This park is in a quiet residential neighborhood on Oleander Drive. It almost feels like a private neighborhood park, but has signage that lets you know everyone is welcome. It is a small park with limited resources but everything it has, it does well. There is a nice grassy field in the middle, with a path going partway around it. This field would be good for playing impromptu sports, even though it’s not fully level. There is a nice playground and swingset for kids, including one of my favorite kids toys I’ve seen, which is a digging machine that kids can sit on and dig up the sand. Very fun! The best part about this park is that there is a picnic table and it comes with a barbecue grill! Without the grill I would say this park is nothing special(especially since there’s only one picnic table), but the grill just raised the property value. Of course, if it’s in use then you’re out of luck. When I came to this park, there were people sitting at the picnic table, clearly holding it for a party they were planning on having later that day. So it seems like if you want to plan a barbecue here, you better be ready to stake your claim on the picnic table before someone else does!
