We came pretty late after a long day and weren’t expecting much to be open but the server here welcomed us in and was actually excited to have some customers! They had a few yummy beers on tap and so much yummy food to choose from. the food was made quickly and perfectly and it was cost efficient!

Hot dogs are good. The pulled pork sucks. The sappy country music ballads blaring really damaged the mood. Everyone complained but he was too busy chatting on his cell phone to change it. The poor cowboy singing those whiny sh*t songs… well I hope someone shot him.

My husband and I went here while visiting family in Sandusky. The perch sandwich and the perch dinner were amazing. The service was amazing, efficient, quick and polite. The scallops were amazing, as well and they have a decent selection of beers and ciders to choose from. If I had more time in Sandusky I’d definitely come here again.

Just happened across this place and am so glad we did. Superb service from the bartender and simply amazing food. The onion rings were some of the best I’ve ever had. My boyfriend let me try his bratwurst, very yummy! Loved the perfect fries! The pulled bbq pork sandwich definitely passed this Texas girls palate! You must stop in and try it.

Perch was overcooked… Thick breading. Just not good. Garlic parmeson boneless wing’s… Was horrible. I was disappointed since we were looking so forward to a perch sand… being on the lake and all. Service was really good.

The bartenders are friendly and the drinks are great but the food is horrible. Several times we sent our meal back because it was burnt to a crisp and greasy. Clearly the cook has a bad attitude or just clueless about how to create a palatable meal.

the food is OK but nothing special. french onion soup taste like it is from a can, has way too many onions and came out lukewarm. or server was great, very attentive. staff meeting took place in dining room but most of it was socializing. my table of 2 was the only one in there.

Stopped in on a whim, first time back in Sandusky in 4 years. 10 pm bartender was excited to tell us KITCHENCLOSED. after ordering a drink 3 young women walked in and grabbed a table and they were greeted with KITCHENISCLOSEDANDWEHAVENOSERVER. mind you there were 6 people sitting at the bar including us. Of course the girls were smarter than us and immediately left. I guess this place does enough business and can chase people away without trying to sell them a drink. sad because it has a nice vibe.

We were up Sunday, 4⁄19 to catch a concert at the Sandusky State Theater. We got to the Tony’s @ 5:45 since they’re walking distance to the theater. We sat down and were greeted by a cordial waitress. We ordered drinks and got busy in conversation. We placed our food orders and started waiting… and waiting… and waiting. By 6:30, our glasses were empty, and our food still hadn’t arrived. By 6:40 our friend had to leave, as he was one of the performers at the State. He asked to cancel his order, but please get ours. The waitress informed us there were problems in the kitchen, and she had called the manager in to assist and get things straightened out. At about 6:45, my sandwich(a so-so Ruben) and my friend’s cancelled hot dog showed up. It took until 6:54 for my wife’s sandwich(a pulled pork that magically turned into a bronco burger) to come out. The only saving grace of the whole ordeal, was that the waitress took care of our check. I can honestly say this ranked in the top 5 worst dining experiences I have ever had in my life. If the waitress hadn’t commpted everything, I would say this was the worst. She let us know it was her 2nd day working there, I hope she finds some place better to work.

The cook took way to long to cook our food and mis placed our order. Then after an hour of waiting when the place hardly had anyone he didn’t even send out the right food!

I’m a regular because the food, drink and service are great. So far I’ve had a couple of the hot dogs(always great), the Reuben, the patty melt, the chicken spinach salad and the baked Mac and cheese. I don’t understand a previous comment about the fries, I thought they were just fine. The beer selection is very good as well. I’m in.

Service was fast and friendly. Loved the concept of regionally unique hotdogs. I do wish my New Jersey«ripper» was actually ripped; it was merely wrinkly and a bit crispy. The lack of Stadium Mustard this close to Cleveland is a big sin in my book too. Nevertheless, tasty stuff with lots of good tap handles to wash things down.

Fun place near the lake. Good kids menu, hot dogs and fried pickles are great. Service is attentive and friendly. The server offered a sample of beer when trying to decide. I do not recommend the French fries. Everything else was amazing. We went between lunch and dinner on a Monday. Not super crowded, but still had many customers.

Great dog, awesome fries. Bartender was friendly and attentive. Clean restaurant. Large beer selection and menu has something on it for most everyone, even the carb conscious. Mixed drink was well made, Ketel One and soda(he didn’t know what seltzer was, but that may be regional).

No one greeted us, we stood at the front waiting to be seated, that never happend, we sat ourselves, 15min and no one ever came by. At least 5 or so employees were in the back goofing off. Walked out without ever been seen, or acknowledged. Pathetic.

Good value. Awesome dogs! A fair selection of craft beer. All in all nice hang out place to grab a beer and watch a game! And catch up with some friends.

The pulled pork nachos are TODIEFOR. Yes, the hot dogs are overpriced, but it’s a restaurant! I like that you can get a hotdog wrapped in a low-carb wrap and that they have green beans instead of fries(yum!). The green beans are awesome. They always have a great beer selection on tap(Great Lakes and IPA’s) and will let you try them for free! There is never anybody in the restaurant– I think they may need to have some better advertised weekly specials and I would become a weekly visitor.

Came here for drinks and a bite with my parents. Love the way it looks — great interior, and clean — which is awesome. Located on Water Street, the central point of all the fun in Sandusky — you are right by the water and all of the downtown bars within walking distance. Parking is in a free lot across the street(behind the State), or if you’re lucky, you can score a spot right out in front. Original menu, lots of options when it comes to alcohol. Try the reuben dip for an appetizer.
