Airport was empty and the staff of seven behind the counter acted irritated at my presence. When I added my breakfast sandwich to my drink order, the barista all but rolled her eyes at me. Meanwhile, two of the other baristas joked in the corner, while one was spreading cream cheese all over her own bagel. I’m sorry but please don’t eat right behind the counter, take a break and eat elsewhere. Lastly, when(the same bagel eating barista) tossed my breakfast sandwich down(calling out the incorrect order, a sausage sandwich– I ordered a veggie breakfast sandwich). I knew it was mine as I was LITERALLY the only customer; I told that barista what I had actually ordered. Again, faced with a total attitude, she said«that sandwich doesn’t HAVE meat.» Um ok– you just yelled out«SAUSAGESANDWICH». I don’t think it’s acceptable to treat any customers rudely, let alone when I’m the only one you have to deal with. I’ll just eat at McDonalds next time. At least they seem happy to see their customers.

I wasn’t sure the place was open. Most of the food court closed at 5pm and Starbucks had no lights on and the 3 employees were cleaning and not acknowledging I was looking around. They were open, so I was able to order my beverage.

The people are rude and not living up to the Starbucks customer service. They by no means go above and beyond for their customers. Horrible place!!!

Ok — you know I bag on Starbucks as a marketing scam to get people to pay a lot for bad coffee… but…when you’re grabbing a cup to go, you just can’t beat the lids on the starbucks coffee — the plastic is thick enough to insulate your lip from getting burned. That, plus the fact that they’re between Carls Jr.(my post landing breakfast spot) and the rental cars means this Starbucks is my first-cup-of-the-day stop. The baristas are always friendly, and, so far, no burnt espresso, so kudos to this Starbucks for making traveling suck a little bit less!

Rude, affected, malcontent hipster«man’s» cash register… pink hair dye not helping his attitude for some reason. Go figure.

You won’t find better coffee in the airport So sleep in a little longer and let The Barista’s make your morning warmer and sweeter with an airport latte Recommend this location

Wrote my name«AJ» as Adrian and after I came to ask after my drink was sitting there for 5min, the barista was just plane rude by telling me that it’s a tall macchiato; not pleased by the service nor the fully misspelling of «AJ».

Your typical airport Starbucks. Baristas here will mot make an effort to be friendly, they know they’re going to sell you the caffeine anyway. So like coffee zombies we wait our turn, place our order and step aside until your cup is made. I somehow feel that this location takes you for granted, with guaranteed foot traffic at an airport location, they may have gotten complacent. The sugar /stirrer /napkin island is rather small and really a slap-in-the-face afterthought. I say this because I am not the only one awkwardly balancing luggage and adding sugar to my coffee in a small space. This is after I’ve manoeuvred my way around my fellow travellers to collect my cup. A part of this store’s space is dedicated to mugs and wares. The island and waiting areas should receive a little more real estate, otherwise it makes me feel like they really don’t care. Anyway, this store is conveniently located close to my gate and I succumb to caffein cravings more often than I should, so they can still have my money.

Got my drink in less than 3 minutes from ordering. Line went by quickly(especially for an airport at 8 am). Also, the man at the cash register who rang me up(I believe his name was Benjamin or so the receipt said) is great. He’s super energetic and welcoming. Appreciate the positive energy in the morning

Horrible service. Ordered an iced mint tea and was told they don’t make that — although I get it at other locations. So I asked for a hot tea and a cup of ice to make my own. Once I paid and walked away — the girl behind the counter turned to her co-worker and said, «I hate when they get snarky, it is so uncalled for.» At least wait until I walk away and am out of earshot. I have been to this location multiple times and it seems the service never gets better. It definitely does not reflect positively on their«brand».

Prices significantly higher and full price for refills. Unilocal wants me to write more but that’s it.

Horrible service. Gate 16 southwest location. I ordered a doppio espresso half decaffeinate, the cup looked like it had 3 shots. I told the barista and he just simply poured some on the sink and gave it t back. That works if the content was all the same kind. This time it was half decaff half normal. I hate this location. Too bad since I use the airport a lot and drink the same thing everyday.

I needed coffee and wasn’t quite awake yet. One person was a little too amped up for me. I do wish that if they bothered to take our name that they announce it when the drink is up. They caused us all to converge any time a drink came out. I did get through the line just in time, because it backed up right after I came through.

Overworked and could not care less about incomplete orders or poor service. Issues that would have happened at a normal Starbucks would have been dealt with completely differently. Order simple items, make it easy on the staff and yourself. Perhaps your destination airport will have better service.

What excellent service! I was awaken not by the coffee but by the extra enthusiastic service they provided at 6am. Really well staffed and efficient for the morning rush at the airport. There was maybe 20 ppl when I got in line but I was in and out in 5min.

LOVE Starbucks(and not afraid to admit it). I am soooo glad that there is a Starbucks here at John Wayne and delighted that they sell breakfast sandwiches. I used to be relegated to buying gross McDonald’s breakfast sandwiches, and then would spend the next five hours feeling like crap on my plane ride back East. Not anymore! Of course, it’s overpriced since it’s at the airport. And for some reason the barista could not understand my coffee order(venti coffee with an add shot of espresso and an inch and a half of extra foamy steamed soy) like I was speaking a foreign language. I was not. Overall though, I am delighted there is a conveniently located Starbucks at SNA now and thrilled they can push the drinks and breakfast sandwiches out quickly as well :)

I ordered an asiago bagel and they gave me a cinnamon(?) raisin bagel instead. I didn’t mind because I still had time until my flight, but when I got my new bagel, I realized the guy used the same bag and it had smears of the old bagel all over the inside. Normally I wouldn’t really care, but I absolutely hate raisins and cinnamon, so I kind of freaked out when I saw black dirty streaks on the inside of the bag. I feel like that’s just not very sanitary and what if I were allergic to cinnamon or raisins? Just seemed very lazy to me. The worst part is that it wasn’t even like it was busy. I got there right when they opened and there were only 2 people behind me with 3 workers behind the counter. The only reason I’m giving this place 2 stars is because the other worker was very nice and it’s a convenient location when you’re waiting for your flight.

I really doubt I could add much new here. Service was good, but slow to get drinks out. I counted 7 employees which seems adequate. When I got my Grande White Chocolate Mocha it was too HOT! Eventually when cooled enough it was good. I get this drink most every week, so unsure what the deal was. Also of note is they ate more expensive than stand alone stores. At least 60 cents more. Who knows, maybe overcharged. I snapped a pic if paint coming off a wall that was not attractive. Good, not great today.

There was a short line so I had to grab my vente, iced, non-fat latte with 3 splendas before I had to board my flight to San Francisco. The service was fast and friendly. I’m a fan… 4 Stars!
