Tomasi Design

Tomasi Design is a preferred subcontractor for the GC who was responsible for the extensive remodeling of our fire-​damaged home.
Chris Tomasi worked with us on the design and layout of cabinetry in the kitchen, pantry, living room, and bathrooms. The scope of the work was, therefore, considerable, requiring cabinetry designs for rooms with very different functions.
Chris constructed all of the cabinetry and then pretty much installed all of it himself, down to the placement of the knobs and pulls.
Well, let me just say that the quality of work was exceptional. The cabinets were wonderfully assembled, with the most advanced hardware. Chris ensured that the cabinets were flawlessly installed – even with the inevitable unevenness of walls and ceilings. He arranged for the cabinets to be spray painted, ensuring a superior finish for the wood.
I mean, all the cabinetry looks just grand. You could go over them with a fine tooth comb (if you were so inclined) and not find any imperfections. The cabinetry blends seamlessly with the counters, fixtures, wall
space and appliances; in a word, the cabinetry seems as if it has always been there. You have to remind yourself of the consummate skill
required to yield this ‘natural’ appearance.
Chris Tomasi is a genuine craftsman, utterly meticulous and wholly committed to the client’s satisfaction. Actually, he doesn’t need to be so committed; the client is already perfectly satisfied.

Chris did an amazing job of customizing our beloved 1950’s built-​in cabinet with a modern tv lift system. We gave him the difficult task of cramming the biggest tv we could find into a tiny, narrow cabinet. Then he encased the tv with a beautiful frame, which perfectly matches the original wood of the cabinet. He also updated the vintage speaker grill and thoughtfully repaired broken hinges. It was a very difficult project that required someone with strong technical skills, talent, and good taste. Chris is fast and affordable for the quality of work he produces. We will definitely be using Chris again for our kitchen and bathroom remodels, as well as some custom furniture pieces.

Thanks to Chris Tomasi Design for for taking our vision of the bedroom furniture and bringing it to reality. Designed by Michael Montoya (MMGD) and Chris Tomasi, the custom headboard with aluminum inlay, valance, floating nightstands, built-​in casework and shelves are made of Madagascar ebony. The complete remodel includes Custom furniture, lamps, carpeting with radiant heat, custom curtains and multiple shades of paint. We are very pleased with the final project and would recommend Chris.

If you are looking for someone who can read your mind when it comes to design ideas, inside or out, this is the guy! He is reliable, fast, and extremely easy to work with. He is a cabinet maker, but can do just about any kind of wood work. I asked for a window seat: he did it exactly how I wanted. I longed for the gate of my dreams and he created it. I could not believe it when I went to work it was the old gate and when I arrived home that evening, like magic Chris had installed the new one! I described the bathroom I wanted and he produced it! He had to work long distance with the granite supplier and naturally it came out beautifully. Chris is not limited. Use your imagination and Chris will make it a reality. My only wish is that I had more money so I could keep him forever
