We came here the 2nd day since we missed it the night before. Well unfortunately, they sold out of the walleye and perch fish tacos so at least we got the grilled tilapia fish tacos. OMG, the fish tacos were delicious and it was nice with the mango plus avocado:) We also got the fries and Greek salad. It took a while since there was a line of people ordering food. However, my wife agreed that it was worth the wait. Get here early and you won’t miss out on the perch or walleye like we did. Also, the price is right as others have mentioned without going to fancy sit-down restaurant.

Good food. Best fries. Sweet atmosphere. Waleye Tacos had a nice kick and super crunch. Perch and Waleye are local Erie fish. Perfect stop after ferry ride in from Pelee Island.

This place is a must try. It’s a concession stand type of restaurant. You order at the counter and talk you food to the table. It’s very casual, outdoor seating only but you have a beautiful view of lake Erie and you can see Cedar Point’s coasters in the distance. We tried chicken nachos and a burger and fries. They tasted like they were made with love and we devoured every bite.

I had the $ 5 hamburger. Very good. This is an outdoor or takeout only establishment. No indoor seating! Over all a cool place to eat and enjoy the sights of the lake.

Beautiful place to eat outdoors along the water of Lake Erie. I had the World Famous Walleye Tacos. The pico de gallo they use for them is to die for!(I’m from Texas so I have high expectations for my pico). They were amazing!!! I only decided to order them because of other Unilocalers reviews. They make their own Idaho potato French fries which were extremely good as well. My friends got a burger which was $ 5 for a single(0.25 to add cheese) and quesadillas which run anywhere from $ 7.50-$ 10.50(they have cheese, chicken, and shrimp that vary in price). This is definitely an affordable place if you’re looking to eat some where near CP but not quite in the park. Next time I go to Cedar point I’ll definitely be returning to this place, so YUMMY ;) The only downside that I could notice was that there were tons of bees near the soda machine in which they’d crawl up the soda nozzels.

Splendid! After a long day at Cedar Point this was an amazing decision for ending the day. My boys had the burgers and my wife had the Walleye Tacos I had the Chicken Tacos. Everyone was impressed and satisfied with there dinners. The only draw back was that we wanted to stay and hang out all night. BTW– full bar and a huge assortment of craft bottle beers.

Absolutely perfect for what it is, a very casual, outdoor café overlooking the water. After a delicious dinner of fish tacos and some seriously good fries, we watched the sunset with a couple of beers. Then watched as the lights at Cedar Point came on. A great experience!

We ate here the other night. The food was delicious. The only thing that keeps this from getting 5 stars was our nachos!!! We had a 4t min wait for our food. The nachos must have been made 20 mins before we got them. But considering we are from philly this place held up to our standards.

The longer I sit here the more I like this place! But that could be because this wine in a box is pretty dang good and the man playing guitar seems to know all my favorite songs. Perch tacos were pretty good. The perch alone had a good crispy fry on and the meat was tender, moist and flavorful. The sauce was tasty and had a nice little bite to it. The husband and kid had burgers with fries. Neither of them got ketchup or mustard on them and never missed it. I thought the burgers could of used a touch of salt, but overall they were juicy and seasoned well. The fries… The boy and I almost got into a fight over the fries because I couldn’t stop snatching them off his tray! So we wound up ordering another batch… waiting on them now! I really like this place.

This is a great little outdoor restaurant. Views are great. Dog friendly. I would give it five stars but there is a strange issues with the burgers which is one of their main menu items. It is seasoned very strongly with rosemary. The burger would have been one of the best I’ve ever had if it wasn’t ruined with that Rosemary seasoning. Very disappointed in the burger.

Came into Sandusky the night before a day at Cedar Point. Wife wanted fish tacos and cane upon this on the Unilocal. All i can say is ‘WOW’. It’s literally on the water in a very unassuming spot. Small little joint with a window to order and a window to pickup. Nice liquor selection, gin and tonic for me and vodka cranberry for my wife. Seating is first come first serve and tables are set along the water. Fabulous tacos. My wife and i shared an order of the walleye tacos(tempura fried), tilapia tacos, and steak tacos. Two per order on a six inch flour shell. Just eat them as they come and don’t try to change it up. They know what they’re doing. This place is totally a local hang out as it’s well into the town of sandusky and away from the hotel/chain restaurant strip where most Cedar Point guests would stay. Menu is basic but man they nailed what we were looking for. Definitely feel like we stumbled onto a secret treasure.

First time in Ohio and having Walleye! This place is super cute. You are right on the water and have a beautiful view of Lake Erie and Cedar Point. It is very casual with only outside seating. We had the Walleye Tacos and they were delish. People around us seemed pretty happy with their food too. The fries and nachos looked great. You can even get beer and liquor here. We will come back if ever in Ohio again.

Great food for the price, the view from the café was absolutely wonderful. We could watch the boats come in, as the sun set. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

Great little spot for burgers, fish tacos, salads and adult beverages. It is dog friendly, being outside. Food quality is way above what you would expect from basically a beach shack type place. Way above. The proprietors are the fine folks who bring us Zinc and Crush, so ’nuff said there. I had a cheeseburger today that was the best burger I’ve had in months. Quality takes time, so expect to wait about 10 — 15 minutes for your order to come up. Enjoy your beer, the view and whoever you’re with(in my case the dog) in the meantime.

Good perch and walleye tacos. View can’t be beat. Good casual place right on the water in the Paper District. Between the boats and Cedar Point lights there was quite a Spent the evening at a concert at the amphitheater next to the restaurant and marina last Saturday, so we had a late dinner here after the show. It was clear that they were closing up the kitchen but were very accommodating and quick with the order. Both fish tacos had a fair amount of fish on them and had a nice slaw/sauce combination. They get a bit runny, though, so be careful to drain them or hold it over your plate as you eat! The salads were pretty standard — the greek was a bit short on feta and olives but ok as a side to the tacos.

It was a beautiful place to eat outside… it was just too cold and windy to enjoy it. The food was good when it was hot, but again it was cold outside, so our food cooled off fast! The cheese on our nachos solidified immediately and we couldn’t eat them. The fresh cut fries were really tasty, though. Yum!

The day was beautiful so that is a big part if the rating, but the place deserves five stars for the food. Looks like a snack shack at a beach, but the food is fresh & deceptively good. No place to eat in, 5 tables on a patio & picnic tables. Right on the shore of Lake Erie with Cedar Point in the background. Interesting place for the kids who took a stroll down the dock and saw all the boats & the unique Lake Erie water snakes in the lake swimming along.

Pleasant place to park the boat and grab a bite to eat. That’s what we did. One seagull kept eyeing our food so we had to keep him at bay. Got a hamburger, nachos, and hot dog. Probably should avoid the nachos next time, they did seem a bit stale. But the hamburger was delicious. Others in our party ordered the fish tacos, I didn’t get a bite but I’m sure they were good.

Ordered: Walleye tacos, Chicken Tacos, Double Burger Price: $ 13 + 6.50 + 6 = $ 25.50 Ambiance: Beautiful dockside seating with romantic little iron tables or family-friendly wooden picnic benches. View is great with boats skimming the waters and Cedar Point in the distance. There was a 2-person band playing when we came which made the meal that much better. Food: An order of tacos gets you 2 large large tacos filled with lime-y pico de gallo, lettuce, and your choice of meat topped with a delicious lime aoili. The Walleye taco was my first experience with the fish and it was tasty. White-flesh fish with a savory flavor and minimally rubbery texture. It was excellently breaded and fried — adding a wonderful crispy texture without being overly-greasy or over-powering. The chicken was pretty good, I couldn’t quite pin the flavor down but it reminded me of a cajun mix. The meat was tender and juicy so no complaints there. I didn’t try the burger so no comment although I did take a picture. Overall this is an excellent place to grab a bite and relax if the weather is nice. The Walleye was excellent in every sense of the word although $ 13(market price) is admittedly steep! I would stop by here at least once on your jaunt through Sandusky though and treat yourself.
