Awesome food and great friendly staff! Try their Jalapeño Popper Foldover pizza and the Cheesecake Foldover dessert pizza! Or maybe a Buckeye Cake.

Deep dish is the way to go. Chicken Alfredo pizza was amazing. Jalapeño popper folder over was amazing. Ask for the raspberry sauce. Also, the breakfast pizza was surprisingly delicious.

Gluten free yellow margarita pizza was my order. I couldn’t believe how Small this pizza was and it was a large that I ordered. Even worse the price for a gluten free was 21 dollars. And it looked like it was somewhat burned and too crispy. It literally looked like a personal size pizza and it seemed shocking that I paid for such a little amount of food for the high cost. I have gluten free most of the time and am willing to pay anything pretty much but this was appalling to say the least. My companion felt the same way. And lastly, it didn’t taste nearly as good as every single frozen pizza I have bought or made before in the past. And oddly this place is rated number 1. Wouldn’t ever recommend this place even if someone forced me to order from there. I rarely if ever, say anything in a negative light but this was my experience. If I could give my rating as no stars I would but I am giving them one star to be nice.

Good food. Good price. Got the Hawaiian pizza and was happy. Ingredients seemed fresh and not just poured from a can. The only downside is it is kinda hard to find if you’re new to the area. Place is set in back of parking lot which is difficult enough but google maps takes you to the wrong side of the street. Overall, would definitely go back and try all the other types of pizza and desserts too.

Uhhhh more like the SKETCH factory!!! This place was hotter than the depths of hell inside and the outside smelled like rotten tar and bodies! It’s hidden behind three other buildings and looks sketchy! We didn’t even order food because it was so stifling inside. Go to any other pizza place in all the land!

Ordered take out while visiting Kalahari. I tried the supreme and meat lovers pizza and both were good. We also ordered the Buckeye cake, and while the pizza was good, the Buckeye cake is incredible. More like a brownie than a cake and covered in peanut butter fudge and chocolate. I recommend swinging by for one whenever you are in town for Cedar Point or Kalahari.

The pizza was a little on the soggy side. It tasted great but lacked some crunch. The mild chicken wings were more on the spicy side but also very good. Wouldn’t come back for the pizza. This place also doesn’t have any seating.

Awesome pizza! We decided to try this place after reading the reviews. We were told we would have a 30 minute wait for pickup buy felt it was reasonable, even on a Monday night. When we arrived, we walked in and was greeted by the most delicious smell ever. We ordered a supreme pizza, a Hawaiian pizza, and a side salad. It was all perfect and delicious. We had no left overs and wanted more. There is no inside seating. A couple of picnic tables outside but we took our food to go. The pies and cookies looked very good too.

Coming from Chicago I’ve been reluctant with the pizza selection around here, but I tried their specialty and their buffalo chicken pizza, both were great!

After reading reviews it was easy to find. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Pies and cookies are good. Today we had chicken pot pie, honey mustard chicken wings and baked ziti. all very good.

Great food but the menu shown on here is old or from a different location, the guy who was on the phone when i called rather rudely informed me of this fact.

No dine in, but wonderful takeout. Pizza and pies at very reasonable prices. You should also try their pot pies!

I didn’t read through all the posts to see this place is actually a pie/pizza bakery… no dine-in. It was difficult to find at night but, I am glad we stayed the course. Unlimited topping pizza…$ 13, wow! I also had to order the cheesecake fold over. My wife ordered the Buckeye Cake. *****Warning*****They don’t sell milk.

I was expecting to find a restaurant when we came here, but this really is a factory. You may almost miss it since it’s in the back of a parking lot. Despite this, it is totally worth going here for take out because the food is great and the staff are really helpful locals. They helped us find a spot we could buy buckeyes, and even offered to make some for us if we couldn’t find them before the end of our Cedar Point trip. We got lots of different kinds of pies and they were all amazing. Pizza Pie– so fresh, doughy, and filled with cheesy topping goodness Chicken Pot Pie– takes a while, but generously filled with perfectly seasoned shredded chicken, vegetables, and broth Pecan Pie– nice toasted pecan taste and sweet perfection Buckeye Cake Pie– decadent layers of chocolate cake, chocolate fudge, and peanut butter that is out of this world for you peanut/chocolate combo lovers. All at reasonable prices too! If your looking for a cheap and tasty meal to enjoy from the comfort of your own home(or hotel room!), the Pie Factory has got you covered.

My friends and I went on our road trip to visit Cedar Point for 3 days at the end of July(this was our third time visiting the park). I wish we knew of this place sooner. The service and hospitality of this place was so great that we ate here twice! The owner Jim Kimberlin was very accommodating to how in the pizza making, ie you could request for thinner crust. Our first time– we ordered the potato pizza and the supreme pizza. The potato pizza was different from anything i had had. It was like eating a baked potato on pizza crust. The supreme pizza was the group’s favorite as it had banana peppers, bacon, pepperoni, and ham. We had to get a pie, hence the name Pie Factory. If you are a chocolate and peanut butter lover, you gotta get their Buckeye Cake! Be prepared with a glass of milk with this because it’s rich and creamy! our second trip– We decided to try their wings. We all loved the Hot Garlic Parmesan. I have not tasted anything like this. I secondly like the Hot and Spicy BBQ, it you like hot and sweet. For our desert, we got the New York Cheesecake. Jim was so awesome he cut the entire cake for us and separated into individual containers with all the works(whip cream and the strawberries). I would recommend this for place if you are visiting Sandusky and you want great food without digging a hole in your wallet. the prices are reasonable and they have a wide selection on their menu. This is great for large groups and family. However this is not a sit down place. They had a picnic table outside. We ended up eating in our hotel room the first time.

Pretty good pizza and lovely cakes/sweets/pie. The buckeye truly is decadent. We arrived almost at closing late on a winter Friday night and took a veggie pie and a meat topped pie to go. Not too greasy with quality toppings. I will venture here again. The location can be a bit tricky to find as one must circle the building.

Arrival night for a four night conference we checked out local pizza places and stumbled on this on Unilocal. We walked out with the lightest, crispiest crust(and thickest cheese) pizza ever and a supply of pies by the slice that have proven delectable! Tangy key lime, dense chocolate peanut butter Buckeye pie, banana cream and mini blueberry and peach for $ 26! Great value, delivery to hotels/condos in area.

I found this place through the magic of Unilocal. How else would I know what to eat in Sandusky, Ohio? We ended up getting two pizzas, both of which were slammin’! The first one we got was a potato pizza, which had garlic, onion, bacon, mozzarella, cheddar and baked potato. They left off the side of sour cream, but it was still delicious. We also had a BBQ pizza with chicken, sauce, mozzarella, cheddar and pineapple. Really sad this place isn’t closer, but next time I go to Cedar Point I will definitely go back!

Note to prospective customers: this is not a sit down restaurant, it’s really best for pick up or delivery, but there are two picnic tables out from and they can supply you with plates and napkins. That said, you must try this pizza. We’re not from the area and I must not have read the other reviews very closely because we ventured out here thinking it was a sit down restaurant. It worked out really well because we got to watch them make our pizza, including tossing the dough which was pretty neat. We ordered a cheese pizza with spinach and pepperoni and it was ready quickly. It was certainly the freshest pizza I’ve ever had and that sauce was pretty incredible – they need to bottle and sell that stuff! The Greek salad was also very yummy, didn’t even need salad dressing. Now, on to the pies… I ordered a slice of the buckeye, it was good but very rich; I only ate a couple of bites and I was done. We also tried a slice of the lemon and a strawberry tart. I wasn’t super impressed with either… But the peanut butter pie, that baby was delicious! I wish we had ordered an entire pie. It really hit the spot! My boyfriend and I don’t typically like peanut butter in our desserts, but we were both impressed with this one – definitely give it a try. I also want to recognize the staff, all of whom were friendly and polite. We would definitely go back here if we lived in the area. Great place!

Ordered: Meatball Sub, Hot Garlic Parmesan Wings, Chicken Salad Price: ~$ 18.50 Ambiance: Be warned — this place is a catering/carry-out joint first! It’s located in a warehouse. Inside, there is only a counter for ordering with no seating except a bench to wait for your order. Outside, there are two plastic cafeteria table-benches you can sit and eat at if the weather is nice. Might behoove you to order and pick up your order. Service was super-friendly with smiles all around and we got our food within 15 minutes of ordering. Food: I personally had the Hot Garlic Parmesan wings which are served by the pound(~8−9 wings). The sauce was a little runny and the skin a touch soggy but the flavor was excellent, it had a savory garlicky heat that builds with each subsequent wing. Luckily, they give you a side of ranch to quench your tongue. The meatball sub was a beast! It must have been 3×12 inches and could easily have fed two people! The meatballs were scrumptious with a strong beefy flavor boldly accented by oregano and other herbs. I wasn’t a huge fan of the tomato sauce as it was a little bit too tangy and unidimensional but the plentiful mozarella helped. It was served on a pizza dough-based bread which was fine. Finally, the chicken salad had pre-cooked chicken, the same kind you find in pre-made salads and the dressing is served in commercial packets. Overall the food was very good although each dish certainly had room to improve. The underlying problem is that this is a catering/carry-out joint and their food is designed/prepared towards that end. It is NOT a full-fledge restaurant equipped to cook food to order. With that in mind, I would gladly come here again and look to trying some of their pizzas down the road.
