My go to place when I’m craving chinese. I’ve been coming here for a while and it never disappoints, they have really good lunch specials!

Food is good but prices could be a bit more reasonable given the location is in between 2 – 3 dispensaries with weird activity in parking lot. Lady is quick to get you off the phone, wish she was a biy more helpfull

Easy 4 stars. Family meals, we chose family dinner options A & B. So tasty. I’m a fatty WAIT so is the fam bam. Fresh off the grill, no joke on the servings. Plates of desire. beef broccoli, fried rice, sweet n sour pork, shrimp n snap peas, mu shu with pancake aka burrito. Oh but we had to have the egg drop soup my ultimate fav chinese soup n wong tong soup. What made this small restaurant for us was the service. Excellent! The local place is a hidden gem but I can’t tell everybody.

Disgust. Horrible food terrible flavor and dirty bathrooms. Dirty everything down to the soy sauce bottle. Ever heard of a wet rag? Just a daily wipe down would help.

This place is awesome. The food is good, and the prices on point. We eat here all the time, and for the money — it’s well worth a stop in. Also — the staff is always so friendly to everyone. Highly recommended!!!

Judging from the outside of this place, I thought it was going to be a dump. But we were starving so we went in, and were greeted by a very happy little lady. The restaurant was clean, and the customers looked happy. The service was amazing and the food was great!

This place is garbage. Their hot and sour soup tastes like straight vinegar. And I found pieces of hair in my rice. Ewwwww.

This place is a hole in the wall, but it’s really good. I recommend the Shrimp fried rice, chicken chow mein and egg rolls. I’ve came here for 4 years now and have never been disappointed. The people are so nice.

Well… some of the reviews hint as to the neighborhood being a bit rough, and they’re sort of right. However, I didn’t exactly feel like my life was being threatened at gun point either. It just looks like an area that has a few rough edges… That said, it was well worth a 20 minute drive from my hotel. I elected to go with some standby comfort food, chicken and shrimp fried rice and wonton soup — they were both very delicious. The rice was a dark brown like it should’ve been and the soup was full of flavor. I had asked for real soy sauce and hot mustard instead of the packet stuff… they didn’t even put up a fuss and ran back into the kitchen to gram that for me. Most places will just look at you and smile, and say«yeah yeah yeah…» Only to find, when you get back to your room, those crappy tasting replicas of what some call soy sauce and hot mustard — Yuck! So again, thank you for giving me the real deal soy sauce! This is a solid Chinese restaurant in a cozy little neighborhood… just make sure you’re «pack’en»!

I recently came in & the older Asian woman was there! Quick service, knows what I like and I am very picky with my soup but she understands what I want every time! I look forward to my next visit!

Really bomb Chinese food. I always order the shrimp fried rice and chicken chowmein. They give you 3 extra fortune cookies too!

We thought the food was decent. Too bad they tried to rip us off by charging a few extra dollars over the menu price. I guess they think people won’t notice… Not a very nice thing to do to their customers. So make sure to double check the prices before you pay them!

The people could not have been nicer; incredibly cordial on the phone, made suggestions as to what to order and understood our needs. The food itself was well prepared; we had the Kung Pao Chicken, Chow Mein with BBQ Pork, and an order of Mixed vegetables. The addition of the crunchy pan-friend noodles to the Chow Mein was a very nice touch. Overall the food tasted bland to us; the addition of the hot mustard and chili sauce helped a lot in creating sensory interest. Without it, it wasn’t as flavorful as we’re used to. Again, wonderful people; food was simply less exciting than we’re accustomed to.

Wasn’t sure what to expect with the mixed reviews(seems all the Chinese places in the area have mixed reviews). I was taking a small group from work to dinner and the desire was Chinese. Arrived to find the place in a run down looking strip mall that felt to be in a sketchy area. things perked up upon entering and being greeting by this little old Chinese woman. She was bubbly, friendly, and almost impossible to understand. We ordered way too much and everyone was quite pleased with the quality and quantity of the food. Some of our highlights were the pan fried dumplings, broccoli beef, and house fried rice. Those were the faves but all was good. Enjoyed the orange wedges at the end of the meal and the almond cookies that accompanied the fortune cookies and check. For those that are hung up in «authentic» vs «Americanized», know this… you can eat with a fork and the food was delicious with service spot on.

This place deserved all 5 stars. It’s definitely a higher quality of Chinese food and was superbly fresh. The parking lot seemed kind of sketchy, but don’t let that deter you from trying their food. It was clean and nice, and their House Fried Rice and General Tsao chicken were amazingly delicious. They had some great lunch and dinner deals that included soup, salad or egg rolls, and fried or regular rice and an entrée or two. You pay around $ 8 – 10 per person for the deals; we didn’t end up getting that, but we might next time. I didn’t feel disgusting and bogged down after eating, and the meal came with orange slices, almond cookies, and fortune cookies at the end. :)

Blown away! We saw the photos on Unilocal and wanted to try it– I am shocked! The food is so much better than the pictures gave it justice. We ate it too fast to take a picture this time! Next time a photo will follow. Word to the wise– huge portions!!!

In short, a good restaurant in a bad neighborhood. Bf and I were looking for the best rated Chinese food in Santa Ana and we decided to check this place out. It turned out to have one of the shadiest parking lots. However, we were greeted by a friendly old lady who is probably the manager. She made us feel comfortable and our orders were brought in quickly! We had the Tsing Tao Chinese beer which was light and nice. The food’s serving size was medium. Just the right amount. They have really good dinner deals for $ 10, $ 12 and $ 14 per person. My bf had the beef broccoli while I had the schezwan shredded pork. The egg rolls were good too! 4 stars because of the bad neighborhood. Otherwise, definitely worth the money!

Seriously the best place for Chinese food in Santa Ana! It’s a mom and pop place that I’ve been coming to since I was little. It’s only the owners and sometimes some family that work here, and one bus boy, so service can be a little slow at times, but they’re always happy to see you! The lunch specials and family dinner specials are a steal! Be warned that the little strip mall that it’s in has two dispensaries so there are a couple shady characters out and about, but it’s totally worth navigating! May they be around til the end of time cuz I could not imagine life without them!
