Encountered the rudest woman when I went in. This lady acted as if she were HBIC and had better things to do than assist me. Mackenzie was the rudest lady I have ever met. Not going back.

Overall, a frustrating shopping experience. This store is such a mess! I went at 10:00am and they were stocking product and had so many boxes and rolling shelves everywhere I couldn’t maneuver my shopping cart around. Prices on clothes were marked unclearly(racks or tables with clothes on them that rang up as full price instead of the sale price which was listed on the sign of the table or rack they were located). I ended up not buying half of what I put in my cart because it rang up as more expensive than I had anticipated. I had difficulty finding a specific size Jean for my daughter and despite my 2 year old crying during the 10 mins I searched, not one employee asked if I needed any help. And the store was not busy at all. Im a frequent Old Navy shopper. Very un-impressed with this location.

It wasn’t even a very busy day(at least when I was there), but this store is/was a mess. Nothing in the right place, clothes on the dirty floor, and a staff that seemed a bit frazzled. Maybe i just missed the sale of the century, but I have seen stores look better after Black Friday openings…

Their carts are straight up dangerous for children, which is the only reason you would need a cart in old navy. My daughter simply leaned forward and the clip popped right open and she nearly fell out head first. I was 3 steps away and had to dive over to catch her. They’re also insanely rickety and feel like they could collapse at any second. And it seems they have a total of 4 of these garbage carts? Seriously, I’ve seen better carts being pushed around by homeless people. The store itself is also kind of run-down and is also very messy on a regular basis, even right up front where you get your first impression of the store. I doubt Gap, Inc is really hurting for cash badly enough to keep a store like this in such a bad way. I’d say they’re in need of some new management, to say the least.

I like being able to find a $ 6 tshirt as much as the next guy but I’d rather spend $ 12 if it means the shirt will actually last. I’ve bought a lot of clothing items from Old Navy over the years and it definitely seems like the clothes wear out long before their time. So, sure, it’s cheap but this is another instance of you get what you pay for.

THANKGODFOROLDNAVY — I came to Utah with nothing but sun dresses and flip flops — in 50 degree weather and rain. Not the smartest move. I had NOTHINGWARM and was seriously considering setting a trash can on fire for heat… my MIL was kind enough to take me here — went to clearance section and found a black sweater and purple sweats. Not the best color combo but fuck it — it was warm and I was grateful for warmth. The best part was they were only $ 11.99 each — Hooray for protection against cold! I will forever be in your debt ON!

It’s easy to start comparing Old Navy to some of the other ‘discount’ clothing retailers, but in many respects, they stand out on their own and I would say the term ‘affordable’ would actually be more appropriate, combined with their own more unique brands of many items you don’t get at those other places. Really I see Old Navy as trying to set itself apart and sit somewhere between the discount/clearance stores and the more expensive and fashionable mall stores — and since I’m a guy you know I really know what I’m talking about here! :P Well since I fear that has convinced no one, what I will say is this is a good store for your everyday clothing items, things like T-Shirts, Jeans, Hoodies etc. They have some pretty good stuff at fairly reasonable prices. Sure there are places you can get similar things cheaper, but I’ve found Old Navy products to be pretty hard wearing and durable which makes the slightly higher price worth it, plus if you do peruse the clearance items sometimes you might just get lucky and find a real deal. I’ve always found the service good at Old Navy, and have always liked how they brand themselves as an American store(despite the fact everyone knows most the stuff is not made in the USA, but I’ll not begin a rant on that subject here since I can say that about pretty much every clothing store). I do have to say, I do like to get myself one of the American Flag t-shirts they bring out annually. I don’t know how long they’ve done that for, but what I can say is when I’ve got one it’s lasted a good long time, and you can look really patriotic into the bargain. You can’t really complain at that can you?

I come here sometimes for the childrens clothes. I don’t recommend the adult clothes unless you are short. If I buy anything for myself from ON, I have to order the«tall» size online, and even those barely make the cut length-wize.(I’m 5’9″ – not freakishly tall.). But today I went to Target next door & picked up shorts and a tank for my daughter and spent $ 18. Came to ON immediately after and got an even cuter pair of shorts and an even cuter tank for $ 13. This location is nice. Not too crowded typically.

I’m decidedly un-prosey today, so below I will list some observations about this Old Navy. Ready? Begin. — Lately it seems like the clearance racks are not so crazy as they had once been. On occasion the ladies side gets a littly unruly, but for the fellas it’s not so bad. — Lately it seems like the clearance racks are kinda sucky. Not so much on the ladies side, but definitely on the fellas side. — Great for staples like tees, v’s, long sleeves, and hoodies. — Dunno what the deal is with the middle of the store. I like the man stuff on one side, woman stuff on the other, kids in the back… but the middle of the store seems like no man’s land with PJs or graphic tees or scarves or whatever they didn’t have room for somewhere else. They’re all just fine, but don’t follow a logical layout. — Weird parking situation with a corner store like this. Park RIGHT in front, or across the street, or just by Target and walk down. It’s fine, but just weird. — If you don’t find what you want here, you have South Towne mall right there for all your shopping fun.
