Their customer service alone earns this place 5 Unilocal stars! Shout out to the hilarious older man who yelled out«warrrrriors» as we walked in, love that guy! It’s the little things that I noticed/enjoyed here like how they serve their drinks in Mason jars, everything including their restrooms are clean, they checked in often — when needed and the food and drinks were good! We only came here cause we’re headed to the nearby ups store and are so glad we did and will definitely be coming back!

So tasty! This place is the best! Amazing prices and super fast service. Not to mention how clean the restaurant is and attentive the servers are. They deserve all the success in the world and I hope this place stays in business forever

This is a great little place, we almost always do take out but do eat in from time to time. The food here is good, the staff friendly, and the prices reasonable. It’s a favorite of my wife and we visit fairly often.

I really like this place. It convenient and the staff is friendly. I’ve only ever ordered the phở with rare steak(to-go), but I could eat it everyday if my budget afforded it. The Thai basil is always super fragrant and fresh and they give you tons of noodles.

I’ve been coming here for 7 months now and it’s always busy. Food and service is impeccable. I know the place is small and quaint yet after I placed my to go order I normally have a seat and the older gentleman offers tea or water but he was in Thailand. Lucky guy. Needless to say I tried to stand out of everyone’s way while I waited. The young man asked me to sit then 10 seconds later he said he needed the table. I felt embarrassed at this point. It’s a small place and people were looking. So I said to him do you want me to wait outside and comeback in 5 minutes. He said sure. I really felt uncomfortable walking out and waiting for my food when I was a paying customer as well. Anyway the young man brought me my food and now I’m sitting in the car writing this. I’ll still come here of course yet maybe make take out patrons feel important as well after spending there money.

This place is growing on me fast. I love the service and the food is pretty darn good. It’s our neighborhood Vietnamese food that is quick and simple take out. It does look like they have a regular dine in crowd as well. Always a good sign.

Really like this place. I live within walking distance so the convenience of walking over and having great Phở is awesome. They can get very busy so if you show up during the peak hours be ready to wait several minutes.

I really wanted to like this place as I placed the order via phone, the man on the phone was very nice. You can tell he is probably the owner of the place. His English was not very good and unfortunately the order was wrong(I ordered the fried spring rolls and got the rice paper wrapped ones instead). Also, I had the feeling he wasn’t too confident of a phone order as after I got there, which was the ten minutes he said it would take, they hadn’t even started the order yet. This led me to believe that he didn’t want to put in the order until I physically got there. So why would I order ahead if they don’t do the order until I got there? I ordered 3 large soups. When I got home, I was first disappointed that my spring rolls were wrong as mentioned above. The. As I unpacked my soups, I noticed that the substance of the soups were lacking. For a large, I would have thought there would be more than just a few pieces of meat. So, unfortunately I won’t be going back.

As I sit here eating my bowl of phở on a rainy day, I really wanted to take the chance to write a review for this spot! Not only is it conveniently located to where I live, the customer service is pretty great. The elder gentleman(not sure if he’s the owner?) is always so nice and welcoming. I’ve noticed him treat every customer this way. For example, today he asked everyone who was waiting for their to go order if they wanted some hot tea or water while they waited. It feels good to support a business that values their customers. Is it the best phở I’ve ever had? Probably not. But I usually always order the same thing — phở ga(chicken noodle soup) and it hits the spot for me when I want something warm on a cold night. I’ve heard the shaking beef and Thai dishes are good as well. Will have to venture out of my usual and try those sometime! Overall I’ve been happy each time I’ve been here and will definitely continue to come back!

Two weeks ago my Vietnamese girlfriend comes over and says, «Hey baby, we finally got a good Vietnamese restaurant nearby! «OK, great, let’s go!» We did. She’s really good about spotting the authentic dishes when we go out and she was pointing out two or three of them to me. I knew I’d be safe with shaking beef so I ordered it and it was fabulous! It was so good I suggested we go back again tonight because I wanted it again and it was just as good. She had a Thai dish because actually this restaurant also does some Thai. It was the spicy shrimp Thai soup, Tom Yum Koong, and it was wonderful too! We are hoping will be able to eat here for a long time in the future!

I am fairly new to Phở, but this has some of the best beef Phở. I get #11, TAIGAU — Rare steak & Brisket. The couple of times I have eaten here the food is good, especially the beef. The rare steak and brisket are both lean and perfect. To go is very good too.

The go to Phở place around Dublin/San Ramon. Very inexpensive, but the bowls are also a little on the smaller side. The phở broth has a tiny bit of oil floating on the top, but nothing too drastic. The egg noodle beef stew was amazing. Meat was tender and the broth was also very flavorful and«meaty». Now serving Thai! The portions are small, but does not short out on the flavor. Recommend the pad thai! The only issue is that if your party all orders the dry plates(as in not soup), there can be a wait. The owner explains that it is because the kitchen only has one wok.

It may look small but it has big flavors. This phở was so delicious with the best service! There is never many people there which is nice and its more intimate. Its a small family owned business, so the workers enjoy getting to know you. Overall really great food for a really great price so I will be coming back!

Came here around 4 on a Saturday. No one here but me. A few people meander in about 30 later. The old man is super friendly. Takes our order of Phở, chicken wings and shaking beef. The Phở was really good. The wings comes with a sweet and sour sauce. They are awesome perfectly cooked crispy and juicy on the inside. The shakin beef was awesome. Tender chunks of filet mignon stir fried to perfection with a peppery black bean sauce. We also got some Thai iced tea with the most tender boba I’ve ever had.

Cute place with great service! Came here for dinner one day and was greeted by the most adorable elder. He told us to take a seat anywhere we wanted and gave us our menus. He gave us a good amount of time before taking our order and made sure our waters were always refilled when he walked by. The phở was good, the soup base was delicious. Not sure if there are better phở places in the area, but the customer service will definitely bring me back!

I eat here with my hubby very often, because I like their spicy beef soup. However, I got my fresh spring rolls with chief’s hair yesterday. I will never go back again. That’s so disgusting!

Sometimes you can judge a book by its cover, and a restaurant by its appearance. Pretty Asian-style restaurant, with Chinese owners serving up Vietnamese food and smoothies(yes, you can add tapioca!). Perhaps the most interesting aspect is the old man who seems to run the joint greeted people in four different languages: Chinese, English, Viet, and Spanish. I admit I was a little sad when I didn’t make the cut for«señorita»… Also, they serve water in Mason jars. Guess he’s up with the times. The Ph Tái has good broth, not too rich or basil-y. I didn’t try the noodles or beef, but was told they were decent. My Spicy Lemongrass Chicken wasn’t very spicy(good for me), but the onions were left pretty raw so I ended up picking half of them out. My portion came with a scoop of rice and a small salad. Nothing spectacular, but filling homestyle food with relatively clean presentation. The bathroom is kind of dim and smells overpoweringly of floral spray. Like the sign says, you do indeed need to hold the toilet handle down to complete a flush.

Not the cleanest place nor the best phở in the world… BUT at 3AM when you’re desperate for some food – and not really feeling fast food – this place is A-OK. Service is fast, they accept CREDITCARDS(Well, everything BUT American Express which is typical of most Asian restaurants), food is edible – broth had A LOT of MSG and salt with not a lot of meat… Restaurant itself I’d give a 2⁄5 for overall cleanliness as it is a «hole in the wall» place. Service I’d give 1.5÷5 because after you order and get your food you’re forgotten… Until it’s time to pay the bill. I gave them 1.5 stars because they make your food LIGHTENINGFAST! Even when it’s crowded with drunk club-goers(and we all know how obnoxious some drunk people can be – especially when they come together in BIG groups!), they still manage to bring out your food in ten minutes or less! Overall, I give props to this small mom and pop restaurant for staying open late and putting up with all the drunkies! It can get a bit sketchy late night(due to the crowd sometimes) so I suggest following your gut and leaving if you don’t feel safe. I probably won’t be coming back here anytime soon as their food wasn’t that memorable…

We just went here the other day to have dinner before a conference. This place is just a small hole in the wall but we really enjoyed our food. I had the Thai style duck noodle soup and it was delicious! It could have had a little more duck, but it was flavorful and even a tad sweet, which I really enjoyed. This is a little mom and pop noodle shop and they were very friendly to us… Which is great in a time when customer service is seriously lacking at many other places. I found myself back here today to grab an iced coffee on the way to Sacramento. I’m sure I won’t be falling asleep, just as I’m sure I probably won’t sleep tonight, yikes! One of the stronger Vietnamese iced coffees I have had! Happy eating!

Not too bad =) 3.5 stars. Rounded up because it was pretty fast, decently good food, and cute ambiance. I mean, anywhere that gives you water in mason jars is kind of cute, right? haha Just moved to the area and was working on the house so we wanted something quick and easy that would hit the spot so naturally phở on a cold day seemed like it would do the trick. Their menu also has more than just Vietnamese food; there’s also Thai food on their menu. I ordered the Pad Kee Mow with chicken and my boyfriend got phở with rare flank beef. The pad kee mow was not as spicy as advertised on the menu… In fact I didn’t even think it was spicy haha. But it was yummy! I just wish there were more noodles to go with the veggies. The phở was pretty standard and the jalapenos were spicyyy. I didn’t like their spring rolls quite as much since they had raw bean sprouts inside. I had to pick them out but that’s just my personal preference… it would have tasted good otherwise! The waitress did forget my bf’s vietnamese coffee but we just dropped it. She was nice otherwise. I’d come back for some good comfort food =)
