Tested out this place for a manicure while exploring the area for a regular go-to nail salon. Pros: –They offered me a bottle of water while I waited. — Friendly manicurist — Manicure was well done and long-lasting Cons: –She told me wait time would be 10 minutes. Turned out to be 25. –I don’t know if this is standard among nail salons now, but I wanted multicolored nails, 3 different colors total of regular nail polish, no flower or any other kind of design. However, they still considered using different nail polishes a design and I was charged $ 20 for the manicure. She did not disclose this to me before doing my nails. Will stop by here for emergency mani/pedis, but this won’t be my regular place.

I walked in while a woman(can’t remember her name) was eating and watching TV. I asked about the price for just a gel manicure and then went on to ask how much it would be to elongate my nails a bit(my nails were so bad). I said I wanted a gel manicure with some added length and she asked me if I was sure. No shit sherlock, I just told you I wanted my nails done. She began by gluing on the nails used for acrylic nail jobs, and continued by finishing with acrylic. She shaped them very weird and uneven, I had to ask her to fix them numerous times(the only reason she didn’t get an attitude I think is because I told her I work at Starbucks and she got all excited about caramel macchiatos). I always ask for my nails to be filed thin and shaped square, it didn’t happen no matter how many times I kept saying it. She did a partial gel manicure over the acrylic by only applying the base coat with gel, then she used regular nail polish to finish off. I was confused because what I am used to is totally different, but whatever its done. I paid her and left. Turns out when I get home I end up filing my nails into the shape that I originally asked for myself.

Kim, the owner is very friendly and makes you feel comfortable and relaxed. She does the BEST shellac nails; always even, no bubbles, and clean. They have a huge selection of colors. My polish usually stays on for about 3 to 4 weeks. $ 25 for shellac manicure.

I came as a walk in and just got a regular manicure for $ 12. I know that when the price is only $ 12, I am going to get minimal pampering, so I wasn’t expecting much. I don’t know the nail tech’s name… she asked me a butt load of personal questions rapid fire, like– where do I live, where do I work, how did I find this salon, who do I live with, what does my bf do for a living. Holy crap woman, relax. And when she was done with her interrogation… SILENCE. Well, silence until her cell phone rang and she stopped doing my nails in order to answer it. Then she talked on speaker phone in her language the entire time and ignored me. It was really weird and rude. The service: it was okay. My nails bubbled and I didn’t choose a color that was almost finished. The bottle was pretty damn full. If she wasn’t yapping on the phone, maybe she would’ve done a better job. I have polish on my skin and cuticles, which is just a bummer bc I’m gonna have to clean it up after I write this review. If I’m in a rush and need a place to go to, then I might go here again because 1) it’s in a convenient spot for me 2) it’s not a busy spot 3) it’s cheap. Cheap doesn’t mean quality though.
