This place is a fun stop. They have a great selection of produce and drinks, but that’s not the best part. Make sure you grab a coffee and a breakfast sandwich or muffin. And if it’s the afternoon, make sure to browse their deli case for great side dishes or lunch meats. Their prices are the only draw back but don’t let that deter you, stop by this quaint oversized produce stand and take home a sandwich.

I live in the area and this is the place I go to for sandwiches. The sandwiches are huge and some of the signature subs/sandwiches are great(e.g. The Satchmo or the Big Pilgrim). They also have a great selection of soup, fruits, vegetables and other items(including wine). As other reviewers have mentioned, Lambert’s is on the expensive side. However, they have nothing but high quality items.

This is my favorite place on the cape for picking up something quick. Staff are friendly, food is truly exceptional!

I live in sandwich and this is my go to place for sandwiches and soup. My wife and I ate here today & it’s always great! I think for the quality & the sheer size of the sandwiches — the prices are very fair. The deli case has an amazing array of foods from Lasagna to potato salad. It’s well worth the trip!

So over priced it is incredible! Had 1 piece of lasagna and 2 meatballs to go COLD, nothing else, it was almost $ 18. I could have gone to a nice Italian restaurant nearby for that kind of money

1st time there, Walked in and instead of being greeted by the young boy(teenager?)working there, I was stared at. Walked over to deli area and I had a short wait however, I chose soup. Got the Kale soup which tasted good but I wasn’t aware there was pork in it(I don’t eat pork). Wish there was a sign near the soup area of the ingredients in each soup choice. Went to check out and the girl at the register had a customer and let me know the guy could take me in the next line. Walked over. Here was the boy again from when I 1st walked in. He rang everything up, but only opened his mouth to tell me the price. Bagged the cookies(left the bag still attached to the rest on the holder) and gave me a bag for the soup and began to walk away. The other cashier had to ask/tell him. «Well aren’t you going to hand her the stuff?» He looked at me and her, said oh and walked away as I grabbed everything myself. Outside of the teenager who lacks basic customer service. The food was good, place was clean, but I Prob won’t be back unless there’s nothing else around and I’m really hungry. For the 5 minutes I was in there, his attitude was a turn off for Lambert’s as a whole.

my favorite place to shop, especially for produce or when I’m making something special! Their deli is out of this world! All of their prepared foods are Amazing and totally worth the price! If you don’t wanna cook dinner, stop in and grab ANYTHING. I promise it will be good. This is also the only place I will buy balsamic vinegar. Refillable bottles: way to go!

Whenever I visit Sandwich, I HAVE to stop at Lambert’s — by far the most amazing, hugest chicken salad wrap I have ever had! There are always tasty samples near the registers which is nice and They have cute, quaint seating upstairs that always seems to be available!

Since Lambert’s opened I have been purchasing fruit and vegetables which have been labeled organic. Last week, the sign ORGANIC was on about ten more items… several types of apples, the melon, strawberries, potatoes, etc. I purchased two of everything organic. My daughter noticed the labels on the apples in my kitchen and asked why I wasn’t buying organic… I thought I had… so we returned to the store only to find out that signs with the word«organic» were placed on non-organic fruit and vegetables! I I was misled… I was disappointed to find out that those things I purchased were not organic, not to mention I paid top dollar for items for two years that I thought were organic. Organic produce begins with the number 9. This was so dishonest and all this time… I have been consuming pesticides!

After a long flight and drive home I was in dire need of food. I don’t normally go to the Sandwich area so I was kind of winging it for a bite to eat. I have always gotten great breakfast(muffins are huge and moist) at Lambert’s so I pulled in there to look at their sandwich menu. I was not disappointed. I got a Victor Hugo. Oh my, it was so good. Freshly made, packed full of ingredients and so yummy. My husband got the meatball sub. He enjoyed it thoroughly, said it was one of his favorites. Highly recommended if in the Sandwich area.

I go to Lambert’s for their sandwiches because they are BIG and taste GREAT!!! Their produce and other products I feel are a bit on the pricey side but you would anticpate that with locally grown produce on Cape Cod. Their braided bread is perfect to have with most of their sandwiches and if you plan to walk in their during lunch time be prepared to wait because they take phone orders and everyone wants one of their sandwiches which only shows how popular they are. I would come here every week if I could and their sandwich prices are pretty reasonable for how much you get.

I love this place. This is a combination produce market, farm stand, meat counter and wine store with greta prepared meals. The prepared foods are great. Recently we had several people over for lunch at our Cape house, and we had no time to prepare lunch. So I went to Lambert’s assembled a wonderful salad from thier extensive salad bar, purchased about a half gallon of clam chowder which was about as good as any I’ve had on the Cape, and I bought a tray of their lasagna which got rave reviews from my guests. Their prepared meal selection is very extensive with lots of creative and traditional salads, lasagna, wings, sandwiches — I have never been disappointed with any of the food I have tried. And their wine prices are very reasonable too. Having unexpected guests?, putting together a picnic basket? or just don’t feel like cooking? Give Lamberts a try!

Like taking a step back in time(but in a good way). A clean, quaint little market with the essentials and more: a nice selection of fresh, hot soups, fresh fruit, an attractive deli, hot gourmet coffee, and fresh baked goods(the pumpkin muffin was warm and delicious!) The staff was very friendly as well.

First, let me say that I went to this place three times in one week and I regret that I didn’t go every day. Everything in the deli section is fresh and there’s a huge variety. The sandwiches seem expensive but, since they’re all foot longs, they are big enough for two. The cranberry walnut chicken salad was my favorite of all the things I sampled and tasted great in a wrap. I also liked the Greek salad which had generous portions of cheese and olives. It can’t possibly get any better.

The best for quality on cape cod, sandwiches or fruit and veggies, their dips are outstanding.
