I come here every week, friendly people, good coffee, and there’s never really a long line. I’m glad to get my coffee from here, at the same time supporting a small, family business(I think).

The coffee is really quite good; five stars. But… I’m subtracting one star because the woman working there was pretty unfriendly. I mean, not overtly rude, but she acted like my simple coffee order was really inconveniencing her, despite not having any other customers. Maybe I just got her on a bad day. I’d still go again; great coffee reasonably priced.

Popped in for coffee based on the other positive Unilocal reviews and have to say I concur. Coffee was fabulous. The lady who was serving was lovely and friendly too.

Having two pounds shipped every two weeks is one of the wisest financial, psychological and emotional decisions I’ve ever made in my life. Every morning for the past 8 months has been greeted with the joyous smell of your local roasted coffee. Thank you! I don’t know who you are, but I love your coffee. :)

Time: 2:47pm/63°F broken clouds Purpose: Place was up for review base on statics. Me and coworker said let’s do this so off we went. My assistant didn’t want any coffee at the time but went in also, instead of waiting in car. Ambiance: From the outside looking at it one would miss it due to it’s location. For those working nearby they know the establishment well enough. Building looks more like those self storage you lock it yourself type. Outside has 5 table and chairs the tables are chain up to a 75lb block of cement. Inside has no seating only a counter holding espresso machine, grinder, sneeze glass, a Samsung tablet for payment. Back corner has a mini coffee roaster by The San Franciscan with gold plating venting through the ceiling. A small table holding three airpots for coffee choices along with lids, stirrers, sugar, milk, sleeves. Make sure to check out the cold brew extract set up, very unique. There’s also a mini fridge for those who may not drink coffee, fill with soda and juices. Staff: Older lady with glasses not sure if owner or worker friendly cordial explaining their blends and how it’s made. There was no upsell or asking you to buy this and that that tells you they’re legit. Cleanliness: No complaints it’s a coffee place expect some grinds to be around. Eats/Drinks: A cup of large white mocha $ 3.95 very flavorful got a shot of vanilla syrup on the house. It’s better than starbux not kidding around here, I was never a starbux person anyway. Products: Beans whole/grinded, mighty tea leaf, sodas, juices, sweets/snacks, bulk coffee, energy bars, awesome bars, 1883 syrups, Astra espresso machine. Punch Lines: Industrial area, Fiorello’s ice cream/sorbet across the street, busy street, business loop, private lot, share business building, bus stop, motels, car dealerships, roasted in house, vintage antique equipment, strong brew, friendly, pay by tablet, outside seating, low foot traffic area. Sign say they take bitcoins too! Tradeoffs: You come here to get in house roasted on the spot, versus outsourced deliver coffee, that may loose their flavor due to shipping/handling. Final Thoughts: What a great place to enjoy cuppa joe and know that it’s done in house. I’ve nothing to say other than if you’re a coffee person this place is certainly worth a try. Want to have new friends? Buy them a cup their remember you for sure. Only thing here is they’re closing early I think 3:30pm at that time you shouldn’t be drinking caffeine anyways.

Fantastic cup of coffee. Love the fact you get a discount if you bring in your own mug! Delicious and the owner is very friendly. Worth the cup of Joe!!!

Local coffee shop by my job is very nice to have! The person who runs the place is very friendly and very welcoming! I can talk to this guy all day! As I arrive he already knows what to make me. I normally get hot chocolate to warm my mornings up with a small cookie. If you bring in your own cup then coffee is $ 1. Reasonable prices and they have smoothies as well which runs about the same price as Jamba Juice. Supporting a local business is nice and seeing good people do well is satisfying. They have a few selections for pastries since it is a small coffee shop so get there early to get the best ones available. Tip: Scan your Spot ON card to tack on points in order to get rewarded. Some of the local businesses use these cards for one to add points!

WOW every review is 5 stars! Any I know why… This place is awesome! Super friendly staff and delicious coffee. Great prices and you gotta love the unique tip jar :) But don’t let your navigation trick you. Tom and Dave’s is in the corner! If you are coming from Irene street be sure to turn right into the parking lot before the light! My navigation decided to take me to the other«industrial building» at 3095 kerner that is a little past this delicious coffee shop.

Hands down, this is the BEST coffee in Marin. It’s literally right around the corner from where I work, yet I never ventured in there until a few months ago. I’m hooked now, there’s no turning back! Their iced coffee is terrific on a warm day and it’s super-duper caffeinated. I usually get one in the afternoon and I’m good to go for the rest of the day. Their regular coffee is fantastic too. If you bring your own cup they only charge you a buck, which is an awesome deal. There is something to be said for coffee that is roasted on the premises. I have a friend who has just recently gotten into the roasting business and I’ve learned a lot about the process from her and now I know that it’s the only way to go.

Tom & Dave’s coffee is the best. Hands down. It’s the only brand of coffee I buy to keep at home. I first discovered them at The Pelican Inn in Muir Beach, CA. No matter who brews it there, or when, the coffee always tastes amazing. This speaks volumes about their roasting process and quality control. Their team is friendly and educated; their new café is charming. Best coffee in Marin and parts beyond. Give this amazing small business your patronage!

this coffee is so delicious. i made the mistake of trying another place closer to my house this morning, it was so bad i poured it out and ran over to get a real cup of coffee here. glad to have something other than starbucks to choose from and stoked that they opened the bar to get coffee by the cup.

For anyone who thinks customer service is a thing of the past, you need to go to Tom and Daves and have your faith in humanity restored. I took some parts of my ailing espresso machine here, Chris did what I had tried to do for 3 days in about 15 seconds and didn’t charge me for it. I couldn’t walk out of there in good conscience without buying an espresso, donut and pound of coffee, all of which were exceptional.

Found this place because our expresso machine needed a tune-up. Chris fixed it in no time and determined the real problem when it had been into another place 3 times without any luck. The place smelled soooo good that I bought a couple of punds of beans — one for the machine and one for a friend. Verdict from us both was excellent. I had been buying Rulli’s but Tom & Dave’s is fresh roasted and tastes fresher.

«Knock Knock» «Whose there?» «Good Coffee?» «Good Coffee Who?» Oh, Tom & Dave’s silly! Now that this extremely lame display of humor is out of the way let’s be serious. Tom & Dave’s is great coffee. All of the blends are high quality but the Mocha Java and Java are epic! My only compliant, I cannot get there during business hours. Quick note, if you find you have purchased too much coffee and you need assistance there are some lovely gentlemen around the corner offering assistance? Well, that last comment may lack taste but Tom & Dave’s coffee is full of taste!

They engender trust. When i drop off my machine I know I won’t get a phony story. I have an older machine and don’t make a big deal about parts being hard to find. They just get job done. I wouldn’t bring my machine anywhere else.

I have a four month old son who does not react well to caffeine in his breast milk. I have a very picky palate that does not react well to gross, watery decaf coffee. Tom & Dave have solved both our problems. If their decaf is this good, I can’t WAIT to try their REAL stuff!
