7 – 11 has the space with many popular tenants so parking is difficult brew: exclusive coffee(sm1.35) –tasted funny, brazilian roast was out –quick service drips: –coffee all i needed. food not so edible here.

Too meny dudes just hanging out right in front. There’s also a lack of parking anywhere.

Oil stained pavement, gum littered sidewalks, a logistically complicated, inadequate and darn near impossible parking lot and an awkwardly placed Recology trash corral plague this little 7-Eleven. But it all seems to come together in a polished, quick, efficient and friendly staff. If this is your go-to for brew, save your trip for late in the 7 o’clock hour as droves of day workers tide the coffee station up until then.(Just a tip: This 7-Eleven carries pumpkin spice and other seasonal favorites past November). But even with heavy patronage and a small location I’ve never seen them run out of anything. The stress of long lines are extinguished with engaging smiles and fast service. I personally know most of the staff on a first name basis, and they always acknowledge me when I walk in. Other than this, this is a 7-Eleven.

Abrupt knock down to two stars. Thanks to going twice this week and having to circle the block after driving through the tiny parking lot in order for parking to have finally appeared. Mark H. said there are some shady characters lurking around even during the daytime, and I noticed a few. But what aggravated me the most was on Friday when some guy in a San Mateo Police Dept. cart randomly clogged up the works by just not moving for like two minutes. Sitting in the middle of the lane, barely not enough on either side of him to move around. What the heck?! That said, I still like the 7 – 11 itself because of the generally friendly and patient staff and $ 1.00 sausage biscuits that are usually pre-heated and always tasty. OTOH, the fact that parking is difficult there and it’s such a busy store says a lot about the store itself. If not for the outlined negatives, this location would still deserve four stars.

So my co-worker has some weird arrangement with his credit union where if he goes to a 7-Eleven and uses their ATM, there are no fees. Weird. So we walk in, he’s getting his money and some dude keeps yelling, «Save the Arctic!!!». WTH?

A quick in and out stop to pick up ice. They have plenty. They were all solid blocks. The cooler doesn’t really care. Good place for those times when you just want to stop and grab something quick. Be it food, drinks, or whatever … at all hours.
