When a cup says«extra caramel drizzle», you’d expect for there to be extra caramel drizzle. But nope, it’s as though I ordered a regular caramel macchiato with regular caramel drizzle. Despite it being busy here, I guess it would kill the baristas to take a couple extra seconds to add extra caramel… Or maybe I guess it would kill them to read what’s actually on my cup. This is the 2nd time it’s happened. So, I’m not coming back here anymore. There are other Starbucks in the area.

This location has probably one of the friendliest staff. The girls who were working here were all bubbly and would smile even through a tough order. I walked in here to get a drink off their after 3 pm special tea menu one day after I got my poke bowl right next door. I wanted to get a drink to pair off with my lunch soooo a tea would be perfect. The cashier suggested the strawberry limeade to me since it was one of her favorites so I decided to give it a shot. The barista made my drink very fast and when I got my drink, it looks so pretty! It’s like a pink colored drink and it tasted so cooling. It’s basically strawberry syrup with lemonade and crushed ice blended. It’s like a frozen lemonade icee drink. +There’s plenty of parking here! I recommend coming to this location :)

This is a normal Starbucks, except there is always a really long line. If you are in a hurry, this is not the best place to grab a quick cup of joe. It may be the busiest Starbucks in North America.

Every time I go to this Starbucks I remind myself to never go to this Starbucks again! ALWAYS a super long line, and NEVER get my drink right. Seriously. Its not that I hard. I don’t do some weird order, just a basic coffee with shot of flavor and leave room for cream. Customer service is not here. I only go because my office is right behind the Starbucks, but seriously??? Yesterday I went in for the very last time and the girl at the counter told me she couldnt break a $ 100 bill. Thats really funny cuz I know for fact they get busy from the time they open in the morning and it was 1pm. I’m like, your kidding right? Then she goes and gets the manager and the manager tells me it is against Starbucks policy to break a hundred. wth? I only had a bill on me,(remember I work right behind the shop). Finally the manager says she will break it for me this one time, but she will have to give me back all 5’s and 1’s. SOOVERSTARBUCKS. I hope corporate reads this. I will never go again. Well I my opinion, all Starbucks’ are wonderful haha. Staff here are nice, even though the customers were being very rude to the when I went. A lady went off on the barista for taking so long, but there were way to many customers that all came at once and it was in no way the barista’s fault. Proud of her for keeping her cool even though the lady yelled at her. But back to the point, nice staff here and delicious drinks as always

Maybe it’s because it’s Saturday after 2pm and in Irvine there is no sense of urgency… But if I’m at a Starbucks and I have time to get mad enough and write a Unilocal review that means you need to hurry the F up!!! This review is especially for this location. I used to be a fan of Starbucks. However, their inconsistency in customer service depends on a location or employee became too much for me to handle just for coffee. My girl friends and I used to use this place as girls’ after work gathering place. One day, a young female employee spilled hot coffee all over my brand new white canvas tennis shoes. I still had my box and recipes in my car. She said sorry but just stand there and didn’t do a thing. This was the second time this happened to me at the Starbuck. I told her that coffee stains do not come out of canvas material and had asked if they had a company policy for something like this. She said that there is no such policy. It is amazing that a company of this size has no policy for something like this. I am pretty certain I am not the first and the only person who got coffee spilled on at Starbucks. She asked to go find out if some dry cleaner if they can clean the stain. I did what she asked and came back next day to tell her with a memo from the cleaner saying«coffee stain on the canvas material do not come out». She said«I don’t know what to do». I asked her«why don’t you go get your supervisor or manager so I can ask?». She brings a guy and the guy tells me they they can only give me free coffee ticket. The girl who spilled coffee on me hands me two coffee tickets. o_O“ I handed her my shoe receipt with my stained shoes and requested for 4 more. All of a sudden she develop an attitude and said«you want that many?». I responded«I am ok with you paying me back for my shoes if that’s what you prefer to do». She quickly handed me 6 cards very pissed off. I am not asking for outstanding customer service for $ 3 coffee. Simple curtesy or commonsense will be good enough. Am I harsh to give one star for one incompetent employee and a manager? I don’t think so. At any small coffee place something like this can mean the end of their business. Customer service is not just about saying«thank you» for a cup of over priced coffee. It is about how you can treat customer well(or half decent in this case) even you are having not so good day and be able to handle situation like this like a pro. I don’t go to Starbucks anymore but there are few starbucks I use for emergency coffee break. Drinks are similar no matter where you go in U.S. but customer service of the location I use are fair and best of all consistent. What they need to do is to send managers here to Starbucks in Japan. Any of the Starbucks in Japan has far better service and their employee don’t even get tips.

If you’re at this Starbucks make sure Masud is on your drink. Masud works at lightening speed. Every time I go in the order is PERFECT, the customer service is amazing, and I’m in and out of there on my way back to work in a flash. He’s a bad ass behind the bar.

I have never waited more than ten minutes in line here, even when the line was wrapped around the parking lot. Drinks take a max of five to ten minutes no matter how long the line seems. The only time someone has ever gotten my order wrong, they caught it themselves and remade it immediately. The whole staff works as a team to get the workflow done. They’re polite, friendly, and I’ve noticed they seem to remember regulars orders and start on them right away when the person gets to the counter to keep the line moving. Everyone is incredibly professional, the location is always clean to the point of sterile-and if it isn’t, someone appears immediately to straighten up-and every order, no matter how complicated, is correct the first time and gets out to you quickly. I used to work in the same industry and I’m ashamed to say that this Starbucks staff puts my whole company to shame, singlehandedly. They’re amazing and fast-paced. Trust me, it always looks busy, but if you’re in a rush, you can count on them to get your coffee to you.

I like this location a lot because it is across the street from my work and I have always had great service here but I have never received my order the way that I got it last week. I did not call this Starbucks or complain about my order because I already had started work and did not have time to go back. Down the drain it went! But I really hope I don’t experience this again. I always order an iced green tea latte, with vanilla and soy milk but this was the most disgusting drink I have received, and i have ordered this drink numerous times at this location in the mornings. I was happy to get my drink after the long wait but didn’t realize once I got back to my office, as I sipped my drink I swallowed chunks of I do not know what! I am assuming the soy milk went bad because it was sour and was terrible. I thought maybe it wasn’t mixed enough so I mixed it for a good minute, but as it mixed around the cup, the white chunks floated around everywhere and sank down the cup… I’m really happy I did not get sick. Just a heads up to this location and any other Starbucks locations is to check their milk. I know that it’s a busy morning but you do not want your customers getting sick. I give this place a 3 because I enjoy coming here, but for now on I will be checking my drink before hurrying back to work!

MANAGEMENT: I frequent this store because it is conveniently located for me. Please pay attention to these negative reviews and make some changes. This store is constantly not well kept or clean, both behind the bar and in the lobby. Your staff really does not display a sense of urgency. I was in your store today at 4:40pm and Ilene literally left my drink halfway through making it to go an speak with another crew member about their schedule for tomorrow. I think customers would be more understanding about the wait if your employees were more attentive and the environment in which we were waiting displayed more cleanliness.

This location is in a corporate setting. There’s a lot of outdoor seating, which was recently renovated. So indoor seated is minimal and often occupied. Since the space is cozy, the drink line can go out the door. But that’s ok, because the staff is pretty efficient at this location and friendly too! I’ve frequented this place before writing my review, and so far they have managed to get my drinks right each time. Parking is a challenge during morning/lunch peak times. Try parking in back or off the side of the building. If possible, bike or walk. Need a little fun before the caffeine kicks in? Answer with«Beyoncé» or «Thor» when the barista asks for your name. It sure does turns heads when they call out«Beyoncé I have your egg white spinach wrap with ½ pump vanilla syrup extra foam latte» Just sayin’…

I can’t help it, I just had to write another review about this location. You know that feeling, when you first go somewhere and have a great experience, and then you REALLY, REALLY, and I mean R E A L L Y hope that regardless how many times you visit the place, that you’re last visit will be just as good as the first? If you know what I mean, then you can appreciate how I feel about this Starbucks. Shame on me, I don’t check in as religiously as I should, but I’m practically at this location at least 3x a week because work is 2 minutes away(Lucky, I know!). And I’ve got to hand it to Management — no matter how many new baristas/cashiers that I take notice of, there is one obvious commonality amongst them all — They are all Fantastic. And not the annoying fantastic, either. They’re genuinely a good caring staff, with different personalities, but the amazing thing about them all is the down to earth customer service. They make an effort to remember your name if you’re a regular, or a newcomer. I can attest to this because I’ve witnessed it myself. Not only do they have my name down, but also the customer in front, and behind me as well! *High Five* Starbucks! You have no idea how much your awesome staff is appreciated.
