Chase Bank

No complaints! Super helpful every time I come, though I must note that I do not come often because there is no need for me to.
I got my first debit card here and the man was so nice and helped me out and made the process so simple.

Chase bank is getting ridiculous now. It closed my mother’s bank account for no reason. Then it called us to re-​open. After two weeks, the account got closed again.

Who really goes to the bank anymore? With automated banking, direct deposit, etransfers, etc., I rarely go to a branch. However, if I have to, I usually frequent this location. The tellers are very friendly and helpful. This branch is relatively new, so it’s still nice and updated. They have an ATM inside and outside. I prefer the inside one for security. You can still access when the branch is closed, just swipe your card at the door. I love Quick Pay!!! I use it all the time. Super convenient and easy to use. Transfers are fast! Trumps Wells Fargo person to person transfers.

This is the ABSOLUTE WORST institution EVER!!! Wow. Chase doesn’t want to nickle and dime you, they just want to dollar you to death, and they have no shame in their corrupt game. Try closing an account without getting some fee (and then another). I dare you.
Jan 30 — I’m trying to close the account and remove all funds leaving me with a ZERO balance. They say I can’t close the account that day although I don’t remember why.
Jan 31 — They charge me a «Service Fee» for not having a balance. Leaving me with a -$ 15 balance.
Feb 6 — They tell me they’ve paid an auto debit ING Policy of $ 15.58.
Feb 6 — They charge me an «insufficient funds fee» of $ 34.00 leaving with a bigger negative balance of $ 64.58
Feb 6 — They charge me with another «Service Fee» of $ 15 bringing the negative balance up to $ 79.58.
They call me every day, 10 times a day, to harass me about to bringing my account back to «good standing».
Feb 21– I go in and speak with a nice lady who credits the account $ 49 leaving the account at negative $ 30.58. Which I pay. Thinking they paid the ING policy and I’ll pay a fee for for that (100% profit they’ve made off my ING policy) Leaving the account at ZERO. She says she can’t close it until the account is in good standing but she will watch it to make sure it does.
Feb 22 — They charge the account an «extended overdraft fee» and add $ 15 to the account bringing it back up to negative to $ 45.58.
Feb 23 — They charge the account with another «Service Fee» and bring the account back up to $ 60.58
March 5 — I get a call from the said nice lady saying there is a balance on the account and she can’t close an account with a negative balance. I’m confused because I had just paid to bring the account to a ZERO balance. (Remember they said they paid the (auto debit ING Policy of $ 15.58.)
The nice lady says they can’t reverse any more fees and then tells me that the ING policy payment was actually reversed (NOT PAID) and I’m getting a return payment fee??? Plus a fee for insufficient funds when the ING tries to resubmit for payment… hahahahaha — Jokes on me and the bank is laughing at me all the way to the bank. Then the nice lady says she can’t do anything and gives me an 800 number to call.
Cut to the CHASE, I ask for a manger — who was actually very helpful and had the ability to problem solve. She reversed all the fees and sent me an email to confirm account closed. If it weren’t for her I’d keep getting charged fee after fee and never be able to close account and it would have ended up on my credit because I was not going to give them one more nickle, dime or dollar.
Good grief. No wonder we are in such a bad state of economy. We’re paying through the nose for these banks. My solution to this VERY REAL PROBLEM — Pull your money out!!! Everyone and let’s fund a small community bank owned by WE THE PEOPLE.

This Bank Sucks and they are so Rude, never listen and always quick to react. Take your Millions to another Bank who knows customer Service.

I went here intending to get a statement showing that I had maintained a CA bank account – proof of residency for local tuition – and the teller printed off the same statement I could have downloaded online. I told her it needed to show that it was at a California Chase location, and she stamped it with the branch stamp. This took about 12 minutes.
The next day, a six dollar fee showed up on my account. For printing a statement! The same statement I could have downloaded for free! And she didn’t even tell me that printing this redundant document would cost $ 6. Swindled. Totally swindled. I miss WaMu …

There was no wait and the teller made me laugh :)
