We had a headlight go out, so I checked out the reviews of auto parts stores in San Mateo as I was going to be in the area. I called first to make sure the part was in stock, and they were very helpful and even quoted me the price. When I arrived, Roush greeted me, found my part, went with me to help me take the old part out, and then helped me put the new part in. Unbelievable customer service. I highly recommend O’Reilly Auto Parts!

This O’Reilly is the best! Roush was so helpful when I had a problem replacing the parking lights of my Honda Pilot. He and the other Hispanic guy (sorry, I forgot his name) went above and beyond in helping me change the bulb. Very friendly staff and has the desire to help their customers. Excellent customer service!

I received great help here from the Asst Mngr Roushe. This is the reason I still shop at brick-​and-​mortar stores for auto parts — the friendly and knowledgeable staff. Online stores offer tons of options but it can be hard to know which parts are best and to be confident that they’re indeed the right parts. Getting help from staff members that have a database of information and hands-​on experience makes all the difference. And the price for the auto parts I needed were actually less expensive here at O’Reileys! Thanks!

Close by to my house which makes it a plus but also they always have what u need for a cheap price compared to when I go to a mechanic and they give three times the price of this place. Open long hours and staff is very friendly and helpful …

The staff here is pretty knowledgeable about minor maintenance stuff – they have a had a few good ideas for my work. Small store but is well stocked. Think it is better now than when it was kragen.

Shop is Clean, not crowded, friendly staff, good selections and wide parking.

Gas Cap on my clunker broke. (luckily it was AFTER I had filled up my empty tank and not prior to filling it up)… Couldn’t find easy way (online) to remove it (drilling holes into the gas cap!?! wtf?) BUT, you’d be surprised how may search results there are for «How do I remove my broken gas cap?»
Anyway, took quick lunch break to the neighborhood Kragen-O’Reilly Auto-​Parts. Eugene, was super helpful (and friendly) and got in in-​n-​out animal style quick. He even suggested that I roll across the street to the auto service shop and ask them to help me out instead of trying to McGyver it myself.
The auto-​service station popped off the broken gas cap in… less than 1 minute. FTW!
