatments whatever you need! I have referred many people to her and they all rave about her. The salon is very nice and conveniently located in downtown San Mateo in the heart of everything

Dana is the bomb! I have been going to her for at least 15 years… I drive across the San Mateo Bridge over 40 miles. but it is worth it… tried others but they can’t hold a candle to Dana… she has a great personality and is very talented with an eye for what style looks best on your shaped face, but always listening to what you want. Also most people can’t believe my hair is colored… she keeps up with the best and latest products. Highly recommend her and it is excellent value.

I am going on ELEVEN years w/​Dayna. Longer than some of my friendships. Even longer than my relationship with my husband! ;) Lots of trust built here. I adore Dayna and her talent is worth traveling over the San Mateo bridge. (As I mentioned in my old review, I used to live on Treasure Island in SF and I still made my way out to Classic Touch. So I’ve also traveled over the Bay Bridge because she’s that good!)
From what I understand, she frequently goes to conferences and workshops so she can continue to know the latest trends and techniques. And since the day I met her, she has always been professional, friendly and kind in addition to being very talented. Dayna is just plain awesome!
