Safari Run

I’d give Safari Run TEN stars if I could.
We just got home from my son’s 6^th birthday. The facility was clean, staffed with SUCH professionals, and really well organized.
Today is an especially hot day and facility was nice and cool and comfortable. This is super important to our family as we get quite uncomfortable in the heat.
While it’s not cheap to have a party here, it’s really top notch.
Thank you to the staff today ⁵⁄₁ at Safari Run. You did a standup job.

This place is awesome! Being a germaphobe mother of two, I was hesitant to book a party for a bunch of kids at any place where germs can gather and hide, but low and behold, Safari Run proved to be a place that I can trust. Right off the bat, I noticed how wide open and clean this place was. The pictures online don’t do it justice with how large of a space this place has. When the party started, the staff members hosting the party laid all the ground rules and the first being to organize your shoes in the cubbies then immediately wash and sanitize your hands prior to entering the play area. I also noticed after each party that there was a staff member cleaning the facility with a sanitizing vacuum cleaner including the interior of the whole play structure! The staff members and hosts were so professional, friendly and nice and they were excellent party hosts. All the kids had such a great time climbing the play structure and going down all the slides! You can just hear the joy in their voices as they laughed the whole time during the party. I would highly, highly recommend this place to any parent wanting to just kick back and relax while doing very little planning for a child’s birthday party. The staff is very professional and knows how to host any party. If there was really anything I’d have to recommend to Safari Run, it would just be that parking can be a bit of a challenge and the capacity limit is a bit tight, but other than that, 2 thumbs up for sure!

I’ve been to a few birthday parties here and the kids really seem to enjoy their time. The employees are really nice and the place feels clean. The second time I came the computers were all down — which is probably better because signing in with the computer causes a line when there’s a larger party. I also wish they had more parking spots, but we can usually find street parking within a block or two away.

My kid loves to play here. She would go back at any time.

I just had my daughter’s 4^th birthday party here and had a wonderful experience. Initially, I was worried about not being able to arrange my own food/​decorations, but it ended up being the best thing ever! It was so nice not to have to worry about food preparation, serving, and cleaning up. The pizzas and fruit and cake was plenty. The place is so much fun for their age group. I just wish there was an option to pay extra for more time in the play structure. I am really glad we did the package with arcade time. The kids loved every minute of it and because we weren’t stressed about ensuring everyone was fed, we were able to enjoy the party and talk to our guests. Highly recommend and will definitely be coming back here for future parties. Worth the $$$.

I have been to this place and I have alway had a wonderful experience.
Employees are always super nice and yes, hey might seem very very strict but that’s part of the charm of this place. Clean and organized no matter how crazy that sounds.
They ONLY tiny itty bitty thing I would suggest is high chairs for birthday parties. I went to one today and everything was amazing and wonderful but a few moms where there holding their babies barely being able to eat or do anything else for that matter LOL. I felt so bad for them!
But well, other than that it was great! :D

This place is great for small parties and kids ages 2 – 8. We had my daughters 4^th birthday here yesterday.
Pros: the staff here are so friendly and do everything from entertaining the kids to serving your food and drinks to guests. They even help unload and load your car.
The place is very clean and it’s closed off for your party.
They are very organized and manages time pretty well.
The arcade ending is great for the kids who come late and miss the playground part. They are all child friendly and win prizes.
Another con is that they include little infants and newborns as a head when they don’t even do much but sit there.
Cons: street parking may be a problem. I heard Sunday’s are better bc the dmv is closed. The cake time feels a little rushed with lunch and cake. You also are not allowed to hang a banner on the wall, so it’s a little hard to take pictures. Maybe it’s a Good idea to put a birthday sign in the arcade area since kids are there longer.
Overall I had a great experience here. It’s great for small parties, which is what I was looking for dirty.

Love it! Took 2 of my daughters for drop in play, my 8yr old had a great time while my 2yr old was a bit scared. She was also too small, she couldn’t climb up to get to certain areas so I of course had to help out. I think it’s great for ages ¾ & up.
Will go back again.

Nice and clean indoor place for my kids to play!!! A bit expensive though; hope for better deals.

This review is long overdue. I hosted a Birthday party here last year and was so impressed by the professionalism and creativity of their staff. The party was perfect. The staff leaders ensured the kids had a great time. They were both interactive and age appropriate. After playtime in their «safari» gym and group games, the kids moved into the party room for Pizza and cake. I didn’t have to do ANY of the work. Their staff coordinated the pizza, drinks, and cake.
It was a seamless experience and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a quality venue for their child’s Birthday party.

We had my sons 3^rd birthday here last weekend! Everything was wonderful. It was a hit with all the kids and adults. It was so nice to just show up and everything was taken care of. Everyone who helped with our party was so nice. I really like that they clean the play structure in between parties. Highly recommend to everyone! We will for sure be coming back! Worth every penny!!!

WOW! Customer service is not dead! Crystal did a great job with confirmation, follow up and organization both leading up to and day of, my son’s 5^th birthday party. The staff was phenomenal and so great with both kids and adults. Thank you for a wonderful and EASY birthday experience!

Kids always have a great time and they are super tired when they are done. Don’t forget your socks!

This review is specifically about their camps (although we do love open play and have had 2 birthday parties here which were both great!) This is our second year of Summer camp at Safari Run and my kids LOVE it. They want to go back again and again. The camp is very well structured and organized. You receive a full schedule of all activities for the week before your camp starts. The schedule lists what crafts they’ll be doing, what games they’ll be playing, what things they’ll be learning, what presenters will be coming and what healthy snacks they’ll be eating! My kids have even learned how to read nutrition labels on food and how to make healthier food choices. The space is super CLEAN as they make that a focus at Safari Run. All the kids must wash their hands as soon as they walk into the play area. I’ve never been at a camp that is so well planned out.
I also love the drop off and pick up process. On the first day, you drop them off inside so they can check you in but for the rest of the week they have camp staff outside to sign the kids in/​out and to keep the cars moving (parking is not so fun in that area). You must show ID each time which gives me peace of mind as a parent. Drop off and pick up never takes more than 2 minutes each day. We also recognized many of the same staff members this year as there were also there last year. That says a lot when your employees like to stick around for a long while!
Finally, at the end of the week, they send you a shutterfly album of all the pictures they took at camp that week. I LOVE THAT THEY DO THIS! It allows me to get a glimpse into everything they did and to see so many smiles on all of the kids faces is just priceless. I will be taking my kids here again and again until they outgrow it!
Word of advice: If you buy your camps early in the year (Feb or March, I think), you can save a lot of $$$ and get 20−30% off.

Took my nephew here. Was thinking it was like the jungle play gym from when I was a kid. It’s no where near that awesome.

I gave my daughter her 3^rd birthday party here 2/16/14.It was amazing! I’m extremely critical about anywhere I’m spending my money. If I’m spending then I want quality.. Let me start by saying the staff is on point. They don’t bother you while you’re having your child’s party. One of the ladies encourage my daughter to go down the steep slide (she wasn’t scared anymore & did it several times after the staff member left). My company was complimenting this place the whole time.
I would definitely tell someone to give their child’s party here.

***Also make sure if you have a party of 45 NOTE you’ll spend about $ 300 or more just in food. (After the kids play & you watch them play EVERYONE IS HUNGRY). BTW yes their food is good. My family can eat and they didn’t complain. My mistake was I DIDNT order enough food. So we let the kids eat first & whatever was left over whoever wanted something ate.***
NOTE TO STAFF~~~ please make sure when ppl are having large parties you encourage them to purchase 2 – 3 orders of whatever their choices are or 1 of everything LOL.
***This place is also extremely clean. When I walked in I seen the guy on the play structures spraying disinfectant & wiping everything down. When my party arrived the staff member requested that the kids wash their hands for 20 seconds AFTER taking their shoes off. (Thumbs up) The one thing we don’t want to bring home is GERMS***

I recently held my daughter’s 4^th birthday party here and I was definitely impressed! The facility is clean and the staff members are friendly. They accommodated all of my requests for her party and even helped me load her presents and left over food in the car. They assisted with serving food to our guests and helped keep the party organized. They’re party package prices are reasonable considering all you have to do is show up and they take care of the rest.
The only down side I could think of is the parking situation… however they do reserve 2 spaces in front for the parents of the birthday celebrant.
Overall, I’m more than satisfied with safari run and would definitely throw another party here!

I like this place. It’s not that big and I would say its best for children 6 and under. It’s similar to Safari Jungle but not as big. I didn’t see any place to buy food in there, just a little stand with some snacks and an area for birthday parties. But it’s clean and the staff is friendly. They should make the teeny tot area bigger though.

Safari Run!
My little nephew came up to visit on a weekday, so we decided to take him here to run around during their open play sessions.
He’s only one and since the place was not crowded, adults were allowed in. We chased the little guy around the place. You can tell he and the other kids were having a blast!
$ 7 gets you an hour of play. We were there at 10:30 am and stay til about 11:30 am. It was worth the money spent.
The staff is friendly and the gym is super clean.

Went here to celebrate my nephew’s daughters’ birthday party. Yes, I’m getting old. Pretty soon, they’re gonna be calling me grumpy old man.
On second thought… my kids already call me that.
But back to this place.
Usually, if you attend kids parties, it can get pretty boring for adults and older kids. My kids are at the stage now where they are too cool to hang out with the parents and can’t really do much at kid parties — except to play with their portable game system or text away on their cellphones.
This place is different and I quite enjoyed myself… as well as my older kids. For starters, they have the playground for the little kids as well as a track to run themselves silly. The safari concept and design is incorporated on everything.
For the adults, they have large screen monitors on every room. They have a lounge on the second floor to relax in and get away from the kids but still keep an eye on them. They also have two computer terminals which my son and I took quick advantage of. When they ushered us in the dining area, having a monitor there helped us keep track of the Giants game.
But we all know how these places work: everything is timed so one party gets ushered in from one place to the next. However, with all these little touches, they really factored in the experience for the adults as well as the kids.
Both kids and adults would leave very happy.
