I needed flowers delivered out of state for a friends birthday. Joey was able to arrange a beautiful bouquet delivered in a timely manner at a very competitive price. Thanks for making me look like a hero.

Ordered and paid for a bouquet of a sentimental type of flower for a friends birthday and she received something entirely different

I received a birthday delivery from South Shore Flowers at work from my boyfriend. The flowers were beautiful and it was purely their arrangement since my bf just requested the bouquet to have calla lilies (my fav) and blue flowers. He had to rely on them because he was not able to see the final product before delivery. I know they take telephone orders. Not sure what the prices were or what the delivery charges were but I guess they are within delivery distance to the hospital.

this review is based on an FTD delivery order. My bf ordered flowers for my b day and did not arrived as ordered! Called in to FTD to complain and they got on the line with the florist to see what exactly happened with the delivery. They gave some BS excuse and promised to make the arrangement bigger and with more flowers to make up for their mess up. Next day came and no yet again no flowers! Called FTD again and could not understand their rep. Said something about redelivering the next day. Third day and guess what? Nothing again! called and in and got the same lame excuse, ‘sorry, will deliver a big bouquet’ blah, blah, blah… they finally came and it was a small ass bouquet! I asked the delivery guy what the hell did he just bring me? very rude he replies, ‘I knew you were going to say that” No mother effer, you don’t know me or what i would say. But you did know that you were bringing me a crappy ass bouquet that says happy mothers day when you wrote out the card that says happy birthday. I tell him, «my bf did not spent $ 100 on this small ass bouquet» and he replies with «you did not spend $ 100.00» He goes on saying that he’s sorry that the bouquet didn’t arrive earlier because his employees didn’t want to drive to all the way over here to deliver them. WOW! And this guy is the owner!!! He then just says for me to keep the bouquet and bolted so fast before I could finish chewing his ass up. the bouquet was so small, nothing what my bf originally ordered and the flowers were old and wilted. I wouldn’t want to take these back to my store to sell either.
Man, you would think the owner would at least make up a better excuse as to why they didn’t deliver the flowers sooner or at least be nice and/​or understanding. What a pos! I called FTD and demanded a refund, which they did, buy i hope never to deal with these arsholes again.

The owners are great. The flowers are beautiful and prices are so reasonable. This is truly another San Pedro gem. They also deliver locally for free with a minimum charge of 40 dollars I believe.
