If you like browsing off the beaten path Parisian style flea markets, this is the place for you. There’s lots of vintage and shabby chic stuff here including indoor and garden furniture, jewelry, crystal stemware, plates, cake domes and platters. All displays are thoughtfully arranged adding to the dark yet mysterious element of the interior space. Be sure to check out the delicate earring collections at an affordable $ 5.00. At the main patio entrance there’s a nice assortment of outdoor succulent plants artfully arranged and growing wildly in containers. There is a large birdcage stocked with live finches. Inside the shed to the right is an outdoor aquarium tank occupied by two rather oversize, well-fed turtles trying to escape their confined quarters. An interesting place to visit on a lazy Sunday afternoon. NOTE: Not sure why the hours are every third weekend but I suspect it’s a requirement to bypass storage fees or other business operating codes in San Mateo.

Looking through the locked gates like Willy Wonka’s, you hope to get an opportunity to actually step into this place. This place is always ‘closed’(gates locked) but doors open within with some cute items in the courtyard as a preview of what’s locked within. Stopped by for a 2nd time as they don’t answer the phone nor have store hours… as i passed by today, the gates were open so slightly and was told by the lady outside that they open 1 day, 3rd weekend of the month only(which was the 19th of June). Darn… oh well… i guess i will have to wait in anticipation and hope to get that ‘golden ticket’ next time. 3-stars for the cute things i did see.

I’ve been here only once, but I wish I could come more. They are never open when I come by, and they don’t answer their calls or facebook emails. Someone please, please let me know when its open! Besides that, its a super cute«thrift» store. I say«thrift» because its definitely not your Goodwill. Everything is really cute, but since I haven’t been able to get back in, I haven’t actually purchased anything. Please post your hours an let us know when others can come visit!

I was just walking by after dinner and noticed the store was open. Looks like a little event… There was some drinks and desserts! There is a really cool door(huge) outside I would really love to get as a photo prop, but it is so tall I am not sure where I can put in our backyard…

This place is SOCUTE! And totally in my backyard. Featuring a ton of mid-century French antiques which are moderately priced. Unfortunately mostly women’s apparel and items(although some really cute pieces any gay man would be happy to furnish his«cottage» with). They also have another location up B street — going there next!

My first time, and so far only, visit here last weekend was a surprising delight. I’ve discovered a gem of a shop and am excited to head back down to San Mateo and shop here again. I don’t live in San Mateo or it’s nearby cities, so it seemed like fate had brought me there. I was told the ramen restaurant next door to Come C Interiors had delicious ramen and, as I travel over seas and mountains for delicious food, I just had to make my way down the Peninsula from Daly City to give it a try. When I arrived, I immediately saw an outdoor patio setting of antiques, furniture, etc. And I don’t mean gaudy, tacky, antiques. I actually saw a ton of great knick knacks, furniture(chairs, dressers, etc), and many more lovely things that made me say«aww how pretty!» The store’s interior is quite spacious too, with pretty drapes across the ceiling. It definitely gave a quaint Paris streets-like feeling.(In fact, there was a sign in front of the store that said Paris Flea Market.) The store had everything from jewelry, clothes, furniture, household items, etc. It seemed like a store that would get a variety of products at various times, which makes me want to visit often to ensure I don’t miss out on any of the treasures. During this visit, I got a great luggage bag for only $ 25. It’s small enough to use as a carry-on, but large enough for a weekend trip. I expected it to be worn(since the store seemed to stress a vintage style), but, to my surprise, the bag looks completely new — clean interior, clean leather exterior, and sturdy straps. For just $ 25, I could not have been happier with this great find. The owner of the store helped ring me up and was very nice. She mentioned that if I put myself down on their email list, they will send out notices of shows/events they hold when they get new merchandise. I was intrigued by this and signed up. Visit the store, peruse through every nook and cranny, and hopefully you’ll find something that delightfully makes your day.

You are never open! I’ve gone by time and time again, and no one is EVER there! I’ve called the phone number, no answer and emailed, no response. How can we see what you have or don’t? For months and months I wanted information on one of your doors out front, no response. Terrible service!

Love this place. The big secret is the children cloth shop Small World Children’s Shop that is nestled inside. It is gentle worn clothes but looks new! She has great prices and also new Melissa and Doug toys at wonderful prices! The interior shop is also neat. Great gift ideas especially at Christmas!

We all have that one friend that has everything, the one you can never find that perfect gift for. Well let come c interiors cure all your woes. I wondered into this place one day on suggestion of a friend and it was incredible. They have tons of antiquey jewelry, wall décor, toys, garden decorations, i think even some lotions and soaps and a kids vintage section in the back. You’ll find yourself needing to look at every last corner of this maze of a store. Probably walking out with something for that impossible to shop for friend and yourself. Plus the girls that run the store are super laid back and down to earth.
