Well stocked Latin market. Lots of Argentinian products. An entire gondola worth. Highly recommended for all sorts of Argentina/Uruguay stuff.

Its very simple! their prices are really good and they have a good selection of the daily items I need to cook my Mexican recipes! I love the fact that they are trying their best to keep the prices reasonable.

The friendly folks in the little restaurant in the back serve AMAZING central american food(best pupusas since we moved back to the States).

Love this little store! It has everything my Guatemalan family needs to make the perfect meals at home :-) People there are really nice as well! One time it was late and we were making some food at home and were missing an ingredient! OHNO! Well we went to the store and they were closing up! I ran and almost fell on my face! But the kind lady working allowed me to look for and purchase that one last item we needed. ANDWEALLATEHAPPILYEVERAFTER! =]

This is a review by a vegetarian This is a well stocked little latin grocery. There are bulk beans and dried peppers and some culture specific produce. Not super-cheap but a good value. They used to carry Havana Alfajores from Argentine but now carry some other brands. Am tempted to buy a jar of dulce de leche and make some myself. Even to my veggi nose the pork smells at lunch time seem appealing

The great thing about being a Filipino is that our cuisine often overlaps with Latino cuisine and being in the Bay Area, there were plenty of Latino markets to go around and this was the closest one. Go figure. So, when my mom forgot to buy something for her dish, she’d send me to this market which was within walking distance to our house. The place itself is rather cramped, but the items were quite cheap and their produce was pretty good most of the time.

This is a pretty large Latin market with all types of goodies. Of course the co-workers and I were making the post lunch Paleta dessert run. I’m glad to say I’ve found the second, 2 for $ 1 place. Tried the coconut and piña colada flavors. Damn tasty but equally as bad for you. I think I’ve had 60% of my saturated fat today.

I’ve gone to this market for two important staples of my diet: 40’s and loose leaf yerba. And for all you mate drinkers in the area(there’s probably four of us, including myself and best friend) the selection here is a literal gold mine. Every type of Carnarias and Rosamonte imaginable as well as creepy, awesome brands with weird flavors. We’d be lost without this place. One time I was here and they were roasting chilies in back but didn’t try to ventilate the place very well. The fumes and vapors are pretty much a unidirectional form of mace. So all these old mexican ladies and I started tearing up and coughing. You don’t understand how potent this stuff is… I could feel liquid building up in my lungs. At first I was scared, thinking someone was cleaning and had mixed bleach and ammonia accidentally. YES I thought someone had made mustard gas. Obviously this was not the case. Sigh. That was fun. Why three stars for a place that is so important to my livelihood? Eh, I dunno. I’d really give it 3.89 stars but whatever. Three is acceptable because despite the rad mexican market atmosphere it is still just a dirty market that carries a lot of stuff I don’t particularly give a shit about.
