Being a Newbie a year ago and not knowing a thing about stitching, Dale, Rhonda, Sarah and Irene have all been excellent teachers. I love the fact that I can go in anytime, get help and be able to sit and stitch. I’ve met wonderful new friends and everyone is so helpful. I’ve been to a few other shops and prices are relatively all the same but nowhere else do you have that feeling of «home» as you do at Luv2Stitch.

So sad to have to update(down date?) my previous review having gone here with such high hopes. Let this serve as a warning to all — if you take some thing here to be finished, be sure to get a FIRM price in writing. When I brought a needlepoint Xmas stocking in for finishing I was quoted a price of $ 125. When I went back today to pick up the finished product I was told it would be &186, big difference! «Oh well«she said, it is extra for the cording and the tassel and etc. not mentioned at the initial visit. Foolish, trusting me believed the woman the first time. Btw, quality of finishing work, not as good as others I have had done at other places.

I have visited many needlepoint shops over the years and Luv2Stitch tops them all. You feel like family when you are there. Dale is wonderfully talented, and amazingly helpful. Rhonda is the personality that keeps everyone coming back. She, like Dale, have so much needlepoint experience and will give you all the time and suggestions you need. They are an amazing team to work with. I have even called and ordered(I live out of the country) sight unseen and never been disappointed. A must on your needlepoint bucket list!

Great fiber selection and beautiful, unique canvasses. Dale, the owner, is knowledgeable, available for suggestions and assistance, and a creative designer himself. The shop is spacious with room to sit and stitch.

Lovely, spacious store with helpful, professional customer service. They have a nice variety of canvases and yarns with prices comparable to other shops in the Bay Area. They offer finishing service that appears to be rather good. The pieces on display were beautifully done.

Despite the goofy name, this is a nice needlepoint store with lots of finished samples and beautiful canvases for sale. The owner, Dale, also designs gorgeous needlepoint canvases, although he sells canvases from many different designers. He is friendly and helpful and showed me how to stitch so the back of my canvas didn’t look like a crime scene. The prices are steep, but I haven’t been in enough other needlepoint stores to know how they compare. Of course, no one turns to needlepoint because it seems like an expedient way to procure a coin purse or belt. There is a big table where people sometimes spend time working on their projects and chatting. I refer to these ladies as yarn store riff raff. If I had more free time I might sit and stitch there and make some new friends. I don’t do a lot of needlepoint, but this is my go to store for all needlepoint accouterments.
