I came here tonight! The staff was so great that I can’t even wait to write my review! So friendly and fun! I, at one point, had every staff person(like, 6 in total) there helping me. They were telling me, honestly, which pairs looked better. Super helpful! From the minute I walked in, I felt at ease. Every few minutes someone checked in to see if I was finding things alright! Oh! And the mirrors are full length — this is a MAJORBONUS for the very nearsighted(like myself), so you can get real up close and personal to see what your frames look like! They do the PD measurement in store too, just FYI. The glasses are so reasonably priced, that I hope they turn out good! I loved visiting this store and have a feeling I might stop by again soon for an impulse buy of a back up pair!(And maybe then a back up pair for my back up pair) A seriously excellent experience!

The staff here make sure you are happy with your frame purchase, and go out of their way to make sure you are. Unfortunately, my first pair was warped and my second had some lens issues. The team at Warby Parker really took the issues under the microscope(quite literally) and found out my eyes didn’t like the curvature of the normal lenses. So what did they do? they took in my worrisome pair to upgrade it to flatter hi-index lenses — free of charge! Very happy with Team Warby Parker, and their in-house opticians really know how to troubleshoot the hardest of issues, leaving no stone unturned. I would normally be upset about how many times I had to come into store, but their great customer service made each time quite pleasant.

Wow. Sometimes I feel 5 stars is not enough. I am familiar with the company, if you are not, they have a great website where you can order these at home. They mail pairs to you to try on before you commit to buying. They have a shop in SF and I was actually looking up the hours for the SF shop because I am a pain and overly particular and really need to try things on in person. I saw they opened this in SJ and immediately made plans to roll. The store is quite spacious. Plenty of mirrors for the general narcissist or people actually trying on frames. The frames are organized really well. And everything is super easy to find. They have tons of different style frames with multiple color choices for each. They are ALL stylish. Nothing bogus. Half of the store is for standard glasses and half is sunglasses. *WARNING: if you are one of those obnoxious people who feel the need to buy«designer» just to feel important or a sense of entitlement, this is not for you.* These are just well made stylish glasses that are modest enough you do not need to say«Oh my ______are just the best glasses.» while trying to impress people that you know a designer. The irony is that sort of sums up 85% of people on Santana Row. The prices are ridiculously cheap. Cheap enough that you could actually reasonably just buy a pair to look hipster or smarter if you don’t even need glasses. For those of us who choose to wear glasses out of necessity you’ll be pleased to find out the prices INCLUDE prescriptions. You need to bring your prescription and then they send it to the lab in(who the heck knows) and get them shipped back to you or the shop. Seriously if you have a vision impairment, go. Never mind… don’t, I don’t want everyone wearing the same pair as me. :)

I love this branch! Wide array of selections, extremely helpful and naturally professional employees, and pristine ambiance. Thanks to Audrey for helping me choose a desirable frame despite the long time I took to walk around & choose. Highly recommend!

With it’s bright spacious interior, great lighting(for all those selfies that you’ll need to take), floor to ceiling mirrors everywhere, and a team of happy associates who aren’t pushy to try and sell you, it’s hard not to fall in love with a place like this. I’d almost say that you’d be a fool to not come in here just to have the Warby Parker experience. The first thing you’ll notice is all the cute pairs of frames the employees are wearing. They look so good on all of them that you are inspired to find the perfect pair for yourself. And when I say experience, I mean that in every sense of the word. I was introduced to Kirsten when I first entered the store. Cute as can be with a chamois in her hand to clean off smudged lenses for you, she pulled frames left and right from the walls that were lined up. She was my personal consultant as I took my time happily trying on everything she was grabbing for me. She asked questions like, «What kind of style do you usually go for? Any particular colors?» The shopper in me said I would personally have an entire frame wardrobe so that I could have several pairs just to match every kind of outfit. And with the prices here, it’s totally possible. The frames are organized by name and price so there isn’t a guessing game as far as how much something costs. Most frames are $ 95(plastic) and some are $ 145(mixed stainless steel and plastic). And yes folks, the prices already include the lens with anti reflective coating. When Kirsten was joined by Marielle in my frame search, they directed me to the sunglass wall where you can also pick any sunglass frame to be turned into eyeglasses. They’re also more than happy to take out the dark lenses so you can try them on as prescription frames as well. Lucky me, I was the one and only customer in store so I had the undivided attention of all the associates to help me pick out my frames. Did you guys notice *plural*?! Yes folks. I bought 2 pairs. For what you would normally pay at a regular optometrist buying one pair of Tom Ford’s or Oliver Peoples, I got 2 pairs of Warby Parkers. Can you say(#winning)!!! I have to say a huge«Thank you» to the most awesome team of associates– Kevin, Tina, Audrey, Kirsten, Marielle, Keith and Michaela! You guys were the highlight of my day. Because of you guys, I am dedicating my first review of 2016 to all of you. Cheers!

Finally a Warby Parker location in San Jose! This location opened at the perfect spot at the beginning of Santana Row right next to LB Steak and across from Gucci. The theme of this store seems to imitate a library which is so cute. They have the same selection as they do online and at the Venice store which is the store I usually go to. The service is great as always. I came in for a new cloth since mine left streaks on my glasses, which is weird considering I ordered my glasses recently. Anyway, they gave me a new cloth with no questions asked. The staff is extremely knowledgable and helped me find a pair of sunglasses.

I LOVETHISWARBYPARKERLOCATION! The place is a bit more upscale with an atmosphere like a library almost. It’s a friendly atmosphere with lots of glasses to choose from. The staff is friendly, knowledgable, and will help you with whatever you need. There is also a doodle table in the middle for families to design buttons, patches, etc. This is a great way to keep busy and have fun while your friend/loved one is shopping around for a nice pair. Things are much easier once you have a payment history with Warby because your info is saved onto their guest list and so, your prescriptions and sizes are recorded already. The glasses here do not fail. They are modernized and priced fair for the middle class. It’s become a true name brand to the optical industry where people can easily afford and have fun with their glasses. I’ll be coming back to purchase a couple more!

Having a brick-and-mortar Warby Parker location in San Jose is a welcome addition to the South Bay. Although Warby Parker does offer free home try-on orders through their website, it’s nice to have the range of frames all available in one place. From what I could tell, it seemed that almost all of the frames and color variations were on display. Both prescription eyeglasses frames and sunglasses are in-store. Additionally, the store layout is open, neatly organized, and has plenty of mirrors. For any local thinking of getting glasses from Warby Parker, stopping by this physical store is probably more convenient than having to stick to the 5 pair limit of home try-on orders.
