Pink’s

The original is better, but this location is about 1,500 miles closer, so it will have to do.
The Martha Stewart dog is called the Cedar Point dog here — not sure how she feels about that, but it’s still an amazing combinations of bizarre ingredients that amount to an awesome hot dog.

What an amazing place. And I don’t even like hot dogs. Now I understand the hype. Lots of different choices of what types of dressings you can have on your hotdogs. Very tasty and very fresh. Of course, I did have this at a roller coaster park which made for an interesting aftermath…

Even though there were at most two dozen people in line, it took us one hour to get a couple burgers and fries. I’m not sure why the line moved so slowly, as there were alot of staff behind the counter. Are these new employees? If so, they definitely need more experience and training. The food itself was ok.

Pink’s is an ok choice for this park. If this place was outside the park I would definitely give it only one star.
The food is overpriced, but it is through the whole park. Tables are usually full and dirty. Poor service with an «I dont care» attitude.
That being said the burgers are the best in the park. (Thats not really saying much) I like their onion rings and my husband enjoys their dogs. My 8 year old loves hot dogs and burgers normally but refuses to eat her food here saying its gross.
Overall an acceptable option considering where you are and your choices. Obviously people don’t go to Cedar Point for the food.

They have horrible customer service. The food is over priced and cold. The music is too loud, you can’t even hear ones food number even called. I had to stand and wait for my food so I didn’t miss it. Yet being as I grabbed it as it was called out it should be warm not old and nasty tasting. Also the inside was filthy. There are bugs hanging from the ceiling.

Had this in Vegas and it was great. This location in Cedar Point was mediocre. The bacon cheese fries was very good but the long Island hot dog was just plain and soggy. Not very good.

I’ve heard of the LA Pink’s, and we ate here tonight because it had a shorter line than Johnny Rockets.
So I’m kind of a burger and hot dog purist… But I decided to get the Chicago Polish Dog, hold the lettuce and onions. It had a Polish sausage, relish, mustard, and chopped tomatoes, and was delicious. My friends got the hot dog topped with BBQ sauce and onion rings (I forget the name) and liked that too.
We also all got orange sodas and split an order of French fries, which tasted like CURLY FRIES, but weren’t curly (mind BLOWN, lol).
It’s pretty expensive here (was about $ 40 for the 3 of us, so was Panda Express for lunch though) but the food is delicious. Worth a stop when in the park.

Just to clarify, there was nothing BAD about my experience here. I just know that there are SO many better dining options at Cedar Point.
I ordered a chili cheese dog and onion rings. It set me back $ 15, which is way more expensive than it should have been, especially for the tiny portion of 5 onion rings I received. The hot dog was lukewarm. The chili was warmer than the dog itself, but there was a distinct raw flour flavor to it. The cheese really disappointed me because I was expecting melty cheese, and it was literally a slice of american between the bun and the dog that was nowhere near melted.
It filled me up, but I don’t see myself returning.

Well I give Cedar Point credit for expanding the number of available options for park food. Pink’s is a definite departure from the traditional fare served up over the past couple of decades.
Overall it’s alright… the onion rings always seem pretty good to me. The dogs are OK as well… had a chili cheese and it was fine. Prices are high (surprise) and our SoCal travelling companions told us this bares little resemblance to the Hollywood location based on the number of dog options.

Pleasantly surprised. The Cedar Point Dog looked like a hot mess on paper, but in actuality, it tastes pretty dang good! Onion rings are of the run-​of-​the-​mill fast food variety. Pink’s is a great choice for amusement park eats.

For food inside a theme park, Pink’s is a good option. I love hot dogs, and I have heard of the infamous Pink’s in LA, so I was ready to give it a go. We got 2 Cedar Point dogs (relish, onions, bacon, chopped tomatoes, sauerkraut, & sour cream), onion rings, and a shared soda. Our bill was almost $ 30, which is high for the food, but it’s theme park prices, can’t really expect a value here.
The hot dog itself was very good with a deliciously good snap, but the cold toppings on top cooled it down a lot. I wish the sauerkraut had been hot to keep up with the cold toppings. The toppings were very flavorful, although messy. Overall it was pretty tasty. The onion rings, though. Those were fantastic. I could just eat a plate of those instead! They were super crispy and the breading didn’t fall off when you bite into it. Next time I’m here I would like to try a different dog, I’ve heard they are know for the chili cheese dogs. I would love to try the LA original, just to compare it to this stand, but I think with all the options in the park this is a unique alternative (and a tasty one at that).

I was really happy to find a Veggie dog and it was pretty good.
I got the girls bacon chili cheese dogs and they ate about half of it and didn’t want anymore.
They were eyeing my dog but no way. Kind of disappointing since it wasn’t cheap and they were still hungry to have to throw it out. I hate throwing food away but it was not going down.
I’d go back for the Veggie dog since there are not too many vegan options in the park.

I’m surprised at all the negative comments for Pink’s.
Pink’s wasn’t that bad. I came here with my boyfriend in August, 2012 and had Pink’s for lunch. The hotdogs are huge and fresh. We also had cheese fries and soda. We were so full that we thought we were going to throw up riding roller coasters.
Our experience was not bad. It might be a little expensive for hotdogs, but it is inside a theme park so that says it.
I hope others would give it another chance if they were to be in Cedar Point again, they weren’t as bad as they think it is.

This was a first time and last time visit to Pinks for us. Went for Halloweekends this past Saturday, Oct 6, 2012. First we had to stand and wait for someone to take our order while the staff played games with each other, hitting, laughing and playing. TOTALLY unprofessional. We got 3 burgers and a plain hotdog, one chilli fries and 2 small sodas. It was 40.61. Food was lukewarm. Tables were dirty and disgusting. The tiny area with ketchup and mustard was also dirty. We will never ever eat there again when we go to Cedar Point and I will tell my friends who are going to avoid eating there.

Our annual trip to Cedar Point. Last year discovered Pinks at the park and loved it. Was one of last years highlights and surprises.
WOW, what a difference a year makes. Got wrong order had to argue to get it fixed, slow service, specialty dog I had was cold, the interior was a mess. The trash container looked liked they had not wiped it down in a week. The server was putting his gloved fingers inside the soda cups as he served it (Yikes!)
Very disappointing.
My advise is save yourself some disappointment and eat elsewhere at the park. Take a pass on Pinks!

Given the other reviews it looks like visits to Pink’s are hit or miss. Luckily our visit was a hit. The dogs were hot and tasty and had a good snap, the buns were fresh, the bacon was crispy… all the toppings were very good.
I went with the Mullholland Drive Dog. My wife picked the Mild Chicago Polish Dog. My kids picked the Bacon Burrito Dog and a couple of Cheeseburgers. Everyone enjoyed their food.
Yes, it was expensive… then again, this is a theme food joint inside Cedar Point. You don’t exactly go there looking for good food values. We also didn’t experience any of the joking around on the prep line that others complained about.
The price would probably prevent me from eating there again but I’m glad we tried it.

I am sort of surprised to see all the negative reviews about Pink’s, because I was sure I would hate it (not knowing anything about it beforehand), but ended up being pleasantly surprised.
My husband and I stopped in at the end of our day at Cedar Point. It wasn’t implicitly clear on the menu whether there was a vegetarian option, so we took a gamble and waited in line to find out. Turns out — they do have a vegetarian hot dog that can be substituted in any of their custom sandwiches. I think their veggie dogs may be custom-​made for that chain, because I’ve never had one like that before — it was really big and kind of spicy. Really tasty!
The price was pretty high, even for Cedar Point. For two hot dogs and a shared small side of fries and shared soda, our total was about $ 25.
Also, they were totally out of ketchup on the day we went, which seemed pretty bizarre to us. They literally were squeezing the very, very last drops of ketchup out of an empty bottle directly onto another customer’s fries.
But all in all, it wasn’t terrible! So… congrats, Cedar Point?

A year later and I decided to give Pinks another shot. Bad move.
This time I went with the hot dog with sauerkraut, chili, onions. The chili was the same as I remembered it from last year… very bland with a gummy texture. The hot dog was crunchy and I I couldn’t even chew the skin of the dog when the meat popped out of it. And the fries were also tasteless. There are better fries elsewhere in the park.
The only thing that had improved from my first visit was the length of time it took to get my order correct. They did get it right the first time.
Unfortunately, I am so unimpressed with this place that I will not head there on next year’s trip to CP.

This place is pretty good for a restaurant in side a theme park. I’m not that big for hotdog places but it wasn’t bad. The service was what you can expect at a park and the price as well. But the dogs a big and loaded so they fill you up. So in my book it’s not bad.

Completely disappointing. I’m from California and have had my fair share of Pinks in LA. Since I was road tripping to Cedar Point for the amusement park my buddy was completely ecstatic to discover that there is a Pinks inside the park. I confess, Pinks isn’t even my favorite hot dog joint. I’ve always found that the actual sausage was mediocre and they just cruise on by loading up the dog with as much toppings as possible to mask the so-​so hot dog. This location though doesn’t even pass the mediocre mark I’ve had for the Pinks in Hollywood. I’m not sure where they import their sausages from but there is definitely no «snap» once you bite into the dog. And it’s all the more infuriating that there’s TVs around the restaurant constantly advertising Pinks’ famous snap. Flaccid… oh how depressing. Save your money. You’ve spent enough of it in the park to waste $ 7 – 10 for a below-​average hot dog that doesn’t even live up to its mediocre parent.
