I was incredibly tired yesterday and I wanted something to drink. It was 2:00 p.m. and my appointment wasn’t until 3:00 p.m. I really wanted a nice cold Coke Zero and to go sit in my car with the seat laid back and shut my eyes for a moment before my appointment. I roll in here and there is no ice in the ice machine. The owner told me he would help me out in a moment. OK, so I walk over to the cooler to look for a bottle of Coke Zero. I couldn’t find it. My head was spinning. All I wanted was a Coke Zero. There was nothing in there. I get a drink cup with ice then fill it with bottled Coke Zero. Because no one ever has cans or has it in the fountain. I started to leave and I said, «Sorry you don’t have Coke Zero.» He said yes we do its in the back cooler. I looked up and there it was. I walked back there and saw the bottles of Coke Zero. Then a little bit lower I saw the most amazing beautiful site I have ever seen. CANS! The heavens opened up and angels were singing a heavenly tune as I laid eyes upon that wonderful, cold, black can of Coke Zero. I grabbed it and walked up to the counter with a huge smile. I said, «You have single cans of Coke to sell. This is the best thing ever.» He just shrugged and looked at me like I was a total ass. Fine what ever. I told him I was sorry for being rude and that I was really tired and just needed something to drink. Once apologizing he changed and we started talking about my work. I even hooked him up with a discount when ever he needed what I sell. Because I got it like that. Every time I’m in San Ramon, I know where my Coke is coming from.
