Good ramen price is very reasonable. I would highly recommend for Authentic Ramen noodles taste.

They«supposedly» have 50% off sushi I paid $ 15 for a Vegas roll. Really? So that roll is actually suppose to be $ 30 bucks? Because the waitress said that it was the price on the menu not half of the price on the menu. Id rather go to Ichiban or yi sushi bistro and get like 8 rolls for that Amount. I seriously paid $ 60 for 1 sushi roll and bowl of ramen noodles. Will not go back. We were the only ones in the empty restaurant and the outside is very unappealing. But they have a karaōke bar if your interested and sushi classes.

Took friends here because of the positive reviews we read. The first clue that we should have left was the ants crawling all over my menu. I don’t mean two or three, which is still bad, but I mean dozens! The gyoza weren’t bad, the ramen was sub-par and the tempura was greasy and heavy. But the yakitori was the worst, sending our dining partner to the restroom twice on the way home. Stay away for your own health.

Not the best ramen I have ever had but certainly not the worst! I visited Ramen Ichiro a couple of weeks ago and while I enjoyed my food, I wasn’t blown away by it. I had the Banzai Ramen which includes a whole pork cutlet resting on top of your choice of broth. The broth was good, as was the pork cutlet. Oddly, the star of the bowl was the soft boiled eggs. They were perfect in consistency and marination level. Unfortunately, the ramen itself was slightly overcooked and lacked the snappy consistency that ramen noodles normally have. An unexpected and pleasant surprise came in the form of Ramen Ichiro’s takoyaki. For those not familiar with Japanese street food, takoyaki are ping pong ball sized spheres of cornmeal and octopus with dashi and mayo on top. I lived near Osaka, Japan for over two years and the takoyaki at Ramen Ichiro was easily the best I have tasted since leaving the Osaka area. I consider this to be quite the compliment because Osaka is known for its takoyaki vendors and the quality of octopus awesomeness you can find there is very high. Unfortunately, for a ramen shop, the ramen here is average. But like I said in the beginning, it is far from bad and Ramen Ichiro is worth a visit. Lastly, Ramen Ichiro is also home to a very authentic karaōke room. If you want to see what karaōke looks like in Japan, rent out Ramen Ichiro’s karaōke room and you won’t be far off. I personally have not done this but at a glance, the room and its equipment look very similar to the karaōke bars I used to frequent in Japan. I look forward to trying Ramen Ichiro’s out at some point very soon.

This is the worst service. 10 mins for a drink order, 30 mins after the order we get our gyoza appetizer. I’m still waiting for my ramen! Ramen! It literally doesn’t take long to make a soft boiled egg and pre-made noodles into a broth. I chose to come here on a whim, giving new places a chance in Salt Lake, but I just can’t stand the service out here. It’s terrible. This has been one of the worst so far. Skip this place!

Very disappointing ramen. Very little flavor with noodles that tasted like they came right out of the package.

A little confusing since it resides in the Restaurant and open at different times. Good Ramen is scarce and hard to find in SLC. Their versions are good and the portions are huge. You can split a bowl between 2 adults no problem. I enjoyed the spicy ramen with extra spice. Gyoza and Edamame appetizers were good. Super friendly staff. The interior of the restaurant needs updating but the food is great and worth the try. Plenty of parking and cash, credit cards accepted.

This ramen is amazing! I got the miso ramen and it had corn which is hard to find. We also took advantage of the happy hour menu getting rolls and appetizers. We happened to try this place on Valentine’s Day and they had great live music. It’s a really enjoyable environment with great service and even better food. My only complaint was I couldn’t eat all the food I ordered while there. I need to learn self control when it comes to ordering!

I got the tonkotsu ramen and gyoza dumplings. The ramen, I was expecting more flavor with. It’s light, but not completely plain. A little more flavor would perfect this bowl. The meat, tender and juicy! The bamboo tasted like it was marinated in beer– not to say that’s a bad thing. It was amazing as a matter of fact. Service was great but can’t exactly give a correct judgment since there’s only a total of 4 customers in here currently. Gyoza dumplings, so so. I’ll be back if they add a little more flavor to the ramen.

I am not sure the reason behind this listing, and somehow they opened a business within another business? Ramen Ichiro seems to be just a new menu featuring by Mt. Fuji Sushi, since you get both the old sushi menu and the new ramen when you walk in. I got the Spicy Shoyu Ramen, which was just little bit mild once you get to the bottom of the broths. Noodles were a bit inconsistence, as some of us had bigger and some were smaller, mostly likely due to difference in the cook time. They got the standard soft boiled egg and a few super thin slice of narutomaki. They replaced the other like seaweed with a bunch of white broccoli and carrots, which reminds of frozen veggie. The pork was not even anywhere close being chashu, just steamed pork chucks slapped on top. Service was actually pretty good for an Asian place, and they went to the extreme of giving us bottles of Ramune after running out of soda. But I definitely had a bowl of westernized twisted ramen that was bastardized by frozen veggie and chucks of pork. I am not sure what I made of this place yet, perhaps given time, the ramen quality will improve?
