Was told my food would be ready in about 2.5mins. No lines. No crowds. But NOPE, I’ve been waiting for over 17mins. The dude said he accidentally broke the hot dog on the stick a few times, and had to try again… and this sometimes happens. I’ve never seen this happen.

This place is slacking too much. Hillsdale mall opens at 10 A.M. and everybody in the food court is suppose to be ready by 10:30 A.M. The only place that hasn’t open is this place. I wanted a simple lemonade and it took them over 2 hours to prepare. I had to go buy lemonade from a different business. So disappointing.

Not my top option but I cave in once in a while. I get the beef dog and the regular lemonade. Always feel a little guilty after. ;-( Kudos to the employees for agreeing to wear their uniforms. Their HQ needs to think about this again, I am sure a lot of prospective employees don’t even apply given the prospect of wearing those uniforms.

This place has really improved. THe menu has alot more items and they have all kinds of lemonades. My new favorite is the grape lemonade. The chicken tenders are real good here too. THey’re even popular with the employees which is a plus. THey aren’t greasy and they have a slight crunchiness, yet so fluffy and moist. They are perfectly just how I like my tenders. SOmetimes I like to watch them squish the lemons. The staff here is great too, whoa in the past I’ve had employees here with some real attitudes an I’ve even had one jump over the counter and try to fight me an threaten my life a lil. He obviously hated his life along with the others. Now tho, you can’t really tell if they hate there life an those are the kind of employees you want to be dealing with. I like this place, I’ll definitely be back. I think next time I come in I’ll be getting a hot dog on a stick.

This isn’t about you — not about your childhood, your family and friends, or even your own enjoyment. This is about an alternative to drugs and sexually transmissited disease. Except for weed and most sexually transmissited diseases. The dog is removed from a countertop refrigerator by a colorfully clad youngster employee. At least at heart and in dress. It’s then dipped in the special sauce and fried. You wait, you gather mustard and ketchup. You walk, dog and shoppe. Rip a hole, with your yellowred stained dipstick, in the space time continuum and go into Apple. No servings of fruit, no smiles from the 35 y/o youngster employees. It’s not about your childhood, fellas, I assure them as I leave to… The Shoppe of course, the best h-stick-lotion-handsany time you can imagine in one mall. Thanks corn and meat, for my radiant complexion. Yeah, tey got lemonade but don’t drink it… The youngsters save the best batch for themselves in the back.

Idk if its just this location. But did their trays get smaller? Leading to smaller portions? Wasn’t so pleased with paying almost $ 3 for a kids sized order at McDonald’s. And I remember the fries I used to eat from here not being salted. My order was salted to the max! I even had to take a napkin and dust off any salt that I could because I couldn’t handle it. I’m not docking stars because of this location, but the company itself if its them that changed how their product is.

The Lemonade really is the clincher. The regular and the cherry are both spectacularly tart. Prices are great, and I’ve even been to a party where they catered and fried up the dogs and cheese fresh!

The store manager Ranier is really friendly which gives me a reason to always come to this place and grab a little snack during my break. The customer service here is excellent and the food is always enjoyable.

Who has been to a mall and never seen or tried a Hot Dog on a Stick lemonade. Time and time again, their lemonade is pretty spot on consistent. Perfect sweetness to sour ratio. Each time I visit a mall and feel thirsty, this is the place I’ll visit to quench that thirst. I noticed recently they introduced frozen lemonades. I wanted to try it this last time I was here, but the machine was broken. Oh well. I’ll try it some other time.

A favorite childhood memory and a food that I still enjoy. Deep fried hotdogs or cheese dogs with freshly squeezed icy lemonade.
