Sunglass Hut

Went there to get some sun glasses for my wife but didn’t know what to get & this girl jay helped me in selecting the sun glasses
When I gave it to my wife she loved it

I hope I’m reviewing the correct store since ValleyFair somehow has 3 Sunglass Hut’s.
Went in today and received excellent customer service from Jay.
Yay for Jay and yay for new sunnies :)

Lie lie lie

Small corner store next to Macy’s. Wasn’t greeted when my girl and I entered. 10 minutes into browsing my girl puts a pair of sunglasses and the employee walks over and says «not that many people can pull those off» thankful for the compliment, but thats the only thing that was said throughout our experience.
The thing is my girl was actually interested in a few pairs and was ready to spend a few bucks. But if only we had some sunglass hut service they would’ve had some sales.
Zero sales = Zero stars

My wife and I strolled into this store last weekend and was immediately greeted by the sales person (Lauren i think…) who had a typical «i-​dont-​care» teenager like attitude. Moreover, in a very short span of time she completely proved her ignorance of any information or policy whatsoever regarding the establishment.
I bought a pair of Ray Bans and asked her the return policy, noting that the only reason I would want to return that pair is if I see some other lower price on that in any other sunglass hut or Ray Ban website.
To this she spoke like she knew it all, and educated me on how Sunglass Hut is part of Luxottica and how Luxottica owns Ray Ban brand, so Sunglass Hut owns Ray Ban. So there cant be different prices anywhere else, and if it was, they would price match.
after i came home and did some online research, i found the real facts:
fact 1: sunglass hut and ray ban are both owned by luxottica. so they are sister brands and dont own each other
fact 2: although all sunglass huts have same price, the ray ban website was $ 10 lower on the same pair of glasses. that is because sun glass hut actually charges an implicit fee for their guarantee and replacement and maintenance policy.
fact 3: sunglass hut does not price match
tip for Lauren: drop the teeny act and get some true facts before you open your mouth the next time.
