My son had is car(Karmann Ghia) towed to Veri at the recommendation of a garage that works on one of our other classic cars. He needed his car fixed in a hurry as he was heading back to school in Portland in a few days. Ben dropped everything he was working on and tackled the project. 24 hours later my son was back on the road. Ben took the time to not only fix the original issue but he went through the engine and fine-tuned it. The price was very reasonable! I wish all garages and mechanics were like Veri and Ben.

I drive a 1973VW Superbug. After many attempts for years to find a mechanic who really knows VWs, I was fortunate to find VERI. Dan and now Ben have been caring for my Bug. I had it towed to Ben last week as it stalled at every stop and passing through neutral shifting gears. He tweaked it on the spot so I could make it home and drive over the weekend until a replacement carburetor was delivered. He installed it Monday, in 30 min., while I waited. Ben is a genius when it comes to diagnosing, troubleshooting and resolving any issue you take to him, sometimes on the spot. I look forward to taking my Bug in for a tune up in January. As a prior review says, «Ben is Mr. VW.» A really nice guy too!

I go to Veri a lot to get our company Air-cooled VW buses fixed. This place is what all mechanic shops should be. Dan recently retired and sold the business to Ben a former employee. Ben is mr. VW. He truly loves VW’s(Driving a 63 Bug with a huge motor) and wants to keep as many as he can on the road. I would not have our company vehicles on the road if it wasn’t for him

Dan at Veri-Volkswagon is an amazing mechanic, and an even more amazingly nice guy! I was having trouble figuring out what my 1971 Transporter needed for some services at Jiffy Lube… i called him for engine specs, knowing I was at another shop, and not only was he incredibly knowledgeable and immediately without hesitation answered my questions gracefully, but when I drove up to visit him an hour later at Veri-Volkswagon in San Rafael, he helped me with a constant smile and patience with a know-nothing-about-cars guy like me and sent me on my way with a new fuel filter and the necessary lines attached, and a few other items and information for $ 5 dollars, without any reservation or wait time. Plus, I had only $ 3 cash in my wallet, and he graciously took that as full payment! What a great mechanic! I will post this to as many review sites for him as I can, let the people know! VISITVERI-VOLKSWAGONINSANRAFAELFORREALHANDSONPROFESSIONALEXPERIENCEWITHYOURVINTAGE VWs, for a GREATPRICE and a GREATVISIT!!! Thank you sooooo much, Dan! See you soon!

Dan is the MAN! We have been taking our ’84 Vanagon to him for over a year now and he has proven to be the best mechanic we’ve encountered. If you know this vehicle, you know there is always some kind of work to be done on it and it is extremely hard to find a solid mechanic who knows his/her way around these vehicles. Dan always does great work and treats us fairly. He is very upfront and honest about what needs doing and what doesn’t. Working on old Volkswagons may sometimes seem like a thankless pursuit, but Dan truly shows his appreciation for these vehicles in the quality of his work. Thanks Veri!
