The sushi was okay. The ramen was okay. The service was unbelievable slow and we were one of two parties in the restaurant. It took an hour to get our food.

Food was pretty dang good! In town from Seattle, and not sure what people are talking about with slow service reviews… Our service rivaled Seattle phở restaurants… Very quick! They were even short on servers so our host Kiki served us and took great care of us so we wouldn’t have to wait! I’d come back if I didn’t live 873 miles away.

Whatever you do don’t order sushi here bc they overload it with rice and nothing but a sliver of fish… They fell apart easily which isn’t good BUT let’s talk about the Ramen! Wow, COMEFORTHERAMEN. You will not be disappointed. The broth comes in different bases– you can choose from miso, spicy and pork Broth. My friend got the miso and it wasn’t over salted like most places I’ve tried, the richness was on point and the noodles weren’t over cooked and mushy. The bento box is good and the price can range from 12 – 15 but you do get a lot of food. Trust me — stay away from sushi. You are paying for rice on rice. Their karaōke room is legit! The lights were colorful and the microphones all worked. The tables are big enough to house 5+ full sized bento boxes/meals and the service is fantastic. I truly do want to give this place four stars but their sushi is terrible… They have happy hour from 5 – 10 pm except Sundays where they close at 830: call ahead if you want a karaōke room bc they book pretty fast. They have a wine, sake and beer list that they bring out BEFORE the menu which I think is nice. It’s like they know you want to drink without you voicing it. Haha. Check this place out

I love this place! Most authentic Japanese food I’ve found so far in SLC, and now they have Ramen!
